Came here for food this time Charcuterie board- not a fan at all. Peppers had weird flavor, hummus was just ok. Crunchy pita should have been soft pita. Olives ok. Meats ok. Cheese ok. Just not a fan overall. Tried one of the boards with 4 diff bruschettas. Not a fan at all of the mushroom, Brie Apple, and the prosciutto. All were pretty flavorless. We went here with a group of about 12 for a celebration. Service was quick and really great considering our big group. We got the Nick's Board, and the bread board with the artichoke spread, Caprese, apples and Brie, and the strawberry cheesecake which was a special. We loved the artichoke the most. I met up a friend for happy hour! I love that they have happy hour from open to 5 pm. We were able to meet up when there was going to be no rush hour traffic. We picked a place that was in the middle of where we live. So it was perfect. We each got a glass of wine. And shared a bruschetta board. We got to pick four items and we got: Brie, apple &fig spread, fresh mozzarella, tomato& basil, prosciutto, fig & mascarpone and burrata, bacon, arugula& tomato. All good. My favorite was probably the Brie one. The fig gave it a nice touch of sweetness but not too sweet. I will definitely be back! The rest of the menu looks really good too. We went to Postino on Broadway this afternoon for lunch and had a great experience! We were seated promptly and they were super accommodating, recommending the best spot for us to sit with our baby in his car seat. This meant a lot bc it was our first restaurant outing since having a baby and I was stressed about how it would go, but Postino made everything so easy. I had a glass of French rosé that was dry and not too sweet. Then my husband and I shared the skewers, roasted red pepper soup, and a bruschetta board with: Prosciutto Di Parma, Fig & Mascarpone; Smoked Salmon & Pesto; Sweet N' Spicy Pepper Jam & Goat Cheese; and Burrata, Bacon, Arugula & Tomato. All were very delicious but I think my favorite was the smoked salmon & pesto. I also very much enjoyed the chicken skewer with the yogurt sauces it was served with. Like all Postino locations, the comfort is very good, but this Monday, April 28th, at the Koche I had a bad experience at this location. When I asked for a shot of Don Julio, the waiter shamelessly brought me a shot of 1942 (the most expensive Don Julio), without asking me, after I complained to him for not asking me, he got so offended that I had to go to the service bar to get my own plate of food, and the waiter sat in front of my plate getting cold, disappointing!!! read more

This review is a week late, but better late than never. We were warmly greeted by the hostesses upon our arrival. It truly goes a long way to have the first person/people we interact with at a restaurant to be kind and welcoming. It makes me feel like we're actually welcome there. First massive plus! We were seated at a high top close to the far end of the bar. It was bustling in there by 6pm, but we didn't have to wait long to be seated. The patio was an option but it was a little chilly for my blood. It was full of guests that didn't seem to mind the changing temps. Our server was an absolute delight. I wish I would've gotten her name. She reminded me of a magical flower-child...shorter blond hair, shimmery eye makeup, piercing eyes, warm smile...hopefully a manager reading this knows who I'm talking about because she deserves recognition for being one of the best servers I've ever had. From my perspective, it seemed like she genuinely loved life, and for her to exude that love at work says a lot about the environment there. We ordered the bruschetta board (artichoke, salmon pesto, prosciutto fig, and burrata bacon) and a glass of wine as an app. For dinner, we each ordered a panini (and I got another glass of wine because why not?). The boards are always a great way to start. They're fresh and I've never had a flavor profile I didn't love. The paninis were stellar as well! Way too big to finish in one sitting, but they made excellent leftovers the next day. I had the West Coaster, and it was delicious. This should be called Postino's Wine Bar to help someone new to Denver to know what this place is. We were in the area shopping for lighting at Urban Lighting and asked the saleswoman for cool places to eat. She said Postino. We love Italian so we headed there thinking we could get some pasta. The ambiance in the place is great - the seating, the lighting, the décor. It is a beautiful, comfortable place to hang out. They have indoor and outdoor seating. But once we looked at the menu, we realized this place is meant for couples or a group to sit and enjoy a great wine (or beer) while eating finger food. They do have what looked like a full bar in the back and there are also sandwiches, soups, and salads. But this is not a place you go to get a hardy Italian meal. I ordered the Pick Two. I had the soup of the moment - a spicy, broth with tomatoes, beans, and small pieces of sausage. It was very tasty. I also got a turkey sandwich on bread that seemed a little dry and crumbly. Maybe it was toasted. I realize my experience isn't typical of most patrons of this place who understand that wine and appetizer-type foods are why you come to Postino's. For what it is, it's a great place. I just wish we'd known before we walked in that it was a wine bar and not an Italian eatery. read more

