Garbage clothing is the main selling items here. If you're size fits in the range of XXS - Med, then you are going to find clothes that fit. Rarely do you see the large or X-Large when it comes to shirts and jackets. Even then, the sizes must be what you call the Asian large where it really fits like a medium. Quality of the clothes is suspect. Talking about wear twice throw away quality. Seems the designers didn't care about style at all and just threw pieces of fabric together. But what do you expect when you can get jeans for $9. I've gone to the store maybe 8-9 times since it's open and never bought anything till today when I bought a light windbreaker to fit underneath another jacket. The thing is too cheaply made to use as a main jacket but fits perfectly as a liner under my motorcycle jacket and only cost me $18. Also, they charge .05 cents for a bag. Really? 5 cents? Shows up on the receipt as checkout bag charge. This place is trash. read more

I love the store I have been shopping there for two years and I still love the prices, the clothes and cosmetics are cheap, the employees are always nice and helpful. I will continue to go there. read more

Wow this store is amazing. Can you believe it there's no taxes included on whatever purchase you make at primark. Awesome store !

I want to like this store because everything is so cheap but I can't. The store is overwhelming and you have to try on everything before buying it. Sizing is weird and it looks different hanging. I have been here a handful of times and only ended up with a coverup. They do not have many size 2, which is the smallest size in store. My friend has good luck but I don't. It obviously is cheap quality hence the prices. I will pop in here if I am in downtown crossing but that is rare. read more

A cheap, yet fashionable clothing store downtown, yes please. Primark is the Trader Joe's of clothing, and my wardrobe is rapidly starting to overflow with their clothing. I buy a bunch of their basics such as tights, camis, leggings, and underwear. Their skinny jeans are pretty durable, but if you're looking to try on their high waist jeans, they're not high waist at all, and I'm a short girl with a short torso, so Idk who they would be high waisted for. The few pairs of shoes that I've bought are still holding on strong, and wicked cute. I'm also a little in love with their home section (pillows, candles, and throws). I make sure to go at non peak times, i.e. when they first open on weekdays/Saturday mornings, because I can't stand crowds and this place can get grossly packed if you come say around noon on a Sat. Primark is awesome, and I'm so glad a store like this exists downtown. read more

I would give Primark 4 stars. Prices are cheap, the lines move fast, and there are so many things to choose from. With that being said, the only thing Primark lacks in is quality but if you're paying so little for clothes then you can't really expect top notch quality. I've seen infinity scarves for $3, sweaters for 10 and pajamas for $7. I love this place! read more

I usually steer clear of 'fast fashion' places like these because for one, it's typically low quality goods; and two, if they're anything like a Forever 21, I know I'd leave with a throbbing migraine. But Primark proved me wrong. For a store with consistent foot traffic, it was extremely organized and presentations were maintained very well. As other reviewers have noted, this brand is pretty much a hybrid of H&M and Forever21, though somewhat better if not the same quality wise. If you go in without a plan, good luck because there will be a lot of useless things you will convince yourself you will need. This is definitely a great addition to Boston, and the changing downtown crossing area. read more

Go because the prices are low. Although, the clothes will probably only last as long as the trends do. I'm still undecided if saving a few dollars is worth being treated like crap from the rude staff. (I'm thinking not.) They are strict about the 8 item policy in the fitting room. However, if it's close to 9 they'll restock the items they don't allow you to bring in and give you attitude when you look for your stuff. read more

I'm a big fan of Primark and it's prices , however the staff are very unfriendly and unprofessional.

Primark is definitely an affordable department store to shop...however the clothes run VERY SMALL ..for example I bought some stretch jeans in size 10 (highest size available) in that design ,I got home tried them on...they could barely fit over my thighs an I'm originally a size 8/9 ...their pants fit me more like a 7....also their clothing shrinks if you put them in a dryer after washed...the variety of clothing is good for the cost...but the quality isnt good. read more

Wow! The most affordable store in the game. Te quality of the clothing is similar to an h&m! Four huge floors. The most expensive top (for men & woman) was somewhere around $20! You just can't beat it. I got some leggins and tights that were great and extremely affordable! Friendly staff, very clean store and they are well staffed for the busy crowds. I will be back next season to heck out some of the spring/summer options! read more

