Loved getting to shop in store at Aritzia. The spring color choices and displays were so pretty. Found some cute pieces I had to purchase. The employees were incredibly helpful and set up a room for me almost instantly. They helped me when I needed a different size and discussed the item choices with me. I didn't love the dressing rooms having no mirrors inside the actual private room requiring you to go outside into a communal dressing room to view the look in the mirror. Definitely not my preference but that's how it is there. The sizing choices in the store were not very friendly to my size. Some items do run big but the majority of sizes I saw in store were on the smaller size. I loved the items I purchased and wish we had a store close to home. I usually shop Aritzia online and I remembered why. The dressing rooms have no mirrors, so you have to walk out to a lineup of bored boyfriends and husbands camped out in the seating area. The associates in the fitting rooms hustle hard, but I also felt judged while trying things on, which made the whole experience even more uncomfortable. Out on the floor, staff didn't seem to want to be bothered (to be fair, it was a hot day and they probably didn't want to be at work). While I already know from online shopping that Aritzia is expensive for polyester, this review is strictly about the in-store experience. The store itself was messy and it felt impossible to find what I was looking for. Between the lack of mirrors, the awkward audience, and the lack of help, I'll stick to shopping online where at least my living room doubles as a private fitting room. read more

The Aritzia in Prudential is one of my favorite stores to shop at. I wish they would open more in MA! Okay, so Aritzia can be a bit pricey BUT the quality of their clothing is WORTH the price tag... seriously. I used to think that buying $90 sweatpants, along with a matching $80-90 hoodie was insane. Of course, since then I have been influenced haha. The matching sweats is worth it though. Very soft material, doesn't pill, color does not fade (well haven't seen fading occur yet) with the black color, and very thick!!! Highly recommend the cozy fleece mega cargo sweatpants. I also love their athleisure line! Very comfortable and not bad prices. They've got very nice formal and casual options for apparel too. Pro tip: Sale section is worth checking out! Located in the Prudential Center, right off the escalator. This store is awesome and my daughter's favorite! Brought her here to purchase an outfit to wear for her birthday dinner at Beacon. She loved this! Staff was so accommodating with allowing her to try on the clothes then have me purchase and her change while there. Staff is always friendly at this store, no matter what mall we visit it at. The store is appealing on the senses and also the fitting room area is pretty. Although we do hate the fact that there are no mirrors in the actual fitting rooms, the mirrors are out in the open fitting area where folks are waiting. read more

