Updating my original review years later because we ended up needing Mick again today for another plumbing issue at one of our family properties. We had a sewer backup issue affecting the back unit/ADU while also dealing with separate toilet issues in the front house. Mick responded quickly, diagnosed both problems efficiently, and got everything resolved the same day. The front house issue turned out to be worn toilet flappers from normal wear and tear. The back unit issue was a main line grease buildup/clog that required drain clearing and camera inspection work. Mick also took the time to explain the likely long-term slope/drainage concern with the ADU connection in a very straightforward and practical way. One thing I still appreciate after all these years is that Mick communicates like an operator, not a salesman. He explains what is urgent, what is manageable, and what may become a future capital repair issue without trying to create panic or pressure. Fast response, direct communication, practical diagnostics, and strong long-term knowledge of older LA plumbing systems and rental properties. Still highly recommend Mick and Right Price Rooter & Plumbing. read more

Mick's team came out today and helped us resolve a plumbing issue with the bathroom and toilet of the ADU. Another great job done, really appreciate his team. He was dependable and came at the agreed time. Got the job done quickly and effectively. I'll be continuing to rely on Mick for my plumbing needs. Great service and quality for the price! read more

Replaced a ejector pump, didn't put new sealant on the sump cover, when I called to inquire the plumber told me that "that's more of a home owner's thing to do"(don't think so) left old caulk all over the floor and got hand prints on our freshly painted walls. read more

We replaced our water main line and could not have chosen a better company. Family owned and operated, fair pricing, and great work! The owner, Mick, is honest, straightforward, and personally ensured that everything went smoothly. When the crew started a little late due to a scheduling error, Mick sent extra guys out to help and ensure the job was completed on schedule. Very happy! Would definitely call them again. read more

Mick was super kind and knowledgable on the phone helping arrange a snake out clean out before a dinner party. He sent Fernando, (awesome person) over to do the work and camera operation. Both men were very patient with my questions and concerns. The snake was the quick fix and Mick walked me through various other long term solutions which I was not able to commit to at the time. He offered a midterm solution using the fee from the snaking/camera as a discount towards the future work. I highly recommend calling Mick when you need someone who will do the job and be flexible with plans for the next step. read more

Our scope:After two root clogs in our main sewer and camera inspections we realized we were beyond flushing root killer every month and needed to replace the clay  pipe. Summary: RPR was 1 of 3 companies that we found most trustworthy, straightforward, and communicative. The owner Mick, and his team Gio, Andy, Nico and Oscar treated this project with pride and quality as if it was at their own house, or for their parents. They also approach the cost of the project as if they were paying for it, making sure you should only pay for what you really need (faith in humanity restored!). Takeaway: anyone with a plumbing project, should at least call Mick and team for a quote/advice, I'm confident you will benefit from reaching out to them. Details:After a no pressure camera inspection, Mick offered a couple approaches where we could replace the 4" clay pipe under our yard and he'd hydrojet the 6" pipe leading to the city, and would advise if we needed to put a liner it after inspecting it, which could save us some money on this large project. All the other companies said we should do the whole scope, so appreciated the honesty and sensitivity in making sure we got the best value for this  The team performed replacement via a pipe burst method (videos for those curious). Which was minimally invasive and gave us peace of mind for longevity. They actually also poured the slab back better than it was before. After hydrojetting the last segment, Mick gave his honest opinion, that I could probably go without putting a liner in the last segment, but since there were roots in there originally, he said they'd likely come back, but we'd be good for a while, and he would not charge us for digging up the hole in the future if we changed our mind. We ended up having the liner placed in the last segment, we figured if you have a quality crew there, just have them do the work now.  Overall, very good experience for a major plumbing project for us. The crew was very trustworthy, straightforward and communicative. They handle everything from permits, dig alert and send pics and videos along the the whole process making sure you understand what is happening and what you are getting. read more

Right Price Rooter and Plumbing did not disappoint--again. I had a gas leak and called the office; Richard quickly dispatched Jonathan. He performed a gas pressure test, identified multiple leaks, and clearly explained the situation along with upfront pricing. Since it was a larger job, I let them know I'd be getting a few other estimates. After comparing, their price was not only very competitive but the best overall--especially considering the warranty--so it was an easy decision. The job took two days and was completed perfectly. Drywall was opened, patched, and painted to match. They installed an earthquake shut-off valve, pulled permits, and handled inspections without any issues. What really stood out was the honesty, communication, and professionalism--from the initial phone call to the final walkthrough. Everything was clearly explained, and the team was responsive the entire time. Mick is clearly passionate about his company and it shows in the quality of work and customer care. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again and highly recommend them to anyone needing plumbing services. Right Price Rooter you guys rock! read more