This place is great. Has four floors of straight happiness. Every floor is filled with different designs and all of this is affordable by the way. If you've never been, you need to make it a point to go! It's worth the trip. A shopping spree must! The building is also appealing to the eye. A lot of glass and nice walls and designs. Top floor has home decor and baby clothes and the rest is a mix of shoes, women's, and men's. It's honestly a straight bargain and right up the stairs from the train station entrance. Plus they have registers on every floor so you don't necessarily need to go somewhere specific and it handles the lines better. Expect it to be packed. Great bargains what can you expect. read more

I had high hopes for this place as the prices are good for the current fashion trends but the low prices come with low quality clothing. The material is thin and cheap and doesn't seem to last. I bought a hood sweatshirt and it lasted about 8 washing cycles before it started to come apart. A couple other shirts I bought here seem to be losing color and fraying. It's great for parents who have kids as you don't have you pay top dollar for cloths they are going to grow out of. They do have a large selection of the merchandise they sell. read more

Ok store with cheap clothes. But the second I walked in the door the security guard worker started hitting on me and asked for my number. Made me feel very uncomfortable in the store. read more

It recently seems like the quality of the clothes at Primark have gotten really chintzy; the prices are great, however; as long as you only want to wear the clothes in the current season because I feel they simply won't last longer than that. The frustration I have each time I shop there is that there are about 20 cashiers ready to check you out when they're ready to take your money, but when it comes time to make a return or exchange in the store, there are only a few clerks at those registers and the lines are always long and slow. Also, the clerks at the registers are young kids who have no professional polish, they barely look up at you, or say thank you, etc. and really need better training. I hope Primark in downtown crossing can get their acts together with staffing and also, improve the quality of the clothing as well. Thank you. read more

This place must have been designed by the mad Europeans behind IKEA stores. They used to have opposite-to-intuition escalators that caused chaos. But they seem to have been switched so you no longer have to go across the store to continue to the next floor and almost walk onto the down escalator. I love Primark for baby and toddler clothes. Preteen stuff.. I'm sure it would be great for that. It's fast fashion, cheaply made but usually decently on point for style. As you get into young adulthood... as with all fast fashion, it's less geared towards us. But you can find some worthwhile things at super cheap prices. Oh and being very slim helps. I'm a twig. If you can find your size on clearance.. we're talking $2 t's and jeans. I usually get their socks, basic muscle fit tees's, and athletic pants and shorts. Anything else is .. meh. I got a borg lined denim jacket for $20 that I actually really enjoy and I've twice gotten jeans for $5 and once for $1. Do I wear them everyday? No. but if I want to wear moto denim twice ever.. I paid $5 for it. Thanks Ireland! read more

It's okay if you know that you're not getting the best things here, but just basics. I know the other stuff, including the shoes look cute, but I cannot bring myself to buy them cause there is always something just a bit off. However basic tights and some everyday stretchy jeans is why this place gets a three. They also have a nice selection of home and beauty stuff. read more

I will say that the customer service is there a rude but maybe that's how they're trained to be are they just have a chip on their shoulder pressing the girl that's always in the middle. I'm giving this for five stars even though most of the employees that work there are very rude I didn't little man it's because they're overworked and it's efficiencies and there's a great selection of clothes. It's makeup is awesome I will say that matching powder and Foundation is only $4 a piece compared to other stores which would be a $20. I've been to the Braintree store and I reviewed them than five stars I do feel the workers there are happier and definitely love their job so I'm more than the ones here in Downtown Crossing. maybe they're not as overworked as the ones here but I'm still going to give me 5 Stars I just feel bad for your employees. Upper management definitely has a massive attitude towards customers amd their employees. They say power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Just remember it's just a job and the person who's making your life hell is only doing so because they have nothing else going on in their life. read more

For kids clothes, there isn't a better store. Reasonable and adorable! Several floors offer great options. This is a great mix of H&M, Forever 21... some awesome finds. Worth a look, for sure! I definitely miss Filenes Basement, but not as bad as you'd think with this store! read more

