    Cacio de Pepe
    Kaitlyn F.

We came here and had a large group. They were able to accommodate us ahead of time with a reservation and we had a really nice table at the front of the restaurant which felt private. Service was very good and they kept checking in on us. We had a variety of different appetizers. My favorite one was the meatball. For entrée I had cacio de pepe, which was outstanding and one of my favorite things that I ate the whole trip that we were in Boston.

Lobster Fra Diavolo - A pasta dish with seafood and tomato sauce is served on a white plate at a restaurant table, with wine and cocktails in the background.

Good food. Absolutely loved my lobster fra diavolo. Pasta al dente. Perfect! Wife had small portion of seafood cioppino. Got doz oysters, good, but my wife and I both ate 1 bad one ironically. Either way we did t get sick

Espresso Martini - An espresso martini with a creamy top and three coffee beans is placed on a bar counter, with a bar back featuring bottles in the background.

Stopped by to sit at the bar and had an espresso martini-- it was really good! This spot is perfect for cocktails and watching the game at the bar. I'll definitely be back for a full dinner, especially after hearing the lady next to me rave about their pasta!

I feel like you can't get bad Italian food in Boston north end. Just try to make reservations. Food was good. Our waiter was a little checked out, but service was okay. He didn't listen well to our drink order. We didn't need anything otherwise tho. A good viable option.

Black truffle with tagliatelle - A dish of pasta topped with shaved black truffles is presented on a white plate at a restaurant table, with drinks and other dishes visible in the background.

We LOVE Prezza. I've lived in the North End twice and have been to mostly every restaurant there. It is one of the best. Everything on the menu is great, you can't go wrong. This time I ordered the Black Truffle Tagliatelle special--to die for!

    Wood Grilled Squid and Octopus
    Rosemary S.

Enjoyed the food a lot but the overall experience was a bit of a mixed bag. First of all, both the squid and octopus and the tuna tartare were delicious. Overpriced but anywhere that has not fried squid in the US is great. Large portion of tuna tartare without. A bunch of filler or sauce added. Hot and dirty martini was not good. It was neither hot nor dirty. The decor was fine, pretty minimalist. Our waiter was good but all the staff asked 5-10 times to take our plates while we were still eating which makes you feel like I'd rushed. Overall enjoyed it but not wowed. Definitely cost more than it should have.

Delicious! Staff was very friendly and the service was quick. I had the painkiller and the chicken parm. They also had a delicious complimentary bread service.

Buffalo Mozzarella & Meatballs - The image shows a table with Italian cuisine, including a plate of prosciutto with cheese and garnish, a bowl of pasta with grated cheese, and a glass of red wine.

Came for Valentine's Day dinner! Had this one on my list because it was on Yelp's Top 100 Restaurants list in 2022. It was good all around (food, vibes and service), but nothing to write home about.

Prezza is a place that feels very much like somewhere you don't find but someone recommends. Just one street off the congested north end path it feels a little hidden. You step inside to a very sleek restaurant with a wonderful collection of different artistic pieces. I'd made a reservation the day before but even being a Monday they were filled. Our server, Nicholas, had that very Bostonian charm and definitely gave me a few laughs throughout my meal. He recommended a riesling and chardonnay for me and my friend that we really enjoyed. We had complimentary ciabatta bread with vinegar filled with olives which was good. We also got this unique shrimp dish with beautiful plating and a great crunch texture from the toppings wrapped around it. My favorite dish was definitely the corn raviolini. It's funny because it's what my friend ordered and I had hesitated getting it because I was sure about it. Another guest in the restaurant even commented on how delicious the dish was as they had ordered it as. The menu doesn't just have pasta but also seafood and meat so there's something for everyone. This would be the place to have a fancy dinner or have a nice work dinner. I cannot wait to visit again!

Delicious Italian food in North End - more on the premium end but the scallops were amazing and the seafood/fish stew was also very fresh!

