A cutie little consignment shop in Beacon Hill. They had good inventory and were reasonably priced. The store wasn't overly busy so you felt like you could move around and really shop. We were impressed by the brand selection. While only one of us found something to take home, if you are in the area you for sure have to stop in and see what they have. read more

Charles St has so many cute boutiques ! Today was my first time visiting Covet and they have so many cute things in here, though I didn't walk out with anything. I just walked in and did a quick scan inside. They have a bunch of different brands here ranging at different price points, from J Crew to Miu Miu & Chanel. I like the way they organized the clothes, reminds me of shops you would find in SoHo. All of the dresses, tops, and bags are towards the entrance, front of the store and pants, shoes, and alteration pick up/drop off is in the back of the store. They also offer gently used athleisure, including brands such as Lululemon, AloYoga, and more for decent prices. From just looking around and doing a quick scan of a few pieces, they seem to set the items at a reasonable price honestly. Consigning your clothes with Convet is a nice way to sell your clothes without having to bother with apps like Poshmark or Depop. I believe you can walk in any time from 11-3pm Mon-Fri with no more than 25 items (can bring more than 25 items if schedule an appt on the weekend). From there, they set the price for your item to sell & if it sells, you can get 40% of the profit & 50-60% for designer brands paid out via Venmo/check if balance is over $150 & cash if under the amount. Thought that was pretty interesting; definitely a cool consignment spot to check out. I would totally come back again to either consign my clothes or look for pieces to add to my closet! read more

What a gem. I'm so happy we stumbled upon this great little consignment shop in Beacon Hill! It is located just a few blocks north of Boston Commons on Charles Street along tons of other adorable stores and restaurants. When we arrived they were at capacity so we had to wait for a few minutes until a few customers left. No biggie. It's a small space and I appreciate them wanting to give everyone space to look around without being over-crowded. The store staff is so friendly. The space is clean. They have a great selection of everything from clothes to bags to shoes and it is actually organized by size/color so you can truly find what you want easily. I've been to dozens of consignment shops over the years and they are never as organized as Covet is. I will definitely be back any and every time I am in or near Boston! read more

This Covet location is a stone's throw away from the Charles/MGH stop on the Red Line. I was in the area and popped in on a whim and am SO glad I did. Covet is probably the best thrift/consignment store I've ever been to. Why, you ask? Because everything is neatly organized according to size, style and is color coded. All I have to do is shimmy over to the black clothes section and BAM - I've found a new piece of clothing to obsess over and add to my closet. Prices range from super cheap (like $12 for a romper) to department store prices ($60 for a name-brand dress). The store is clean and the dressing rooms are super cute. Other consignment retail shops smell like moth balls and have sad little changing rooms. Not Covet! Covet really elevates the thrift store shopping experience. Excellent experience every time: consigning, using online consignment tracking tools, shopping, browsing without buying, and asking questions live or over the phone. The staff are friendly, polite, and professional, even in way they return items they won't take for consigning... so different from many other consignment stores. It may be fun to shop there, but don't try to consign anything... I left a bag of things, almost all of it new with the tags still on, and they took none of it. They said it smelled like mothballs, needed to be dry-cleaned. I don't have any mothballs, and the stuff had mostly never been worn. I have no idea what they were smelling, but it wasn't from my bag. If they'd said the things were just not a good fit for the store, that would be fine. But don't lie to me. read more

I've been shopping at covet since winter 2018 - they are my go to place for anything I need weather it's a ZARA black leather dress for New Years or a new pair of madewell jeans that I now can't stop wearing. I know whenever I have an event, or just need cool new pieces for my wardrobe Covet Will have it. I love the Broadway southie location and the new Beacon hill on Charles street location. I am surprised at the rave reviews. Customer service is hit or miss. In terms of selection, I care about quality more than brands and the tops along the right wall in the back looked so worn that at times I wondered if I was at a donation center. Also, if you are a common size like 7 or 7.5 for shoes, forget about finding anything at all. I think the store "buyers" need to firstly drop the fake friendly demeanor and shoot for authenticity and then, visit Castanet to learn about curating for quality (brands aside). They need to truly focus on the quality state of a garment rather than on what *they* think it's "trendy" or cool. Readers, for the same price, one can get better quality and brand newness at Zara on Newbury St. The racks and racks of washed out, worn out tops, speak for themselves. Make room for good quality dresses and suits (yes suits, offices are opening up, think ahead, no one wants to wear lounge and lounge anymore). read more

i was in there shopping ... and there was a big cockroach on a shirt i picked up!! it used to be hard to get rid of roaches in the old days, but not anymore, so they are either not using an exterminator and or they are not checking the clothes good enough when they come in... when i told the lady , she acted like this was not the first time and was hardly shocked at all and she tried to shoosh me.......
