Matt is wonderful. Our insurance was going to drop us unless we made significant improvements to our house. Matt came to our rescue. Not only did he save our home insurance, but he was kind, professional, and timely while also being reasonably priced. Cannot recommend his service enough! read more

Overall, I'm satisfied. I guess our floors were too complicated to work with or maybe he doesn't have much experience on flooring. We had the bad results a couple times in a row which added more time. While waiting for the floor to be dry, we were asked if we wanted our driveway look nicer and for almost a day, his apprentice brushed the driveway but after that they never returned to the driveway to complete the job so i ended up having all the materials in the shed. He was good but i just wished he could have shared the timeframe and the budget and how much materials that we actually needed. I have so many stuff that Im not sure can be used again. Thank you anyway! read more

Matt is great, I highly recommend. He's responsive, professional, and understanding. He communicates well and doesn't leave anything up to interpretation. I work with contractors all day everyday and Matt is slowly becoming one of my favorites. Thanks Matt. read more

Matt did fantastic work on a project at my apartment! He was able to quickly evaluate what was best for my situation and budget before collecting all of the materials himself. His craftsmanship and speed were exactly as one would hope and I'll definitely request his services again. read more

Matt told me to send him a list of things I needed done. He said he was interested and would get back to me with a quote. I never received a quote. He then said he had a family emergency and then ghosted me. read more

Matt was courteous, prompt and got the job done at a fair price. I have already hired him again for the next project.

Matt may be a very good Handiman but I'll never know. Matt had me waiting for six weeks and still had no idea when he could start. This was after he visited my job site the same day I contacted him and gave me a reasonable estimate. Matts excuse was his current customer kept adding things for him to do and would not reschedule in order to service other clients. He did communicate well after I reached out to him, hence two stars. read more

Matt is AMAZING! When we had to put our condo up for sale, he did ALL the hard work to get it in tip top shape and make it sellable. Painting, roofing, woodwork, projects big and small - he is the man! We continue to hire him for anything that comes up. And on top of it all, he's a great guy. We're always happy to see him. read more

Professional. Reliable. Friendly. Communicative. Reasonable. Sometimes yelp reviews can be misleading. But finding Matt was such a blessing. He refinished my aged and abused kitchen cabinets to their original glory. And glorious it was! They look brand new. Matt also painted my bathroom cabinets, replaced light fixtures, re-caulking, replaced broken parts of appliances and such throughout my condo, all done with such care and detail. He consistently send photos of the work in progress, as well as text and phone call updates, which really put my mind at ease. And he left the condo so clean after all the work is completed. And did I mention his fee was really reasonable? To top it all off, Matt is such a genuine and friendly person to work with. He was generous with his knowledge, and gave me valuable money and time-saving advice on the improvements. I honestly lucked out that he was able to find the time to help me. Matt, if you are reading this, I hope we get to work together again on future projects. Thank you for everything. read more

I needed to add some splash guards on my patio rain gutters, and Matt helped brainstorm a custom solution and executed it with skill and attention to detail. He's also gave our front doors a new coat of finish, touched up the grout for our shower, and fixed a leaky door threshold. His rate is very competitive and his quality is excellent. He's my first call when I need a handyman. Highly recommended! read more

This is the third time I had Matt help with a home related project. This time I needed his help to put up a rather large mirror (see photo). As usual, he showed up on time. He was mindful about Covid-19 safety. He wore a face mask the entire time and was open to wear shoe covers when he entered the house. You are in good hands with him. He is professional, reliable, reasonably priced and a great conversationalist. He is my to go handyman! read more

Matt arrived quickly and was very friendly and professional. He was efficient and did the job immediately without any issues. His prices were totally reasonable. I would hire him again without question! read more

We are so lucky that we found Matt on yelp! We had moved into our new home and realized that we needed drapes put up for our first night. Thankfully Matt came over way after regular hours and put up the drapes so fast and made sure they were well secured. He even helped to assemble some bedside tables. Thank you Matt!! We highly recommend Matt! read more

Matt not only does an excellent job with all the various home repairs, painting, etc., he's a great guy and now a friend. He worked around our schedule (and baby sleep/nap cycle) to do the work. I have recommended him to my friends and family and obviously will hire again. read more

I am surprised at all these good reviews. Our experience with Matt was very negative. We have a roof leak which can be repaired by a handyman. We had a similar repair years ago on the other part of the roof and knew that it was the right job for a handyman. Seeing so many good reviews and Matt being in our neighborhood, I called Matt on Sept. 21 and left a message with my name, phone number and that we needed to repair a roof leak. I repeated my phone number twice just in case, though I was calling from my cell phone. It has been almost two weeks since I left Matt a message, but Matt did not call back. Is it professional? No. Is it considered? No, especially for a roof leak job. Update: Matt's comment to my review claims that he does not have a secretary, gets many calls and simply forgets to reply. I texted him right away to make it easy for him to reply and got the same result - no reply. read more

We are so grateful we found Matt!!! We embarked on an overdue garage reorganization project with our 1932 detached garage. In the process of moving everything out, we realized that the garage not only needed some TLC but it had some water damage and leakage problems along the sides (which we suspected). He replaced baseboards and rotting wood beams. Matt analyzed the waterproofing solutions and made sensical/practical recommendations. He was thorough, thoughtful and easy to communicate with. He has excellent workmanship and left the work area clean and tidy. He even helped us out with our outdoor hanging lights! The project was within the estimate, too, and his prices were fair. Thank you so much, Matt!!! read more

Matt did a great job repairing our front door, which was rubbing the sill and damaging the wood. Not only did he adjust the door sweep and add two frame screws to lift the door, he also resealed the damaged sill and buffed out a rub line on the hardwood floor. He was super clean about the whole process and even wore shoe covers and brought a hand vac! I also had Matt look at another door handle that was sticking and he was able to improve it, and even left us some graphite and WD-40 to keep our handles and hinges squeak-free. He's a nice guy who is full of helpful tips on how to care for home wood furnishings. Recommended! read more

We had Matt come out for a few things and he has done great work on all of them. Will call again for a few other projects.

