Precise and quick answer to questions. Responsive to detail regarding options and costs. I then hired JP's Garage Doors.and found them to be promptl and completely honest. Within minutes, they determined that my garage door did not open because of a defective electrical outlet and solved the problem without replacing the opener for the reasonable cost of a service call. I highly recommend this business and will hire them again without hesitation. read more

Very responsive and outstanding service. The ancient springs for the garage door on our detached "garage" finally rusted through, and they arrived and replaced the springs and other questionable old parts in a matter of hours. No crazy attempt to upsell, just fixed what needed to be fixed, and price/cost was very fair. Highly recommend! read more

Called JP Garage Doors to replace my garage door opener. Spoke with Javier, who quoted me a pretty good price, but our connection was fading in and out as he was in a bad-connection area, so he said to text him pics of the garage and he will call me within a half an hour or hour on his drive to DC when he's in a better connection area. I texted him and called him for the next several days with absolutely no response at all. Wasted a lot of time and effort trying to follow up with Javier, based on good yelp reviews, only to be blown off. read more

This is my second time using these guys. The first time in 2022 for a garage door repair which I already posted a review for. They did such a great job in 2022 that when I had another issue with my garage door come up recently I combed through my Yelp reviews to make sure I used the same company. Mr. Gomez and his assistant did an amazing job. They repaired the door spring and realigned my door so it opens and closes very smoothly (and much more quietly!). Everything was done is less than an hour. Absolutely love these guys. Even paid a little more than what he asked because of how happy I was with the service. Highly recommend JP Garage Doors if ever you have an issue. read more

Pedro was friendly and knowledgeable. He predicted the issue with my garage door early on, but made sure to rule out all other potential issues. The charge was very reasonable and my garage door is fixed! Highly recommend. read more

Javier and Pedro (JP) are very efficient and good at what they do. I needed a 2 car garage door replaced and they provided a quote for the items I needed and some additional suggestions. The pricing is great but more importantly are their expertise, professionalism, speed, attitude, and communications. All excellent! Can't recommend them enough. Please be patient, they are busy and doing installs all day long, they will get back to you and it's worth the wait. Good luck with your garage needs! read more

JP's Garage Doors - New garage door, looks much better than the one with bends in them - Garage Door Services Near Me - Alexandria, Virginia

We have worked with Javier for 2 garages now (2 separate houses). He is very professional, and very reasonably priced. At our first house, we had a roll up door and mirror installed, and we used him again to install a new motor and door when our belt snapped at our new house. He was honest in what he recommended and never felt like he was upselling. We would definitely recommend him and would use again in a heartbeat. read more

Great customer service. Came out the same day called and gave me a decent price. I will use them again

Called JP and he got to my house and fixed the garage door springs the same day. Competent, fast, friendly and reasonable cost repair. Will do buisness with them again. read more

Our garage door spring unexpectedly snapped over the weekend and we found ourselves in quite a bind without a functioning garage door. Javier and Pedro were able to come out first thing Monday morning, evaluated our door, and gave us several reasonable options of proceeding. They let us know that though they were more than willing to fix the spring and braces right then, that this would only be a band aid fix and replacing the door would be the better long term option, but at no point pressured us to go with the more costly fix. We ultimately did choose to replace the whole door and they quoted us a very fair price for the replacement and installation of a motor. In fact, we happened to have a general contractor at the house working on things the same day of the install, and he confirmed offhand that the pricing was quite fair, which was great to hear. The installation took place two days later and was quick and the door now works very smoothly. Our experience with JP was very positive and we could not recommend them more. read more

Wow. Just when you thought personal service was extinct. A father and son company, Javier and Pedro responded quickly to my Hail Mary racked garage door due to a broken cable Yelp request. I sent a few pictures and they provided a quick ETA. And arrived early! Super pleasant and knowledgeable. Provided the band-aid fix for the very old door I needed until I decide on a new door. And in the course replaced a bracket that needed replacing and oiled everything up. Door is the quietest it's been in 30 years. And were super helpful in discussing those options. And the cost? Tremendously reasonable. Highly, highly recommend!! read more

I spoke with Javier about installing my garage door opener. He gave me a price, and we agreed on a day and time. He said they couldn't do it the following week, and I agreed to wait one more week to get the job done. As the date drew closer, I called to confirm that everything was still on schedule. I had an installation question too. To my surprise, no one responded to calls or text messages. The installation date has come and gone, and I wasted two weeks. I have to rate this contractor as very unreliable and would recommend to people to pick a different installer. read more

JP's Garage Doors quickly responded to my queries with a fixed price quote. They came the next day on time, did a quick job and replaced our springs in 30-40 mins. And they were out in no time. JP's gave me an exact quote, not a range. He said he could do it the next morning, a Sunday, and arrived on time. He replaced the torsion spring, adjusted the door, lubricated the tracks and rollers, adjusted the safety system and checked the motor assembly. The job was completed in less than an hour. I was very pleased with the work and will use JP's again if I need service. read more

5-start service!!! My family had a small accident when a vehicle was backed out of the garage while the door was slightly lowered. They quickly repaired the damage and got the door working at a reasonable cost. I give them an A-plus recommendation! read more

Great father-son duo at JP's Garage Doors. I made an inquiry through Yelp to a few different garage door companies and Pedro was the first to respond. He asked me for a few photos and gave me a rundown of what to expect to get my garage fixed. The company that installed the garage didn't bolt the plate that holds the spring into the stud and just put it in the plywood resulting in my spring falling and my rubber belt snapping. They got everything taken care of quickly, were very transparent about pricing, and I am extremely happy with their service. They even gave me tips on how to increase the life of my garage door and its moving parts! If I ever have anyone who is in need of a garage repair - I'm going to point them in the direction of JP's Garage Doors. read more

This company promptly responded to my request. It did a good job at a competitive price.

I wish I could rate JP's Garage Doors higher than 5 stars. I reached out to 3 companies total and while they were all nice, Javier from JP's was the straightest shooter and seemed to be the most fair person. He was very informative and explained exactly what they'd do and how they'd do it. JP's provided a competitively priced quote and installed the electrical components and posts, where the other companies didn't do that. I had a rush job to put the posts in and they were able to meet that request, and then when the garage door arrived they contacted me with a day they were coming for installation, showed up on time and completed the work without a hitch! Making sure everything was in working order, making sure I knew how to work the controls, and they left the parking area cleaner than when they arrived. In conclusion, I highly recommend JP's Garage Doors! read more

I contacted JP's because my garage door opener had gotten damaged. My preliminary research led me to find out that my current opener was pretty old and speaking to Pedro on the phone he was able to confirm based on my description of the opener. Pedro suggested that I replace/upgrade the existing garage door opener based on the age. He suggested a unit and was able to install it the same day, actually within a few hours of the initial contact on their website. Also, upon arrival they performed a visual inspection of the garage door system and suggested a few additional safety items. They also replaced some components that were defective, old, and/or previously improperly installed. They were very respectful of the property, offered to dispose of the old system, and assisted in the setup of the new Smart Garage door opener. Going in I was expecting to spend a lot more than I did that day. The cost was more than reasonable and to top it it is obvious that they are passionate about garage doors, safety, and over all garage door system "health". Can't go wrong with these guys. Easy five stars!!! read more
