Very friendly and helpful. Eric taught me how to tie a bow tie right before a wedding. Very convenient location too!

My search for a fedora ended here. They had quality hats and the sales staff was pleasant and helpful.

For sure overpriced but sometimes you can get a bargain at the sale rack. Like many reviewers…read morealready said, the prices for some of these things are a little cray- no name brands for 250 made from a polyester blend? Peaaceee! Though if you're into Nanette, Milly, or Tibi you'll most likely enjoy Mint Julep- they really do have some great dresses if you're willing to put out the $$. I'm giving it an extra star due to the atmosphere- while small, I think the store is adorable. Honestly, this is the store that got me more into boutique shopping- which is something I never really did before. The place is organized well and somehow they manage to fit everything comfortably in their rather small space. It's definitely cute and I like the vibe shopping here. The baskets on the floor are cool too- you can find some pretty nice tops in there for a more reasonable price tag if you look. I came across a really nice three dot top that's definitely making its round of appearances since I bought it here. Also, they sell Spanx and premium denim!

Went into the store because it looked cute from the outside. the sales lady behind the desk asked…read moreif I was looking for anything in particular. I said I was browsing. Then she immediately told me I had to leave my tote bag by the side of the desk (out in the open.) I didn't want to do that because A I had just bought a new jacket across the street, which was in the tote bag. And B there's no way I am leaving my tote bag out in the open like that for someone to steal it the minute the sales person leaves the desk. Also treating your customers, the minute they walk in the door, like a criminal simply because they are holding a tote bag, which hello most people do today instead of using in store paper bags is not good customer service to say the least. And then telling them to just leave the tote bag sitting in the open unsecured is crazy. Would they pay for my new coat if someone stole it? I get that shoplifting is a problem but treating a potential customer with this broad brush approach isn't the solution. I've gone to many shops and stores and never encountered this policy. I may have bought something in there but I was so turned off by this rude and condescending approach that I just left. MUJI across the street never once asked me to leave my tote bag because they were afraid I might steal something. They were all super friendly and nice and even let me bring my tote bag in the dressing room after counting the number of items I was bringing in.

Monella is an awesome place. Reading the reviews below I'm shocked. As far as watching people it's…read moresomething a lot of merchants do in Harvard because theft is high in this area (I'd know I worked in the area) I'm sorry to say but you college students should look to your peers who made it uncomfortable for you because their sticky fingers are outrageous. But anyways... This place is really clean and I love the staff there the owner is always present there. He's a nice guy and very funny (btw he's the older seasoned man). If you want someone to help style you Lucii is a doll and will do her best to help you if you're open to try new things ( or even if your more reserved ). Nicole is also really kind. It is a bit pricey but they always have sales. Ladies with size 9 feet and up this may be a gem for you because they are usually stocked in our sizes. They carry a lot of fun pieces that are fabulous! This shop is literally by Havard station on Brattle st. I think you should go and form your own opinion these reviews are old as blue cheese. Happy shopping ladies !!!

Jasmine Sola was overrated anyway. Meet Monella, its replacement in Harvard Square. Hats off to…read morethese guys for making use of their space and actually stocking it with clothes. Four stars for what they are: a reseller of moderately priced designer apparel. I was impressed to see some decent brands like Velvet and James Perse, and found the balance of solid separates to fluffy-collared dresses to be about right. The selection looks hit or miss but I can see myself walking away from this place with some good pieces every now and then. The no returns thing sealed the deal on my new black cardigan sweater dress thing: looks like we're stuck with each other! Meh.
