They were able to come to our home a day after calling them which was good, but they arrived past the window we were given. This meant we had to wait around for a few hours wondering when they were going to show up. In the future it would be great if you could give your clients a more realistic window. Maybe give them a call a hour or two before you arrive. Also, don't show up an hour before your dental appointment, so you are rushing to get things done. Luckily things worked out and the problem was corrected, but rushing to finish isn't the best. read more

Jesse and Brandon came to my house and quickly resolved a sink blockage. Foothill Plumbing is exemplary in terms of knowledge, professionalism and actually caring about their customers. I have a home warranty that includes my plumbing. Before I found Foothill Plumbing, I would call the warranty company and pay only a small service fee for them to come out. I found the companies they sent to be lacking. They took no pride in their work and just slapped things together and had limited knowledge. I had a broken sewer pipe a couple of years ago which was not covered by the warranty company so on my neighbor's recommendation, I used Foothill Plumbing. This was a big and complicated job. I was very apprehensive that something might go wrong. Just the opposite was true. My experience was so good that I only trust them with any plumbing issues now. Feb. 07, 2025. My kitchen sink was clogged, so I called Foothill Plumbing, and Mike answered. He came out within a couple of hours. The first thing he noticed was that the P-trap piping was incorrectly installed, affecting the drainage system. After several attempts with the rooter, he finally cleared the clog. He also replaced the piping, simplifying the route to the drainage system, and installed a new garbage disposal. He got the job done, though it was expensive. At this point, I just wanted it to work properly. Our kitchen is one of the busiest parts of our home, so the sink needs to function reliably. The work took about three hours. read more

I was pleasantly surprised when they actually came on the dot at 2pm!! :) Two guys came to figure out what was wrong w my toilet. They were able to fix the issue and were out in 40 minutes. Quick, professional service! They also quickly looked at my sink but didn't fix it since they told me to buy a part myself and install it (which would be cheaper). I also had them clear some blockages in my kitchen area which turned out to be somewhat complex. One of the shut-off valves in our kitchen needed replacement. There was no water for almost a week and a half making it very difficult to wash dishes. My landlord called Foothill plumbing who showed up in an hour and a half and jumped right into fixing the problem. We had to shut down the water supply to the entire 9 unit complex. They helped contact each unit and after approval shut off the water and were able to fix the issue in under 45 min to an hour. During the work, they received numerous calls for quotes and help. They are so busy but the guy working on the issue continued to work while the other person fielded the call. All in all great work and handled promptly. They even clean up the place where they work and were polite. Overall great job. I cannot comment on the price as my landlord took care of it. read more

I have used Foothill Plumbing for years and always had good service until recently. I had a new tankless water heater install and the technician told me he was going to improve on the new installation and run two lines one for the front of the house and one directly to the back of the house, cost was $4,400, the work was done Nov 2024. I then had a backup in the bathroom they sent out somebody new since the tech I really like was out on leave, I wasn't impressed with the new tech but it was fixed and he recommended I replace another pipe I said ok after Christmas would be fine. They scheduled an appointment, when tech got there late in the day said never mind it doesn't need to be replace it would open a can of worms. No mention of a charge but the only harm was he scratched up my new paint but thought oh well it's outside no big deal. All was working well until I was no longer getting hot water in the back of the house. When I called the office I was hoping my original technician was back to work but no they sent out the one from before. He came out and said that probably because of the fires and having no electricity for a could have days the unit needed just to be unplugged and replugged in and that would fix the problem and said there is another harder way to reboot but that wasn't needed, but I asked him to show me in case it happened again I would know how to do it. He said he would need to charge me a service charge I said you must be kidding I just spent $4,400 for a device that was installed 3 months ago and you want to charge me a service charge please check with Mike the owner. Well that didn't fix the problem and couldn't get hot water in either of my 2 back bathrooms would get luke warm for a couple of minutes then cold. When I called to tell them there still was not hot water in the back of the house the office said we can't keep coming out and you refusing to pay us. I was stunned first time they suggested the work then said not to do it no mention of a charge. Second time was for a service on an expensive tankless that wasn't working 3 months later, I said please check with the owner. That night the owner came by between 4:00 and 5:00 He took a look at the unit and got the company on the phone where they did all of the diagnostic and the unit was working fine. Then Mike the owner said that the problem was with my shower fixtures and that I needed to get new cartridges to rebuild the fixtures and that he took my unit off of recirculating and that when the system on manual would learn my patterns. I did the test he told me too, ran my shower, bath and all my sinks still no hot water. When I texted him back he said they would no longer service my unit I was rude and disrespectful and didn't pay the service charge and to find another company they didn't need customers like me. Well I called the manufacturer looking for a plumber and asked them about turning off the recirculating and they said that was false. Called another plumber and the problem was fixed I knew it wasn't the unit, because the kitchen water was working, or my bathroom fixtures, but the way the piping had been installed was incorrect. I would never recommend this company, I've never ever had an experience like this. Be warned they only are nice when collecting your money! read more

Replaced the ejector pump and cleaned the septic tank of decades of accumulated debris. Removed exterior abs plumbing with pvc. The pump was correctly installed. Mike and Tom ensured that a 3/16 air bleed hole was drilled 8 inches above the the base of the pump. System tested. Works fine. Discovered that the sewage pipe in the septic tank had been clogged with weeds. I opted to have the pipe replaced. The pipe was pushing 100 years in age. Mike and Tom are professionals. They've seen every situation in residential settings. They removed the bricks, dug access to the pipe and replaced it. They patched up and cemented everything back to its original state.
