Loved my experience here! I'm a regular at Buffalo Exchange, and I think Raspberry Beret has some higher quality items as well as more vintage finds -- all at great prices! I remember the store being closer to Porter, and now at its new location down Mass Ave closer to Arlington, it's easily accessible by bus and a short walk from Davis. There are two floors, and the clothing & jewelry pieces seem well-curated. The space isn't as overwhelming as other secondhand/consignment stores like the Garment District. It's a manageable, enjoyable shopping experience, and the employee working that day was friendly and helpful. When she saw me with some items in hand, she asked if I'd like to start a fitting room and took them from me. More mobility means more shopping! I lucked out because on the day I discovered them, they were having a sale! All items were 30% off, with winter coats and hats/scarves more heavily discounted. Considering that items are generally priced 1/3 lower than their original price, these discounts made them even more affordable. Which meant I could buy more! I definitely plan to be back, as new items are constantly added and after a month, items are discounted. This is a great place to find cool items to add to your wardrobe while still being sustainable and cost-conscious... as well as shopping local!

She wore a RAAAAAAAAAAAASPBERRY BERET! Love the Prince reference... and it all comes together for me because I recently purchased a vintage fuchsia and purple dirndl here. Come on, Yelp -- how fortuitous that I (a person of German heritage whose parents used to dress her in Austrian dirndls for fun -- see photo) would be walking down Mass Ave. one blustery Saturday afternoon, only to find a vintage purple dirndl out front that fits me like a glove?! Makes me wanna sing.

Not a lot of men suits. It's good if you're a woman since the selection is better. The sales person was nice.

Great well curated selection of used clothing including vintage. The window displays are always so fun & creative. Really welcoming place.

And I said "how much is a scarf, I looked at the ones on the other side of the floor and didn't see a tag." TBH, there was a tag, but no price on that tag. He reported with "there's a tag on every scarf." This is not a way to talk to a potential customer. I usually say "never say 'never'", but I will NEVER shop here. And also, if somebody's has less than five stars, the score is actually lower than shown because people give one star actually want to give new stars. I'm one of them.

I spied some really eye-catching pieces that would add immeasurably to the knock-out factor when dressing up. These are quality pieces with price tags to match. The day we visited was a busy one but the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating giving us plenty of time to try on a variety of jewelry items from the display cases. No hard sell, no impatience, just good, attentive service. My cousin ended up with a beautiful long silver necklace interspersed with slices of quartz throughout. I fell in love with some dramatic earrings (shown in one of the photos) but when I tried them on they felt too heavy for my ear lobes (one lobe ripped once from years of heavy earrings and had to be repaired by a plastic surgeon so I'm not going down that road again) so with a heavy heart I put those beauties back on the shelf. There is plenty to look at on two floors of space here. There are lots of things to examine and explore on shelves, counters, and behind glass cases all beautifully presented. You can also find a few other things besides jewelry like hand-made silk scarves and metal serving pieces. I thought some of the serving pieces would make an excellent hostess gift when traveling to stay with friends for example. Great place to browse and to find something for yourself or a very special someone else in your life.