We manage luxury Airbnb properties and were referred to Mick and his team for a last minute plumbing emergency. Within 30 minutes of being in touch, Mick had Victor and Jonathan out to fix this plumbing emergency. The job itself was no easy task - required work all day long with support brought in from 2 additional guys Andy and Armondo. They identified and fixed the issue same day and were super professional and just great to work with. We were afraid to ask the cost of the job, imagining that it was going to be sky high, but actually their prices were super reasonable and along the lines of what plumbers we've worked with for years would've charged us (which is obviously super competitive). Highly recommend Mick and the team, they're a family-run business for 35+ years and it shows in their workmanship and professionalism :) read more

Mick and Fernando. Remember those names. Right Price Rooter and Plumbing not only saved us money, they did it providing better service and options. We needed a solution for our main drainage line, and after speaking with the first company, I was a little stressed with the cost. I decided to get quotes from a few other pros and Right Price gave both the best estimate and completed the work more expediently. Mick and Fernando delivered exactly what they projected. There were no hidden fees or misses. They even cleaned up some of another companies mess. Literally can't say thank you enough! A few weeks in and we have had no issues! Thanks Gents! read more

Right Price Rooter & Plumbing recently came out to my house for the second time, and once again they did a fantastic job. The team was very communicative, arrived on time, and their pricing was extremely competitive. This visit included replacing two hot water heaters and the main water pressure valve for my home. Their main plumber on site, Gio, handled the work and was outstanding -- very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. He thoroughly explained the entire process, made sure I understood what was being done, and made me feel confident that everything was completed correctly. He also left the work area spotless when the job was finished, which I really appreciated. I highly recommend Right Price Rooter & Plumbing. Don't hesitate to give them a call. read more

The problem was my home's blocked mainline & whether to Hydrojet or excavate down to the cracked / root infested pipe? Mick made the judgement call to dig & repair . I had to trust him as this is a big job. Turns out he was absolutely correct & after we opened up the ground, the pipe was clogged w massive roots & verging on disaster! His team , Fernando, Victor, Andy & Selvin did an amazing repair - so grateful I trusted Micks expertise here . Hopefully I'll have a lot less issues now that the main blockage has been fixed. I'd hire him again , & he's highly recommended! read more

Mick and Giovanni at Right Price Rooter & Plumbing truly SAVED me in an emergency -- not once, but twice --and they went above and beyond to deliver first-class plumbing service when I most needed them. I had owned a home in LA for many years and engaged various plumbers over that time, but when I needed to replace my earthquake gas shut-off valve with new unit in preparing my condo for sale, I searched specifically for a licensed and insured *gas* plumber and Right Price Rooter and Plumbing was the best reviewed one on Yelp. Giovanni came that same day to replace the unit and he was so knowledgeable and experienced, he was finished with the job before I even came back outside to make sure he had gate access! The second job was when a piece of drywall got shower water dripping on it and I needed to dry and repair that patch immediately -- I called Mick again and despite being fully booked that afternoon, he was able to dispatch the amazing Giovanni to my home for an emergency repair. Mick went above and beyond to meet my needs when I was most desperate, gave me excellent quotes, and truly cared about his work, his employees, and the customer. Giovanni is a world-class plumber who is friendly, no-fuss, efficient, and deeply experienced and competent. I wish I had found this business sooner, and my parting gift to Los Angelenos is to hire RIGHT PRICE for your plumbing needs because great craftsmen and vendors like Mick and Giovanni are hard to find. read more

We've now used Mick's team at RPR multiple times now. Every time we call--Mick is incredibly quick to take care of the problem. It's not often that an experience with a company continues the level of excellence that they started with. Mick and his team keep exceeding our expectations. Not only is it exceptional work, it also comes with genuine care for the quality of service. Mick clearly takes pride in their craft and we've felt an authentic connection with him. Relationships are important with this kind of service. This kind of trust and respect is rare today. To top it all off--Mick continues to offer generous rates that have beaten all other plumbing providers. It doesn't make sense to use any other company. read more

We had a drain issue in one of our bathrooms and Fernando was not only able to quickly identify the root problem, which required new parts, equipment and installation, he went above and beyond to complete the job swiftly while offering the best possible price. Both he and Mick were strong communicators and thorough in ensuring the job was completed successfully. My wife and I were incredibly satisfied and would certainly reach out to the Right Price Rooter and Plumbing team again if another job is required. read more

