Loved my experience here! I'm a regular at Buffalo Exchange, and I think Raspberry Beret has some higher quality items as well as more vintage finds -- all at great prices! I remember the store being closer to Porter, and now at its new location down Mass Ave closer to Arlington, it's easily accessible by bus and a short walk from Davis. There are two floors, and the clothing & jewelry pieces seem well-curated. The space isn't as overwhelming as other secondhand/consignment stores like the Garment District. It's a manageable, enjoyable shopping experience, and the employee working that day was friendly and helpful. When she saw me with some items in hand, she asked if I'd like to start a fitting room and took them from me. More mobility means more shopping! I lucked out because on the day I discovered them, they were having a sale! All items were 30% off, with winter coats and hats/scarves more heavily discounted. Considering that items are generally priced 1/3 lower than their original price, these discounts made them even more affordable. Which meant I could buy more! I definitely plan to be back, as new items are constantly added and after a month, items are discounted. This is a great place to find cool items to add to your wardrobe while still being sustainable and cost-conscious... as well as shopping local!

She wore a RAAAAAAAAAAAASPBERRY BERET! Love the Prince reference... and it all comes together for me because I recently purchased a vintage fuchsia and purple dirndl here. Come on, Yelp -- how fortuitous that I (a person of German heritage whose parents used to dress her in Austrian dirndls for fun -- see photo) would be walking down Mass Ave. one blustery Saturday afternoon, only to find a vintage purple dirndl out front that fits me like a glove?! Makes me wanna sing.

Not a lot of men suits. It's good if you're a woman since the selection is better. The sales person was nice.

Great well curated selection of used clothing including vintage. The window displays are always so fun & creative. Really welcoming place.

Located in Harvard Sq., they seem to be a pretty busy spot. Parking wasn't hard to find in this area on a Sunday. Upon entering, we were greeting by one of the workers. There was a clearance rack that they placed outside next to the entrance. Once you walk down the stairs, to your right is where most of the clothes are. Solid selection of denim & leather jackets, a little pricey compared to Goodwill/Savers but makes sense because they are more of a "vintage" clothing store. To the left of the stairs is where they have denim jeans & where you go to check out once you're finish with browsing. All sales are final like most thrift/vintage second hand shops. I found this denim jack with a brown leather collar today for $60. Thick & good quality. Lots of Wilsons leather jackets here. They also have a room with bins of clothes, for a low price, you can look through. I didn't have much luck with the bins, but seems like a lot of people did! Highly recommend.

Feels: I'm not too familiar with Boston, but I was told this is one of the original areas of the city. There are lots of businesses and apartments nearby, so the neighborhood feels lively. The shop itself is pretty vibrant and spans two floors. They carry a wide range of apparel--from vintage pieces to newer items and even costumes. Customer Service: Awesome. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Overall: 5 stars. They had exactly what I needed, right when I needed it. If you're looking to refresh your wardrobe on a budget or find some unique costume pieces, this is definitely a spot worth checking out. Tip: Check out their "by the pound" section--you can score some really great deals there.

Yo....Garment District in Cambridge, MA completely flipped the script on me. Why was I expecting…read morethe whole 2 floors to look like a damn thrift dungeon with clothes on the floor??? Instead, Garment D. Is Organized, spotless and straight-up vibey. Two full floors to roam. Hot-pink walls, black-and-white checkerboard floors like stepping into an 80s music video. It's quirky, loud and proudly vintage. Everything's sorted with precision: pants with pants, denim with denim, tops with tops. These folks don't play around. And yeah, the majority of the clothing here is all use. But like I always do- I buy my stuff, take it home (or the cleaners), wash it and it snaps back looking like new. By the way- they do carry some new items- as in not used as well. My daughter and I bought some vintage denims, sweaters and a few other things. Zero mess. Zero stress. 100% unexpected.
