He quickly diagnosed and identified the solution, and implemented the solution in less than 1 hour. In short, the header bracket was not secured properly to the garage header, and the garage door was touching the center rail when opening and closing. He elevated the bracket and railing ensuring the bracket would be safely secured against blocking in the garage header and made other adjustments to ensure the garage door closed properly. Lord! My garage door keypad and remotes were not working and it was SO noisy. As luck would have it, I came across a post on Nextdoor; truly divine intervention. Adams Garage Doors LLC was responsive, very knowledgeable and personable. My schedule for the coming week was a bit hectic, so the owner came out on a Sunday. The price remained the same; no up-charge for the weekend work. I am amazed that my previously LOUD heavy wooden garage doors could open and close so quietly. I was sure that I had to replace them, but thank God that wasn't true. He did an amazing job: replaced the motors, cables and pulleys, tuned up/lubed, replaced the wall remotes inside the garage and the ones on the outside and I now have 4 working handheld remotes. I called this company because the spring on my garage door broke and I needed it fixed. He came quickly, in under an hour, but after he replaced the spring for some reason my safety sensor no longer worked. He tried another one and that didn't work. His only recommendation was to buy a new garage door opener, which wouldn't solve the issue because it seems like it's a wire issue, my garage door opener works fine. I have to find someone to do wiring because it seems like he doesn't? Which is why I knocked him down a point because if you don't do wiring, how do you install new garage door openers? He was very rushed and received 3 phone calls of people asking for services while he was here. I don't think I would call him again based on my experience. read more