One of my favorite places in Denver -- absolutely love the atmosphere. One of the times I went they gave free champagne because they were 10 minutes late seating our reservation. Not a big deal at all, but I appreciate the service! I also went on my birthday and they offered me a free dessert which was delicious. The food is always incredible, and I love how easily the bruschetta boards can be shared and I think they're reasonably priced. There's options for everyone, and for anyone with an allergy they have the option to make all their breads gluten free. The wine and champagne menu is large enough that you feel like you have options but not too large that it's overwhelming. Staff is friendly and servers will check in on each others tables when they're busy so you're never left waiting too long for service. read more

Ordered a bruschetta plate, which I assumed would be more of an appetizer size but was pleasantly surprised but the portions. You could choose 4 from a variety of options - and that was honestly enough to fill me up. I ordered the Brie apple fig, salmon pesto, prosciutto marsarpone, and the burrata bacon arugula. I honestly couldn't pick a favorite because they were all very tasty. The bread is a little softer than your typical bruschetta but it worked with all the flavors seeping into the bread. Everything paired really well together and I loved the variety and choices. Would recommend! Service was quick and friendly. Walked in on a Friday night put our name down for a table. We were told it would be 45 minutes. No problem and went to the bar. Great service friendly staff, drinks were great. One hour and 45 minutes goes by and we inquire about our table. There was an apology from hostess. about 10 to 15 minutes later we were seated at our table. 10 more minutes goes by and still no menus. We flagged someone down and we are given menus. 10 more minutes go by and we flag someone else down and ask if we can put in an appetizer. Now granted not one person has come over and told us they would be taking care of us. I Had no idea who our server was 10 more minutes goes by and we flagged down someone else and say hey this is an issue. We've been here well over two hours and we would like to put our order in and get a drink. We were told "that's the theme of the night. " It was not that busy. Ok. We have been very understanding and very patient up until this point. A sincere apology or identify a server would've been great. But we were told this is a team approach. Well there's a lot of holes in that team approach because we waited another 10 minutes to put in an order from a different person that came over. 2.5 hours and we got paninis. Food was good. staff is very very friendly, super great people, the food however is not great :( its very over priced for tiny portions, and none of the ingredients are good quality. the bruschetta's had very lackluster toppings and the quality of everything on the charcuterie board is just mid at best. it's priced way too high for what you actually get. just come for the wine and get your snacks elsewhere! read more

I'm a regular at the Postino LoHi location but wanted to give the Broadway one a try! Definitely a different vibe, but I like it. Park at one of the meters on the street (not too bad during happy hour) and stroll into the busy restaurant. With only two of us, my friend and I managed to get a booth right away. Sometimes the wait at Postino is insane. I got a glass of Chardonnay, and we collectively ordered a charcuterie plate, bruschetta, and creme brulee for dessert. What a treat for both of us. The pesto salmon bruschetta has always been my favorite. I'll usually get a variety of other options to try the specials and rotate between a few other usual suspects. I wasn't too keen on the flavors of the charcuterie plate, though. Overall Postino Broadway contributes to the great reputation of eateries on this street. Stop by for wine (wide selection) and bruschetta and check out any happy hour or board specials they have going on. Whether you sit indoors or outdoors, it's always such a cute and classy spot to visit! read more

Sat on the patio and enjoyed happy hour eats and drinks! Love this location. The patio is in the back so you don't get a lot of the traffic noise. Tried the cauliflower and 4 types of bruschetta.
