Thank goodness I contacted these people! Thank you Yelpers, for steering me in the right direction! I got a really good vibe from the guy who showed up. First off he actually called me when he was about twenty minutes away. It was helpful to know he was on his way. Once he arrived he put on plastic shoe covers /booties so that my floors could stay clean while he worked. Then when he looked at my tankless water heater he took the time to explain three reasons it was not up to code. I really appreciate it her he explained everything so that someone completely clueless about the topic could understand. He was a good teacher! I asked him to look at some leaky faucets, shower diverters, etc, and he even explained what was going on with all of them. It was neat for me to learn what was causing the leaks and what other areas could be improved. He also wasn't trying to upsell anything. Once he realized my whole complex has a water pressure reducer valve thing he told me that I didn't really need to get an individual one for my unit. (I had asked about if I could get one beforehand.) He said the HOA just needs to get a new one since our water pressure is too high and the one we have is old. That was very cool of him. Explained the whole process in detail from start to finish. Showed us video from scope. We had a basement room that backed up with water from the sewage line because the piping running out to the street main which is corroding and breaking at certain points with some roots. They did a great job pumping out the 8 or 9 inches of standing water and then roto-rooting the line. We were experiencing fluctuating water pressure issues and leak finally developed. Proview Plumbing responded quickly (within minutes) to our Yelp request. We scheduled a time for the same day. They arrived exactly on time, brought all the supplies and multiple technicians. They inspected and explained everything that needed to be done before starting the job. Several options for repairs were offered. I decided to have the entire job done. They were able to replace a frozen water shutoff valve, a broken main pressure regulator, replace multiple corroded shut valves under the sink, completely replace the corroded pipes under the sink. All the work was accomplished the same day! Everyone was professional and worked neatly. Very impressed with the way they respected our house and did the work professionally and NEATLY. Update: Arthur the owner refunded the $89 fee for an estimate. I am only able to report on the service that I received from this company. The only service that I received was an $0.00 estimate that was emailed. I thought the estimate was ok. This is the only establishment that required a $89.00 fee for an estimate. I had agreed to this quote (which I should not have in hindsight) so it is fair. Right after I was quoted the price that I did not like, I paid via Venmo to have Alex leave. The same day, I had two other plumbers come out and provide much more competitive rates without a $89 fee for an estimate that was completed in less than twelve minutes. If you need work, use a search engine for National Cost Averages to install (toilet) or whatever else you need done. Do not agree to pay an $89 fee for an estimate (GET QUOTES FOR FREE ELSEWHERE). The owner, Arthur was insistent that he is a small business and had asked me to take down the negative yelp review after that experience and that he would refund my money for a fee that I agreed on. Because I'm going to write this review, I told him to keep the fee that I agreed on. He refunded the $89 fee and called stating that wanted me to take down this review. I have modified this review to reflect what has transpired as a result of the refund.
