I had used Affordable Door previously and had a good experience, so I didn't hesitate to call them…read morewhen my garage door needed repair in March 2026. Unfortunately, this experience has been completely unacceptable. I signed a service agreement, paid a deposit, and was told the replacement panel for my damaged one would take 4-6 weeks. Two months later, after hearing absolutely nothing, I called them and discovered they had forgotten to place the order. They apologized and assured me it would be ordered immediately. After more weeks with no communication, I contacted them again in early July. I was assured they would look into the issue and provide regular updates. On July 24, I received a text saying the panel would arrive the following week and someone would contact me to schedule installation. Nearly a month later, after hearing nothing, I called again on August 20. They initially had no idea where the panel was. During that conversation, I learned the order apparently wasn't even placed until July 1--more than three months after I paid my deposit and more than a month after I had called them when they told me they had forgotten to place the order. The next day, I was told they had located the panel and it was ready for installation. Even then, it took nearly another week for someone to contact me to schedule. Installation was finally scheduled for August 31. I took the day off work and waited through the entire service window. At the end of the window, they called and asked if they could reschedule. That was the final straw. I canceled the job and requested my deposit back. The employees I dealt with were always pleasant, but at some point apologies become meaningless when nothing changes. Forgetting to place a customer's order once is a mistake. Failing to place it promptly after the customer discovers the mistake, repeatedly failing to provide promised updates, losing track of the order, and then wasting an entire day of the customer's time is a pattern of extremely poor business practices. After five months, I have no repaired door and am now waiting for my deposit to be returned. Based on my experience so far, I fully expect I'll have to chase them for that too. I cannot recommend Affordable Door.

Ed answered the phone and said he would come take a look, and he was here within 20-30 minutes. He said they could fix it, gave me a price, and gave me a time frame of when the technician could arrive. A few hours later, Eddie arrived and he was clearly skilled in his craft and took care of the problem within an hour. He also noticed that we had the incorrect spring for our door, without being pushy at all, he recommended that we replace it sooner rather than later or we may continue to have this issue. Based on our positive experience with Crews, we decided to have our spring replaced as soon as we could get it scheduled. Patrick called the following day, quoted us a price and scheduled us for the following morning. Steven arrived early the next morning and also was very skilled and had everything finished in less than an hour. We will definitely use this company going forward based on their timeliness, honesty with pricing, and the quality of their services.
