Our reservation was easy to make and the table was ready for us by our start time. The patio seating provided a great ambiance with the outdoor lighting, while keeping us warm under the heaters. Our server Sean needs a special shout out though. His attention to detail and kind, yet playful demeanor was extremely notable. We came in for a late lunch and were sat outside. Their outdoor seating didn't seem to be even half way full but our service lacked. After dropping off our bruschetta board, the server never came back to our table. Long after we finished our food and drinks a different server came to close out our bill. Updating a previous review that withheld 5th star due to lack of water service for my dog on the patio. They listened and I got a nice note from their Mgr of Customer experience apologizing and confirming they love pups on their patio. This time I went in, bowl with ice water promptly brought out. I admit food wise I find something I like at places like Postino's and stick with it. My favs these past couple months, the heirloom tomato and mozzarella finished with basil is pretty darn good, as well as the chicken/steak skewers, the French onion soup, and the mixed greens salad with either a chicken skewer or smoked salmon protein topper reigns supreme. You can't go wrong with the Brussels sprouts salad either. What really shines is the service. Anyone walking by can help you out, and everyone is friendly. At a time when many restaurants are cutting hours and capacity because of lack of service staff, Postino's doesn't have that issue. They are obviously doing something right at the manager/supervisor level to keep front line staff happy!! This really is my go-to place with the pup in Gilbert, but beware on the weekends, you are likely to experience long wait times for a table. No reservations read more

SEAN was our main waiter, he is very bubbly even though he had a table of 19 and several other tables. We never felt rushed and he always came with a smile and relaxed demeanor. We had 2 appetizers- mushroom fondue and the Burrata plate and then ordered a brushetta. All were amazing! Did you know that you can order wine to go for $20 a bottle. A ladies night out at Postino's. We tried to beat the rush and arrived before 5 pm. A 1 hour + wait for an inside table and 15 minutes for an outside table. Ok 15 minutes is good. We were seated near some misters. We ordered some bruschetta boards, chicken noodle with pesto soup and a chicken skewer. The bruschetta boards are just gorgeous and there were quite a few choices. The food is excellent as was the company. Parking can be a challenge on a Friday and weekends. Just be patient and you will find a spot for parking. Free street and lot parking with WiFi. read more

What a delightful place!! Happy hour has wine for $6!! You can sample varieties and not feel guilty!! We had a sparkling rose and a Riesling which were perfectly paired with our crispy cauliflower appetizer. It was a unique presentation with a fun flavor mix for your palette. We tried the pick four bruschetta and it was a home run!! We split a panini and it was toasted just right and the Gouda cheese was creamy and mouth watering. Super cute restaurant with lots of outdoor seating, the food was amazing we had the meatballs and a bruschetta board 10/10 soooo good. Also enjoyed a pitcher of the wow beer which is always one of my favorites, the fiore moscato was so sweet and went down like juice mmm . The only thing was our server didn't ever check in on us and then out of no where we had a totally different server without anyone saying anything so that was really weird, maybe if you have to leave in the middle of your shift just ask your table if they'd like to checkout (which we would have done) or introduce the new server. Great food and amazing atmosphere! The night life in downtown gilbert is so fun and beautiful to see everyone walking around and having a great time eating great food and drinking great drinks! It's best to grab a bunch of appetizers and snacks to share if you're out with friends and the tomato soup is amazing. Service is good, I believe everyone is serving all the tables but for the most part it's usually one or 2 servers checking on you the whole time. Service can be a little slower but it gives you time to enjoy yourself and catch up on good conversations with friends. read more
