They ran a snake through the toilet and eventually figured out that the root intrusion was actually caused by some hack job another company did with the wrong connections a few years back. Ive been having problems with my pressure regulator that's making a sound every time we flush our toilet or use our water. Victor has been great from the start. We spend over $8000 and after two months later, we had the same problem again obviously we learned our lesson and we looked for license and bonded company that carry warranty and liability. We had david and Jesus come out to assess the issue after hearing about our mess. They were very nice to call the office and get the camera fee waived. DAVID and JOSE showed me all the mistakes that the previous people did and yes I know drain work is not cheap. He was able to jackhammer from the outside, and did not damage the concrete of my backyard, nor did he damage the stucco. Called them for a quote on fixing a toilet which kept flushing and also to fix a broken angle stop for the same toilet. The guys were polite but the quote they gave me was complete highway robbery and the hard sell was definitely over the top. To fix the toilet, I knew it probably just needed a new fill valve and flapper. They told me because I had a Toto toilet, it would be better to replace the entire toilet because the repair would be too expensive. To this I balked and asked for an estimate. They quoted me $285 for a new fill valve and flapper. They then quoted me an additional $250 for the new angle stop. I told them I needed to think about it and do research. I ended up replacing the fill valve and flapper myself with authentic Toto parts from Amazon and Lowes for a total of $40 dollars and fixed the problem myself. Wouldn't call these guys back. Paying a 7x markup on parts and labor for a job which takes a novice like me 15 minutes is outrageous. And trying to convince me to replace my entire toilet was just dishonest. read more