For men's I wish there was a bigger selection LOL. How is that the women's is 3 1/2 floors and men's is only 1/2 a floor?! What is this nonsense. This place is 4 stories tall, the first 3 floors are women's, a part of the 3rd floor is men's, and the 4th floor is for kids and home decor. This place is huge (if you're into women's fashion that is) but for men's it's not too crazy. This place is very, very cheap. Literally cheaper than h&m and forever 21. I thought those were cheap enough but NOPE, this is probably a lot better. I bought a windbreaker for $15!! wow and another light jacket for $30!! wowowowow. This place is really hype though, nothing TOO crazy, I'm sure it'll die down soon enough, until they release winter clothing or something! Really hip and trendy for sure, many different styles, not really my type LOL. You're honestly paying for what you get. The quality is pretty poopy I may add, but it's a few bucks. Like a pair of Timberland boots were like $20, look exactly the same, but they're prob 1/4 quality of the real pairs. Also there's so many cashiers/employees available on every floor. Like holy, who would think there's 20 registers on each floor. Well, probably only like 10 registers are open at a time, they clearly could've saved some money and space to put more clothing, but hey it's working somehow! Pretty noice, I'll come here again, whenever they decide to get more clothes for me look at. read more

CHEAP clothes that are also pretty fashionable. I don't how they do it, but I'll keep coming here for sure.

I love this place! Because its trendy, cheap stuff, I go to Primark for the basics: camisoles, tanks, socks (those always seem to disappear), undies, pillows, etc. Every once in a while, You can find a real diamond in the rough--i,e: I found a really nice vest that is still sharp and keeps me warm after 2 years! Otherwise, don't expect the stuff to last longer than a year. It's also been a helpful place as I'm aiming to lose lots of weight (well, my mind is telling me its going down...but my body is probably telling me the opposite) so I can get the on-trend clothes without worrying too much about the price-point as I transition dress sizes. read more

This place is truly a spiritual experience. If I remember correctly it has four floors, completely equipped with both elevators and escalators. I made Primark a priority stop on my trip to Boston after hearing the raves about it from many British bloggers. This place is absolutely worth the stop! I purchased about 6 clothing items and my total was less than $30. This included jeans, a hoodie, a bathing suit, tshirts, and more. Everything here is a basic item, which is great to stock up on every day clothing. Everything is also stocked to the gills, so you won't have an issue finding your size or a size for everyone in the city of Boston. I gotta say, it is a very stressful environment, and people are everywhere just throwing things around like it's Black Friday. But that's the magic of Primark! read more

Great store, great variety. The clothes are cheap yet classy and the colors are very sober. Amazing selection for women and men, you gotta pick up stuff quick before the sizes sell off! The selection beats H&M and forever 21 read more

I really love their stuff ,it's not top notch quality but what do you expect with the prices ,I can't help but spend at least an hour there ,like a kid in a candy store. read more

I normally shop at old navy, the gap, uniqulo etc. for my 14 year old son and while I work around the corner from Primark, last week was the first time I'd ever been in. And here's the big difference for me between Primark and other similar large department stores: they help you! I was helped with sizes, styles and given helpful suggestions by a lovely, professional young man named Barnes. I hope Primark treats its employees as well as they treat your customers. I'll definitely be back. read more

Great store for the price point! Basically the Irish Forever 21, in both price and quality. Don't expect what you buy here to last you a lifetime but everything fits the bill for casual trendy clothing you will probably toss after one or two seasons. The men's section here is much better than H&M and F21. Try to come here during the off hours (aka lunch time and between 3-7pm) since it is right next to all the office buildings in the financial district. (Definitely guilty of shopping here during my lunch break since I work down the street.) Lines can get long but they move relatively fast. read more

Super clean, super cheap, what's not to love! The sizing across products can be very inconsistent so you definitely need to be patient while you try on but I love their jeans! I've been missing primark since I was in London two years ago so I'm very excited they're expanding to the US read more

This place is a gold mine. It's amazing to enjoy fashion for such reasonable prices. Love it! Love it! Love it!

