Extremely dishonest. Was told my control board needed to be replaced. Including labor which is probably less than 1 hour worth of work would cost $400 for labor & $ 900 for the control board. I was able to find the part for $135. So I decided to get a second opinion. The guy with in 2 min knew exactly what Lees HVAC guy, Raymond was trying to sell me. Dmitry, the second person to look at the work was able to fix the control board with 15 min. If the price seems too high always get a second opinion. This is a follow-up to my April 4 review, which I agreed to remove if Lee's HVAC honored their commitment to return for a third (since they missed the first two) appointment and complete the AC tune-ups as promised, including the complimentary service Raymond offered to make up for the earlier oversight. As I explained to the company, coordinating access for four tenants at the same time is extremely difficult. I managed to do this three separate times to accommodate their schedule. Unfortunately, during the last visit, Raymond missed servicing one of the apartments--likely due to rushing to complete all four units within a very limited timeframe. That said, I am choosing to give the company the benefit of the doubt. I have been told they are willing to return and correct the issue, and I am making a good-faith effort to trust that Lee's HVAC will follow through on their promise. I have requested photo documentation to confirm that the HVAC areas were properly serviced and cleared. I was promised by the office in a written estimate that the condenser units would be hosed down, though I have some reservations given the short amount of time spent on-site. I was looking for 18k btu mini split for my bedroom. Lee's HVAC claimed that I could get most of the money back through LADWP rebate. I checked online and found out that LADWP requires the unit to service the whole home, not be a supplementary solution. I scheduled an onsite appointment, but they did not show up. BEWARE - VERY DISHONEST‼‼‼We had a terrible experience with Lee's HVAC. Our power went out and we couldn't get our heater to start up again. We called Lee's HVAC because they had good yelp reviews. Raymundo Alvarez, the technician came, and apparently ripped out our fuses, transducer, and transformer and he told we needed to replace the system for $13,000‼‼‼ I thought this was suspect as we were told just weeks before by our contractor we had a strong system that would last for years. When we got a second opinion, the technician said those parts were removed. ‍‼‼‼ SEE Ray's texts acknowledging the removed parts and Lee's defense and bill. We lived without heat for a month until we were able to get what they PURPOSELY DAMAGED fixed by a contractor our contractor rec'd. But our trust in humanity is hurt by Lee's. They never acknowledged what they did. Their only credit was they were nice to our faces and they gave our deposit back but never rectified the damage they caused. My old HVAC system finally died, and in the middle of summer. I sent a request for quotes on Yelp and Lee's HVAC immediately responded and said they can send a tech the following day. They were super responsive and even followed up a couple of times when I forgot to respond. The tech (Raymond) arrived within the promised window and was super thorough with his inspection. He tried multiple times to revive the unit to try and avoid having me do a full replacement but my AC just kept shutting down after a minute or so. EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION EXCELLENT SERVICE I called Lee's to get my pilot lit on my heating unit. They explained to me that they needed to inspect the unit and do a diagnostic on it. This is a formal complaint against Lee's HVAC INC. for deceptive practices and poor service related to the installation of the heating unit at my residence. The company's actions have led to significant dissatisfaction and concerns about their business practices. Just a few of the issues: -Misrepresentation of Equipment - I believe it was a bait and switch. Promised Lennox unit but serial numbers indicates a Ducane unit was installed using R-410 refrigerant. After further research found out R410 unit was phased out as of December 31, 2025. Was not given options to choose alternative equipment. No name badges on the installed equipment. -There are rebate issues. Was told we would receive a $2500 rebate, which was after claimed to no longer be available due to tariffs. -Service Issues. The unit is excessively noisy and despite complaints and video evidence the issue remains unresolved. They came after hours and claimed to have fixed the issue. The unit is still making noise. Extremely dissatisfied with installation of an obsolete unit. Having California State License Board to investigate the matter. read more

My existing system was quite old, and other HVAC companies had previously advised replacement, but those conversations always felt like hard sales pitches. This experience was very different. Edaan clearly explained the options: what he could try to do to get the system working again, what that would cost, and--without any pressure--what replacement alternatives might look like. He also took the time to point out local rebates and a federal tax credit, which was extremely helpful. Once I decided to move forward, Joseph and his crew arrived quickly to begin the installation. Joseph was professional throughout the process, explained things clearly as the work progressed, and made sure everything was working properly before they left. The crew cleaned up thoroughly after the installation. Bryana in the office was incredibly supportive, responded very quickly to emails, promptly scheduled inspections, and made sure I had all the documentation I needed for the rebate process. I originally had a horrible experience with a separate HVAC company (A&G HVAC Solutions) that I was assigned to by First American Home Warranty. Long story short, I decided to go with Lee's HVAC. Had intermittent issues with furnace not cycling on. Raymond came out and arrived as scheduled. Extremely knowledgeable even on older equipment. Pinpointed the issue and ordered a replacement part. Magically, furnace started working again afterwards before repair. Raymond returned with the part a few days later as promised and saw that they furnace somehow was now running. He didn't try and push any repairs and graciously agreed to take the new part back, hold on to it for a few days and would come back with it if the problem returns. We had an emergency with our split AC not working in our server room causing the room to overheat, I contacted 3 different vendors before reaching out to Lee's. Lee was referred to me from my brother and I knew he was someone I could trust. That evening, we were able to get someone (Ray) out to assess the problem and ultimately we knew we had to replace the AC and condenser on the roof. It was a pleasant process, I didnt feel pressured in any way to complete the job if I didn't want to go through with it (though there were many decisions makers on my end that made it difficult for me to give LEE a final conclusion). Overall, the emergency call took place Thursday evening, the work could have been done Friday but it had to be pushed Friday morning. Everything was executed smoothly. It gets damn hot in the valley and this past week has been a doozy. Last night out of the blue our AC stopped cooling and we knew that today was going to be another scorcher. They completely redid all the duct work in my home, because the heating and cooling was not being distributed evenly, after their work was complete, we saw an immediate difference. So when my AC condenser completely broke down I called them immediately. They were able to come the next day and install the new condenser and new coil.
