But no! It's a carefully curated collection of French, German, and Danish designers. From dip dyed tshirt dresses to sleek white blazers to cool girl jeans, they've got a little bit of everything. Prices are in line with what'd you expect from a boutique in Beacon Hill selling obscure designer brands, in the neighborhood of $200/blouse. Expensive? Yes. But not out of line with comps and their stuff is all really unique. They also have a gorgeous collection of home goods (I want all the gold ceramic bowls!), the cutest tiny leather purses in all colors and finishes, and a ton of jewelry. And candles. When they arrived, they were wrinkled out of the box and the cut below the knee was oddly baggy and flared. The hems were uneven and the sewing looked amateur, not what I expect at this price point. Although the pants technically "fit," they made me look frumpy below the knee and were not at the level of my usual professional wear. This did not improve with a trip to the dry cleaner and a pressed crease. The marketing that these are business attire you can travel in felt misleading, because the fabric wrinkled easily. The underlying issue was poor construction, not just temporary wrinkling. The most frustrating part was the return policy. By the time the delayed shipment arrived and I had a chance to assess the quality, the purchase was already outside their 30‑day return window, and customer service refused a return. In other words, the shipping delay effectively wiped out my ability to return a clearly unsatisfactory product. Given the combination of slow fulfillment, disappointing quality, and rigid handling of the return window, I would not purchase from Ministry of Supply again and would urge others to be very cautious about the quality and to watch the return timeline closely.

This store is fairly new and sells women's wear that's more dressy, higher quality and higher priced than Lipstick. The clothes here are beautiful with some being a bit more daring and unique. Great place to find a great party dress for an event or splurge on a really nice dress just 'cause. The price range for most of the dresses averaged around $120 but honestly, the qualify of the fabric is commensurate with the price. The dresses I bought were lined and had a good weight to them. Most were also European brands and like the sister store, the sizes do run a tad smaller and there isn't much for larger sizes. This boutique is more spacious and decorated like a proper boutique. Staff interchange between Lipstick and Lure so you get the same wonderful and knowledgable staff at both stores. I loved this place and will definitely come back!!!
