I was interested in purchasing a hat for my husband and asked if they had a new one outback (instead of the display) the cashier replied "we don't have any new ones, but I can get you one from outback" um ok, isn't that the same thing?? Then when I went to pay cash, she told me it had to be exact or else she couldn't take it. You don't take cash during the holiday season?? she didn't apologize or offer a potential solution (like try to find two fives from the staff, you know think outside of the box) I just left.

Came into this Seaport location recently to make an exchange for a pair of leggings I had purchased from the Chestnut Hill store. LUCKILY, the Alo app is pretty accurate, which stated that Alo Seaport had the size I needed, & I was able to have a successful exchange that day! Very quick & easy exchange, so no complaints here. Parking: good luck! Sometimes there's meter street parking available but I usually just park in a garage to avoid the hassle of driving around in circles.

Glad they have men's section though because tho we like other brands in this space too, they don't have men's.

Taylor was our HERO today. We went to the Boston Children's Museum today and our 3 year old had…read morenot one, but two accident in quick succession. Needless to say for a kid that has never really had an accident, this was going to ruin our day. Can you imagine a children's museum that doesn't have a gift shop. Worse yet, there really weren't any places we could get stuff to get him cleaned up. My wife yelped for Kid's clothing and LL Bean turned up not too far away. We walked over not sure if we would find anything. Taylor welcomed us and asked us how our day was going. I shared our situation while my wife rolled her eyes at me. I mean why skimp on details when you need an outfit fast and the sizing isn't what uou are used. Taylor found us several options of shirts. My son chose the purple t-shirt. She went back and found more pant sizes. He left in a pair of blue waterproof pants to go with his purple shirt. Taylor even told us that oddly thus happens and we aren't the first family looking for kids clothing after visiting the museum. Alas they don't sell underwear but it slvaged our afternoon and was enough to get him down for a nap. I consider that a WIN with a capital W. My wife found some traveling clothing as well because whe wanted to support the store as well. I really wanted to buy stuff as well but I run way too hot and it is September. The summer stuff is gone but there is always their website.

There are probably eco-friendly things here you didn't even know you needed. It's great to be able to bring my empty glass jars or use theirs to get your refills. It's a simple & easy way to get whatever items you need, like body lotion, detergent, & other products. They also have an abundance of plants which is pretty cool. They even do a clothing swap & other events too, so you have to follow them to know when they're happening. The issue is that they're not always open when they're supposed to be which is unfortunate.

More bonuses: they are walking distance from the orange line, they said I can bring back empty containers and buy refills, and their plant nursery section is nice. They are a bit pricey, as should be expected with ethically sourced products, not to mention storefronts that pay rent in the North End. Most of what I bought will hopefully last long enough to more than pay for itself. I'll be back!