I had a good experience with the associates However, the supper puff lacks down on the sleeves. I exchanged the first one I bought for the exact same puffer and have the same problem. I thought it was me, but I asked two ladies at Whole Foods who were wearing the same supper puff and expressed their discontent with cold arms. One of them said: "horrible, we are freezing." So be aware. Your torso might be warm but your arms will be cold. And if you live in Boston and walk around you know how cold it has been lately and it's only January. As I was trying to shop, I couldn't help but overhear the manager, I think her name is Vanessa, yelling at her employees. The overall employee vibe was down and you could tell she was affecting the work environment negatively. Staff were very attentive while I was browsing and were able to put things in the dressing room while I kept shopping. The attendants in the dressing room were hard to get a hold of to request a different size. The line to checkout went by very fast as every register was open. This company is a total scam. First quality of items is sub par, prices are very high. Everything is made in China for the most part. If you cut up their jackets it's not down it's actually fake down from china. Now it gets better, any sale item ...well they don't do refunds. Basically you get merchandise credit to use. Why is this a scam (1) they are counting on people losing or dislocating email with credit (2) they are not issuing refund! Also, all returns have to be done within 14 days of purchase. Worst! Now let me tell you about the girls who work the registers here (1) rude (2) rude (3) rude. Crowd is sub par. Fitting room people are very entitled and rude as well. I frequent this Aritzia store, and I normally have a pleasant or unnotable experience. Even when the store is super busy and crowded I would often get met with the highest quality of customer service. However, just two weeks ago, this was not the case. It was a Thursday evening, about three hours before close, when I walked into this Aritzia store in dire need of business casual attire. Immediately, my friend and I were met with three employees hooting and hollering in the entryway to the dressing rooms. Their conversation was clear as day, even though we were only just in the front of the store. Then, it took a while for us to be greeted and helped by an employee. My friend and I go through the store, picking out many pieces, and not a single employee had asked to start a fitting room for us, or even if we needed help, etc. Which is unusual, I feel like other times the employees here are on top of you (in a good way) to hold your hand throughout your shopping experience. Then, finally we get to our dressing room with many, many items. NOT ONCE did we get asked a.) how everything was going or b.) if we needed help with sizes, once again, strange for Aritzia. MEANWHILE literally all but 2 of my friends and I's collective 23 items had to be exchanged for different sizes. So, we had to take turns hunting down new sizes in the store. When it was my turn to browse the store and for my friend to watch our dressing rooms, she overheard the workers talking. They were profiling the people in the dressing rooms, including me. They said my name, what I was wearing, and then did some hand motion about my hair?? My friend was sitting there watching this all happen. Meanwhile, I am running through the store, trying to find my new sizes and THE SAME three loud workers from before were in a new section of the store STILL TALKING VERY LOUDLY. Once we have all the correct sizes and have tried everything on, we do once last perusal of the store. We were next to where the phone is and it KEPT RINGING omg like genuinely while we were in that section it rang like 5 times. All different phone calls. I'm not worried about them answering the phone as much as HOW ANNOYING IT WAS. FINALLY, we were doing one last walk around to make sure we had everything we wanted, I had 10 items in my hands. It was very heavy but no employee had offered to take it and hold it or anything. I turn and the hanger from something in my hands knocked an item of clothing onto the floor, clearly i was struggling. THE SAME TIME THIS WAS HAPPENING, an employee walked right past and just looked down and scoffed at me. Didn't offer to help me because once again I have SO MANY THINGS IN MY HANDS. I almost like didn't want to give them my money, because to be honest 10 things at Aritzia is a prettyyyy pennyyyy.. but the sales associate who was helping me from time to time and eventually took all the things from my hands was lovely and I loved her so she made it ok. But genuinely this was insane. I know how this Aritzia prides themselves on being the flagship store and how their employees are supposed to be there for you throughout your shopping experience, but none of that was upheld here. read more

I shop regularly online at Aritzia, and despite the hit-or-miss quality still love some of their coats and jackets. But this is the last time I intend on making a purchase in store because of my negative experience with some of the salespeople there. I went in last weekend to buy a puffer jacket and had an incredibly kind and helpful sales associate pull one in the correct size from the back for me. But before I made it to the cashier, a second sales associate who had previously ignored me -- Bridget Shurdut -- immediately swooped in and badgered me into giving her the jacket so it would be at the counter when I checked out. I didn't understand why until the cashier clearly rang the purchase up under her name for commission. Even though I explicitly asked the cashier to make sure the first, actually helpful, associate got credit for the sale, she kept Bridget's name attached to the sale. I don't spend the kind of money I spend at Aritzia to watch rude people swipe credit from their coworkers. It put a sour taste in my mouth and I won't be shopping in person at this location again. read more

The staff wasn't helpful in the changing rooms, and so many men were sitting to watch their wives or girlfriends on the couches, making it super uncomfortable (in my opinion) to go out and look at your outfit in the mirror. Lastly the curtain was pulled while I was undressed causing me to feel so uncomfortable in there. I do NOT recommend going to this location. read more

I recently ordered pants online because they didn't have my size in the store. It was on sale but at no point when I was checking out did it indicate that the standard return policy wouldn't apply. When I received the items they fit oddly so I decided to return them. Turns out, any item on sale - even if it's something they always carry and is in a color that's part of their core collection - is only returnable for store credit. This feels like a scam seeing as they've been selling their effortless pants for years and will undoubtedly be doing so for many more years. Well they've certainly lost a customer here. I would not have purchased these if I'd know there was a chance I wouldn't be able to return them if they didn't fit. I always check as I checkout to make sure there are no final sale notices and nothing came up. It feels exploitative and especially from a company that doesn't need to be that way and can definitely afford to put customer service first. read more