I had a plumbing issue that needed immediate attention and they were the first ones to respond! They work in apartment buildings, which I found that a lot of other plumbers don't. Victor did such an amazing job! Not only did he explain to me the process but also kept me updated with any changes. The entire company is amazing because they responded right away with Victor arriving within an hour and they did the work that needed to be done. They are also so affordable, their price was a third than what I was quoted for other plumbers. They are officially the plumber that I will be calling any and every time I have a plumbing issue, big or small! read more

I cannot recommend Right Price Rooter & Plumbing enough. I recently had a gas leak at my home which turned into a stressful situation with my landlord. George, the main technician, along with Giovanni, Andy and Nico, were incredible from start to finish. Mick also hustled his butt off to make sure the Gas Company got here as fast as possible. Their entire team stepped in immediately, handled the situation professionally and kept me informed the whole way through. They were competitive in pricing, extremely knowledgeable and went above and beyond to resolve everything quickly and safely. They navigated a complicated landlord situation and still delivered exceptional service without cutting corners. Their communication was consistent, their workmanship was excellent and their level of care made such a difference during a stressful time. If you need a trustworthy and reliable plumbing company, especially for something serious like a gas leak, this is the team to call. They earned every bit of this 5-star review. Highly recommend. read more

Contacted them originally for a quote on lining an old sewer lateral; they weren't the cheapest (though not far off), but they were the most responsive and helpful. As we discovered more plumbing issues, Mick was quick to help, getting a sizable crew to our house the next day to tackle everything ASAP. Mick & team will be the first people I contact for any future plumbing issues. read more

MIck and his crew were good to work with. His estimate was fair and priced right. He was able to work with us on short notice and made it happen. His Team Leader Giovanni was hard working and pleasant with a good attitude, so a special shout out to him and his crew. The company was attentive to our needs and concerns. We had a main service line installed that was a little bit more challenging than most and avoided jack hammering through areas of concrete and stone. read more

Great! Best yet. Recurring issue with tree roots in sewer line. They fixed it fast and were informative without all the upsell of the usual roto guys. Highly recommend. Also, before you do a liner (like I did) or replace your clean out etc - I'd get Mic's opinion. read more

My old house's gas pipes started to leak after about 70 years of service. Remembering what a great job they did with a water system overhaul I had done about a year ago, I turned to Right Price again for help with overhauling the gas pipe system. Thanks again to Mick and his crew for the much appreciated professionalism. read more

Fernando Z. was great compared to the plumbers I'd seen previously! I had two problems: a root clogged main sewer drain, and leaky drainage pipes. First Fernando did a serious diagnosis. He crawled underneath the house, found a leak and took pictures. Then he gave me a reasonable estimate for unclogging the sewer pipe. It was less than the previous plumbers were asking for just a diagnosis!! So of course I agreed. He did a very thorough job, running the high power drain cleaner twice all the way to the city sewer pipe. Odor and sewage backing up problem solved for the time being. Then Fernando showed me the root problem by running a pro grade pipe cam down the drainage pipe. He also used a device to find the exact spot where the roots were growing into the pipe. See attached photos. Permanently fixing the root problem will require more work, because a drain clean cannot remove the roots and prevent them from growing back. But based on what Mick told me, I'm almost certain I'll go with RPR's proposal for a permanent fix! read more

Hire them! So glad I did! Reasonably priced, they got out there quickly, diagnosed the issues and fixed it promptly and properly. Mick and his team were a huge help with a really poopy (literally) situation. Communication was great, work and prices were explained and written down, and we were sent photos and video of all problems and work done under the house. Mick gave us a good price, while still doing the job right. I would happily use again, but hope I don't have to :) Edit: forgot to mention Ruben, Andy, and Fernando who led the work on site. They worked through the rain, got stuff done in great time, and left the site perfectly cleaned up. read more

We were notified by the water company that our usage had spiked and we might have a leak. Our regular plumber was fully booked, so I reached out to Right Price Rooter and was quickly helped by Mick. He sent Fernando out to check for a leak, then walked us through how to shut off the toilet valves to help pinpoint the issue. We left them off overnight, and when the water company returned in the morning, they confirmed there was no more water flowing and gave us tablets to test the toilets. We identified the source of the leak, called Mick, and Giovanni arrived shortly after. He was fantastic--explained everything clearly, showed me what was wrong and what he replaced, and had our home (with three kids!) back in working order. It was a stressful situation--losing 210 gallons of water right before the long 4th of July weekend--but this team made a tough moment much easier. We're really grateful for their quick response and excellent service. read more

Had a great experience working with this company. My house in Brentwood needed a gas pipe replaced due to weather corrosion. Spoke with Mick and he came out and gave an estimate the next day. Price was very competitive compared to the other quotes I received. Fernando and Andy came out and finished the job in a day. Very professional. Would highly recommend. read more