Matt is fabulous! The best handyman I have ever worked with. He really knows what he's doing and takes pride in doing the best job he can. In our case he went the extra 5 miles to save us time and money. From now on he will be my number one choice and I highly recommend him . He is a star in the community. read more

Quick response, well priced. Very personable and did a great job with what I asked him to help with. Will use again.

Matt did some caulking work for me in the bathrooms and kitchen. Excellent work! He goes above and beyond! read more

Matt is detail oriented, experienced and his prices are fair. We originally had a leak in my daughters room. We needed Matt in a pinch before the big rain and he got everything done before the rain. He waterproofed the drain from our roof and replaced the scupper and downspout. He also did the interior fix and matched the plaster work perfectly. After that job we had him replace a cracked tile in our kitchen. He was respectful and kind with the family as well. He as a great guy. Thanks Matt! read more

We needed a honeycomb blind replaced, and a new curtain rod installed. Matt was friendly, professional, on time, prepared and skilled. His prices are excellent, and the work quality top notch. The job was done fast, properly installed and looks great! He even helped to patch an area on the window sill, which is a major improvement aesthetically. Matt has a good eye for details along with knowledge and the tools to get the job done. Highly recommend. read more

After a nagging kitchen sink drain clog, Matt came and was absolutely determined to find the clog. He went in 30 ft and wasn't finding anything. He was about to tell us that he could go no further and we should call the "big guys." Well, persistence paid off. He found it, and the water was easily flowing. Not only was he tireless, but he also had a playful and friendly personality. He was on time, wore a mask, completely professional, knowledgable and reasonably priced. read more

Matt did a great job for us and was able to fit us in last minute over the weekend. We had to take a plasma tv off the wall and replace the HDMI cable that had broken. He also saved us from having to replace a garbage disposal that appeared to be leaking. Matt got under there, diagnosed the problem and it turned out the leak was coming from a connection on the backside of the disposal. He put some plumbers tape on and tightened it down. Although these aren't very big projects, he had a great attitude and was very accommodating. We will definitely be using him again! read more

Matt was great. He assisted an elderly woman I look after. He got the job done while trying to minimize costs. He fixed all the items i had requested, plus a couple last minute add ins once he got to the home. He made a run to the store to pick up a door bell as well. In addition to getting all the tasks completed, he was kind and patient with the elderly woman, who can often be difficult to communicate with. Will definitely be calling Matt back when needed! read more

Matt did a great job, and he was Covid Safe. I hired him to mount a 65" tv to what I thought was a fully brick wall. It turned halfway up behind the wall was nothing but drywall. He said it was not safe to hang the tv on just the drywall. He went Lowes and got a 2x4 and built a base for the tv to be hung on. Now the tv is up and safe on the wall! Matt really cares about his customers and is very professional and straight forward. I plan to hire him again! read more

Matt was awesome. He returned my call promptly and worked with me over the phone to streamline my problem and gave me a really good price for the work that he did. I have a vinyl fence that blew down in the big winds. He fixed it in one day and fixed other parts of the fence to help to reinforce it. He showed me where the original contractors cut corners and how he fixed it. He went over all the options and we made the decision on what to do together keeping me in the know the whole way through. I can't say enough good things about his work and the fact that he's just an honest and nice guy! We liked him so much that we are using him for some other things that need fixing. read more

Had Matt do some work for me and he did a great job at a fair price. I would definitely use him again.

Matt was professional, efficient, and very fair. He helped me assess and take care of a problem in my kitchen.

Matt is great!! He was very responsive and was able to squeeze us in for a bit of a rush job despite his very busy COVID schedule. He clearly has years of experience and knows what he's talking about. A very kind person who has that classic "friendly neighborhood handyman" feel but with top notch professionalism. Will definitely call him back if we need more work done! read more

Matt is a true expert who does excellent work, is reliable, and honest. He fixed my garbage disposal, taking it apart and solving the problem. He saved me a lot of money by fixing it so I didn't have to buy a new one. I hired him again to strip paint, refinish, and make a shelf for three huge cabinets. He did a wonderful job promptly, and I'm very happy with the results. He even re-hung my hammock in a tree--a handyman indeed! read more

Matt was great. He was professional, efficient, and very knowledgeable. We kept adding more work because is so great at multi-tasking as well. He fixed a botched patch job in our ceiling and now you can't tell there was ever a hole. He also helped seal and partially insulate a detached studio, add stability to our side gates, and give our front bench a facelift. He's very experienced and is more than willing to provide good input on your projects as well. read more

Showed up in a mask and wore entire time. Went above and beyond and even helped to charge our son's car... everything was fixed and cleaned up as new! Will plan to call again for sure! read more

Matt was very responsive, and was able to fit us in within a few days (it was not an emergency, so a few days was fine). He was quick and efficient, very nice and professional. Showed his Covid vaccinations upon arrival, which we appreciated. He also walked us through what he was doing and why, so that if we wanted to do the same thing ourselves later (mounting a tv into the wall), we would have no problem. He was great and will definitely be saving his number for the next time! read more

Made an appointment with Matt, and he never showed up or called. See below. He apparently had a problem with his phone. Spoke with Matt again. He did apparently have a real problem with his phone. Made another appointment. Met with Matt today. He is a very personable guy. We discussed 2 separate jobs, one of which he provided me with a very reasonable quote for a smaller job of moving some furniture. He recommended I get more quotes on the bigger move-out house cleaning job, and I will do so. read more