I was looking forward to going to Aritzia all week long, and unfortunately I walked away completely underwhelmed and disappointed. The staff was BEYOND friendly, and helpful so I have no complaints in that regard. I was assisted, greeted, and was consistently taken care of throughout the visit. As I started to try things on, however, I was becoming more and more dissatisfied with the quality of the clothing, especially because most pieces of clothing are very expensive. Not only was I so underwhelmed by the clothing, but the communal dressing room was honestly a nightmare. As someone who struggles with body image, going out and looking in a mirror in front of so many size 00 (nothing against anyone who is double 0) women made me not want to try on clothing. Not to mention, a man came into the dressing room and said to his wife: "Honey, where are you, should I just start pulling back random curtains to find you?" and then also asked her out loud if she was wearing underwear. I was so turned off to the idea of going outside the dressing room and looking at myself in the mirror. Sad to say, but I won't be shopping at Aritizia online or in person, ever again. read more

Also, half of staff members are busy chatting. I think they have too many people working there. I see only few people are really doing their work. Amazing service today. My 18 yr old daughter is a fan of the brand and I've been slowly picking up pieces for myself here and there. We each had a salesperson help us. Mine was named Maddie and she was fantastic, very welcome and helpful. My daughter also had a great salesperson ( unfortunately she didn't remember her name). One of my favorite clothing stores in the Back Bay. The clothing is trendy, high quality, and a lot of the fabrics are ultra soft. A little pricey, but not unusual for the area. The staff is always welcoming and give regulars the VIP treatment, which is a nice touch to the overall shopping experience. In terms of improvements, I'd suggest the store add mirrors to each dressing room, rather than having mirrors in the common areas only, as this makes some women uncomfortable. Further, promotions, Pru cardholder discounts, and a lengthier return policy would be much appreciated. read more

I'd be rather wary to visit this location. I had an extremely negative experience at this location, specifically with the associate Amber. I was browsing around and when asked if looking for anything in particular, I said yes, I was looking for biker shorts. Amber told me they have a few sizes in store but that she could always order them. I didn't think anything about it and continued to browse around. I was holding two dresses but later decided, I didn't want them. I put them back and started to walk out. While walking out, I hear Amber and her co-worker snicker and point to my fiance and I about how we were leaving empty handed. Amber proceeded to yell out the store at us stating, "Okay bye then!" as if I owed this woman anything. I've purchased a few items from their store and have never felt more humiliated and disgusted before. I will not be returning to this location again. read more

Aritzia is a boutique shop that carries several brands. Their clothing options are abundant and can fit a variety of different occasions. I've walked past this store many times, but never really found the need to venture in. The first time I walked in, I thought the clothes were super cute​... but way too pricey​! After many unsuccessful attempts at​ shopping for dress pants that ACTUALLY fit me, I decided to stop by here again to browse around, seriously this time. There were several dress pants options, but the lowest-priced one came from a brand called Sunday Best. A sales associate asked if I'd like to leave my clothing selections by the dressing room while I continued browsing. I was a bit surprised at first, but then I realized it was because the store had virtually no shopping baskets! The dressing rooms were super grand. Heavy, lush curtains with a bird print pattern created the division between private and public. An artsy light fixture dangled from the ceiling. The dressing room itself didn't have a mirror so you had to step out in the middle of the room to view yourself, which I thought was a bit inconvenient (I'm a little shy when I'm around lots of people), but it was okay! I tried on a pair of grey dress pants called Ziggy from the brand Sunday Best. They fit PERFECTLY. I was seriously shocked. All the other dress pants I've tried in other stores were either too long, too large, or too baggy for me- even the ones targeted for petite individuals. The waist was fitted snugly and the fabric felt soft against my legs. I'm 5'0, and the pants legs stopped right above my ankle!!! I was very pleased. The sales associate at the register was super nice and struck up a conversation when we encountered a brief technical difficulty. They wrap your purchase with tissue and put it in an artsy, sturdy looking shopping bag. I won't shop here frequently because of the price points of their clothing, but if you're a petite individual looking for dress pants that **actually** fit you, or just a fashionista looking for innovative and cool attire with a range of sizes, definitely give this place a try. read more