The sewer line was getting backed up, i had got a hydrojet service from a different vendor and upon the camera inspection they found that there were roots growing in the pipe. they gave me a quote for the repair but i wanted to shop around first. I got a few other vendors to come out to check it out, but Mick at Right Price Rooter gave me a the best quote and provided professional assurance. His guys came out, dug the trench and replaced the old rooted up clay pipe with a new pipe. Everything is flowing good now. read more

10/10 recommend! When our water went out completely, we had the city come inspect the issue and they suspected a leak. We were stressed, scrambling, and getting quotes from plumbers that were just outrageous. That's when I remembered working with Right Price Rooter before, specifically with Mick, and told my husband we should give them a call. And wow, I'm so glad we did. From the moment we spoke to Mick (at 8 PM, no less!), he was responsive, honest, and genuinely kind. He had someone out the very next day to assess and start the job. We had old galvanized pipes, and his team replaced them with copper, quickly and professionally. Not only was the work top-notch, but their pricing was extremely competitive compared to other quotes we received. No hidden fees, no upselling. At no point did we feel pressured or misled. Mick truly had our best interest in mind. His crew Giovanni, Andy, and Selvin were just as impressive. Efficient, respectful, and clearly experienced. They worked seamlessly and had our water restored faster than we expected. We are so happy that we decided to give them a call. We'll absolutely be using them for all our future plumbing needs! read more

I just got off the phone with Mick, who saw a picture of my concrete patio with my clay sewer pipes underneath it. I thought a large tree root nearby was causing cracks in my patio, which could eventually damage my clay pipes. Mick mentioned that he is also a structural engineer and said the patio cracks were caused by the concrete used back in the day, not by tree roots. So my clay pipes should be fine and do not need to be replaced. What a relief! I truly appreciate Mick's expert assessment and genuine honesty. He could have convinced me to replace the clay pipes anyway to get my business, but he took the higher, honest road. That is worth five stars in my book. I will be sure to keep him and his company in mind when I have a real plumbing issue. read more

We have used Right Price Rooter and Plumbing several times over the years we've owned our home. Mick is always responsive and works with us to get the job taken care of quickly, professionally and completely. In this most recent case, our old sewer line was completely destroyed by roots over many years and it was a disaster. I called Mick and his team was on the job within 30 minutes and they immediately got to work to figure out the problem and bring in the right team and equipment to get the job done to build a new segment of pipe. By the end of the next day, our driveway was repaired/patched with new concrete where they dug and we went back to living our life normally, life like nothing ever happened. It was an expensive job but I think it was worth it. read more

Mick and his team are easily the best plumbing company I have worked with. We had to replace our entire sewer line of 100 feet and their team did a fantastic job. Mick's knowledge is par none. I got 9 reputable plumbing companies out to run cameras, give me bids, and tell me their solution to my problem. I kept going back to Mick asking him questions and he patiently answered my questions and explained why he would recommend pipe bursting for my sewer line. Not only was his price the best bid I got, but his professionalism, experience, and his work is better than anyone we reviewed. Victor, Rene, Gioand Selvin were also wonderful, hardworking, respectful, and timely. Their work is impeccable and I wouldn't trust any other company in Los Angeles with my plumbing. Mick went above and beyond. 5 stars recommend. read more

Short version: Right Price came up with a fair price. They did a professional job and completed it in the time they estimated. They were customer friendly and were easy to work with. They stuck to their original quote and did not "nickel & dime" us after the fact. Now for the long version: Mick really came through for us during this critical time. We had a leak between the city meter and the shutoff valve so the City turned off our water completely since they determined it was wasting water. We needed to replace the main line and quickly as heavy rains were expected. We got multiple bids and Right Price offered a fair price. Not the cheapest and definitely not the most expensive. I was skeptical because Mick, the manager, was so accommodating. I wasn't sure if he was genuine. But we were desperate with no running water and needed to get this repaired. We decided to take a chance and give them the job. They showed up the next day as scheduled. Mick was legit. And the lead on this job was Gio and he was an extension of his boss. He was very accommodating and did things the way I preferred. He followed through on what he promised and finished in 1 day. We were absolutely happy to have running water again so quickly. Since the job still needed to be inspected by the City they were not able to fill back in the trenches that were dug up. We anticipated this would take long because of the bad weather and it was also New Years; however, Mick was able to use his connections to expedite it and Right Price put everything back to the way it was. You almost couldn't tell that work had been done. Mick and Right Price lived up to the high ratings and positive reviews. We are extremely happy with our dealings with Right Price and would use them again for future plumbing issues. read more