Went here for the first time on Saturday, and it was okay. This store is Not Plus Size Friendly, at all. Their biggest size is 16 for tops, I didn't even bother looking at pants. I managed to find some cardigans I really liked, we'll see how long they last. I bought candles, socks, and jewelry as well there, and those were very good value. Also the woman at the register put all of my candles and heavier items in one bag, rather than split them between 2 bags evenly. Like really? That's bagging 101. I rearranged everything there in the store before leaving. read more

Meh. Lots of choices and merch but all cheaply made. It isn't worth a trip into Boston for me to go here. I guess if you live downtown then it's a good place to buy super cheap clothing. Shoes were lower than Target quality. $3 t-shirts, huge store takes a long time to go through. Overwhelming. read more

Bad return policy. I was one day over the 30 days. Purchase was for a gift for a child. Parent did not give it back to exchange i. Size until the week return policy expired (30 days). They could not refund to credit card, could not offer store credit, and could not exchange for a different size. The store still had a rack full of the item at the same retail price. The store unfortunately lost a frequent customer. read more

Terrible return policy. I tried to return a windbreaker and was told that it was beyond the 28 day return window. I asked for store credit instead of cash back and they told me they don't have store credit. I did try to return it about a week after I bought it, but went during my lunch break and the lines were so long that I didn't have time (especially since returns are on the fourth floor so you have to navigate up there). read more

I'm originally from Ireland but living in boston 20+ years. When I go home to visit, I come back with a case load of Penny's (named Primark here) stuff! I'm so excited to have this incredible store right on my doorstep! You're not buying for quality people! It's so inexpensive that you're happy to get a few wears out of it & call it a day! It looks great for as long as it lasts & mimicks high street fashion which is expensive! I particularly love it for my kids who grow so fast out of their clothes & shoes anyway that it's never worth spending a fortune on their stuff! Pajamas are so comfy here & I love getting bits here as Christmas gifts (especially pajamas & cute home wear). Love love! Headed in tomorrow to get winter coats for the kids! read more

I really like this place. However I can not wear the shirts or any tops they irritate my face to an extreme. And I just found out their employees don't get a discount and work min wage. This company is coming a long way and I think they can afford to give their employees a discount read more

Huge 4 floor store offering the latest fashion designs and trends - Nothing in Downtown Boston comes close to Primark

This is an awesome store with amazing deals! Definitely worth the raves that people give this place. The store is huge and has tons of people, I have never gone here when it is not busy. As busy as it is, the lines are never too long when checking out. I am always in and out. They have a good number of people at the checkouts on each floor to the number of shoppers in the store. read more

Primark gets a soild 3 stars. Everything you hear about the staff is completely true. They are rude, indifferent, and honestly, work in a place that most likely is sucking out their soul, very very slowly. The quality of merchandise varies depending on what you are looking for. A lot of items are ridiculously trendy. I'm not really into this hybrid punk 90s'/flower child 70's look that seems to be going around these days, so I haven't really found a lot of things that I would wear, lately. However, Primark is fantastic for basics, especially for fall and winter. Solid colored tees, (long or short sleeved), tank tops (I wear tanks under EVERYTHING, and Primark has these super long ones that cover the bum!), cardigans, leggings, tights, and knee socks have been decent buys. I found a couple of cute dresses and skirts by chance, and the flats have been added to my rotation of shoes. The home section is also hit and miss. The "decorative" section can use some sprucing, but need a shower curtain or a towel? I haven't had a problem with mine. I think the best "deal" I found was the memory foam body pillows for $12. I had been looking for one of these for ages, and have always balked at such high prices elsewhere. Maybe I don't know any better, but I slept better after buying the one at Primark, and have since purchased 2 more. Primark has incredible licensing deals with companies I would not have expected. I am both a graphic tee AND a sock enthusiast, so finding Disney tees and Minion socks was exciting. Don't go in expecting to find anything. It can get overwhelming with the music and the bright lights, so find a time when it might less crowded, like when they first open on a Sunday. oh, and ignore the zombie staff read more

Really cool clothes with affordable prices and also free wifi and paper bags. Love this shop!

I don't understand why this place is popular. Every time I come in here I am totally perplexed and can never figure it out. Everything sold here is made from plastic. The place smells like a chemical factory and to top it off it occupies 4 floors of a very nice building in center of downtown. I used to go to the children's department to buy cheap hair accessories but now they switched the escalators so when you get through one set you have to walk around the entire floor to get to the second set of escalators and the children's department is on the 4th floor. I miss H&M. read more