Beautiful store with nice clothes, not unlike many others in the Back Bay neighborhood. The prices are quite high, again not unlike many other stores. The fashion of the clothes seemed quite plain to me personally. I went shopping with a friend after at Forever 21 on Newbury Street and found many pieces that looked like they could've been hanging on a rack in Aritzia (except that most at F21 were under $20). I didn't notice any particular distinctive style about the clothes at Aritzia, which may be because they carry multiple brands rather than just one. I think women of many ages could shop here. Overall a beautiful store with overpriced clothes makes me feel like this store would be best if you're looking for a more boutique type store (even though it's a chain). 3/5 read more

A brand with a modern style and great design - I personally love their design aesthetic and color scheme. This is the first store in Boston, set up in a beautiful space in Prudential center. I'm so excited to have them closer to home, although I might still shop online - their clothes come in a box, wrapped in beautiful printed paper - I was impressed when I first got my package! I was helped by one girl (wish I remembered her name), who helped me search for the right tank top I was looking for and choosing my correct size. Shocked by the staff here. My friend that is a frequent shopper there asked to use the restroom. They told her that they do not have a bathroom. She showed them her medical card and they told her to go to L&T. This really shocks me and I'm disappointed that any one would do that. I think their clothes are expensive and not worth it. 5 stars for the clothes and the fantastic floor staff who helped me and my mom out this past Saturday. 1 star for the horrendous experience I had with one of the women from the Corporate office who we had a bad encounter with. Thus I am compelled to give this place 1 star because their corporate team needs to get their sh*t together. Let me set the scene.. I live in San Francisco I don't see my family often.. so when I do I make the most of it. Me and my mom made a special mother-daughter drive into Boston this past Saturday to go to Aritzia. We spent at least 2 hours in your store, pulling beautiful clothes off the racks and trying things on. I was super impressed with the attentiveness and the customer service that your floor staff provided to us, especially in the dressing room. Your store was busy, but I would have never known it because all of the ladies working at Aritzia were SURE to attend to us. They were constantly asking if we were ok and bringing us different clothing options and sizes. As we were trying things on my mom asked one of the ladies in the fitting room if they would hold our stuff for us because we had other shopping to do at the mall (we would pay for everything first), and also if she cold keep her new 100% silk dress on a hanger. The request to which one of the staff said "No problem, just ask for CP at the cashier". I would come to later find, CP or Caroline, was a manager from the corporate office. Needless to say, I was on a shopping high, enjoying time with my mom! I was excited because we both found a ton of items we loved and took up to the cash wrap to buy. Our items totaled just under $700, quite a significant amount to spend in one trip. CP (Caroline) was ringing us up. "If it's ok, we will pay for everything and then come back and get the items", we requested. "No problem" Caroline replied. My mom went on to make a further request, "If you don't mind, could we please keep my new dress on a hanger so it doesn't get wrinkly". Now this is where the trouble started. Caroline, or CP went on to state how she "can't do that because they cannot give hangers out". She went on to explain her reasoning and excuses for why they can't give us a hanger. She literally spent 10 minutes arguing and explaining to us why she couldn't give us a hanger. I was shocked. Wait a minute, myself and my mother have made this request before and not one store has ever told me no. Here we are about to drop $700 at your store and YOUR MANAGER FROM CORPORATE is telling is that she can't give us 1 measly hanger to keep a dress on? Now here is my issue, this kind of reasoning has to come from corporate. If the corporate office communicates to employees that CUSTOMER SERVICE trumps everything... that is what should matter. Does a hanger that probably cost you 10 cents really matter to you that much? I have to say that Caroline and this experience did put a damper in our perception of Aritzia. My mom was almost ready to say "Forget everything". Can you imagine losing a $700 sale over one measly hanger? Finally Caroline gave us a hanger but she made us feel like we were making some ridiculous request.. it was actually quite embarrassing and I felt bad for my mom. I could have easily gone to Neiman's, Saks or Nordstrom, purchased similar items and had a much different encounter. This makes me really sad because I do love your clothes but it seems like client service is not a top priority for you. Can you help explain to me why this happened? read more

Really!! 14 days from shipped date gets you a store credit!!Not your money.... Not the day you get it, or the day you give it as a present, but the day you receive an email.