Drinks were just as fun vegan eggnog plus a pistachio latte (don't question it, just order it) and a pink non-alcoholic situation that tasted like brunch decided to dress up. Now let's address the elephant sitting at the table with no water: the service. Everyone complaining? They're not wrong. It's slow. Like... "you start reconsidering your life choices while waiting for a bottle of water so you can serve yourself" slow. And yes, management should absolutely just lean into reality and overstaff the place. It would solve everything. BUT and this is important, if you walk in knowing that, you're fine. The staff, when they get to you, are genuinely kind and friendly. It's not bad service, it's just... delayed service. Also, if you've got green hair and are confidently pulling off a look that says "I am both the main character and the plot twist," you will feel right at home here. I don't fully understand it, but I respect the commitment. Just thought people should know going in, just like the delayed service. Bottom line: incredible food, good vibes, patience required. I'll absolutely be back... and I might bring my own water bottle next time just to stay ahead of things.

This is the spot that I will take people to for breakfast when they visit...because you can't not get Sunny girl. I love the Lox sandwich, but pro tip: add in a fried egg. It goes sooooo well. Everything else is also good, especially the torta one, but the lox one is so unique. The citrus salad on it...just amazing. The store itself is a small shop and in the summers has outdoor seating. I've eaten in the outside area a few times, but I usually pick it up and take it back to my apartment. I think in a pinch you could eat outside, but inside is honestly way too tight because it does tend to get crowded. That brings me to my next point, I strongly recommend ordering online. While it's nice being able to order there and ask questions, you should be prepared to wait in a long line if you go in the weekend. It's safe to say this is a popular spot among locals...and everyone else. But rightfully so, the food is truly outstanding. A must try, and I can't wait for their new location in Southie!

They also have a collab going with Weesh bakery and we tried their cookies n cream pop tart. It was so tasty! Would love it if they have more flavors to choose from next time. They have a couple of tables out front where you can sit with your pup or if those are filled, just chill on the wall of the flower garden. This place is pretty small so doubt they have bathrooms but if you go across the street, there are public restrooms in the building where Starbucks is - just keep walking toward the harbor and you'll see the entrance on your left.

I've eaten here before (it's a small area, but does have a lot of seating) but normally I get it as take out. The cafe itself is super casual, it's the perfect place to pop into during lunch or after a walk. My food is always ready on time which is nice, and when I've eaten there I'm usually able to find a seat. The spinach tortellini with the pesto cream sauce is my absolute favorite- it's a HUGE portion and so delicious. It usually lasts me at least 2 meals. The bread they include is also great! I like to dip it in the sauce. The past time I got Dino's I accidentally ordered spinach ravioli instead of tortellini...that was my bad. HOWEVER I think I might have found my new favorite? The raviolis are huge and so fat. I'm talking like 1/2 inch - 3/4 inch thick. There is so much stuffing and the spinach ricotta mix tastes so fresh and delicious...it's a must try. I've also gotten the eggplant parm before, and the fettuccini Alfredo. Both were also delicious. I've never had any of the sandwiches, but if they are anything like their pastas then I'm sure they are great! The bang for your buck here is also great which is nice. Highly recommend! Salmon topped with caviar and chives, citron crema, and dill oil. I expected a blend of citron and dill, citrus and herbal aromas, and a delightful contrast between the rich plump salmon and the slightly crunchy caviar, but the overwhelming saltiness ruined everything. To me, it was like the cook spilled the salt shaker, but the restaurant seemed to claim this was normal saltiness? Unbelievable. Casarecce: 5/5 stars! Gorgonzola Dolce cheese gave the sauce a creamy, smooth texture, while its rich creaminess was balanced by the slightly bitterness of the broccoli rabe and the mild sweetness of roasted squash. The squash was diced and only lightly roasted, its crispness contrasting with the softness and tenderness of the broccoli rabe. The Casarecce was firm and chewy, perfect for pairing with the rich sauce. Everything was exquisite and delicate, just right. The delightful surprise was how the cook cleverly preserved and utilized the bitterness of the raw vegetables. The ambiance was average, and the seating was rather cramped. The server was incredibly knowledgeable about their dishes, even able to recite the ingredients.
