Then she immediately told me I had to leave my tote bag by the side of the desk (out in the open.) I didn't want to do that because A I had just bought a new jacket across the street, which was in the tote bag. And B there's no way I am leaving my tote bag out in the open like that for someone to steal it the minute the sales person leaves the desk. Also treating your customers, the minute they walk in the door, like a criminal simply because they are holding a tote bag, which hello most people do today instead of using in store paper bags is not good customer service to say the least. And then telling them to just leave the tote bag sitting in the open unsecured is crazy. Would they pay for my new coat if someone stole it? I get that shoplifting is a problem but treating a potential customer with this broad brush approach isn't the solution. I've gone to many shops and stores and never encountered this policy. I may have bought something in there but I was so turned off by this rude and condescending approach that I just left. MUJI across the street never once asked me to leave my tote bag because they were afraid I might steal something. They were all super friendly and nice and even let me bring my tote bag in the dressing room after counting the number of items I was bringing in.

I think that's why I enjoy thrift store shopping so much. But LF's prices are something I don't agree with. Simple dresses which you could easily find at H&M or Forever 21 - are priced at around 100-200 dollars. Same quality as well. That being said, I love my boots, belts and short dresses, and LF carries a plethora of sexy brown leather knee high boots, that make me yearn to pair them with a short knit dress and big belt - and strut my stuff.

Two floors, one of the largest selections of clothes, and one of the larger sale sections I've seen at Gap in a minuteeee. I love that the owner travels to places like Chiapas, Mexico to meet the weavers and pay them fairly for their beautiful goods. The prices are excellent. The salespeople could not be lovelier or more helpful. I've been stopping by so much, they say, "See you tomorrow."
