This place has nice ambiance, very dim and fancy looking. The bruschetta is very delicious, and we tried 8 different types! My favorite was one with goat cheese! We also got a charcuterie board which was also good! However, the service was quite slow even thought it was not very busy. Very few tables were full, but our server did not check on us frequently. They also had a stack of plates on the table for us to use and when we passed them out two of the plates were very dirty with food still on them. read more

I've never felt so unwelcome walking into a restaurant. The moment I entered Postino Broadway, I was scolded over a chair we used at the open bar. Then, to top it off, I was told to remove my personal water bottle -- something I carry for hydration everywhere. There's no reason a guest should be asked to discard their own water, especially when they're purchasing food and beverages. As a paying customer, I felt embarrassed and offended by how the situation was handled. The staff's attitude was unnecessarily harsh and completely turned me off from ever returning. I love having Postino's in the neighborhood! I joined their wine club recently, so I'm in pretty frequently to either claim the complimentary monthly glass or pick up my wine box. Staff are always friendly and helpful with recommendations, and the selection is fantastic. When I was hedging about ordering a full glass of some kind of orange wine they even let me try a bit first, which was appreciated. Food is great too - love those boards, and the panini/salad combo is a winner. It's no wonder this place is always packed - they're doing so much right. They've got indoor and outdoor seating, and a smallish parking lot out back. Plenty of metered parking if that's filled up. read more

This was our second visit and both were great experiences. Happy to be greeted and seated by our welcoming hosts who asked if we preferred at a table or booth. Booth please! Our waitress was very friendly and offered recommendations on the flatbread. I landed on the Warm Artichoke, Burrata Bacon, Salmon Pesto, and Prosciutto. We enjoyed all of them but I tasted my husband's sweet ham and goat cheese and it was perfect dessert last bite. I'd probably swap the Artichoke for it next time. I liked that the flatbread cuts could be shared easily and our son sampled a couple with his sandwich. My Pinot noir wine was nice and served a tiny cool which I prefer. I liked the baby carafe that I could pour a little bit into my glass myself. My son enjoyed his 9 Iron sandwich on Ciabatta. Nice that you get two bread options. Service was great, friendly, prompt. Street parking was easy to get but I forgot there is parking in the back. Last time we went to the axe whooping and came here with a big group of 10 and it was a nice night out. It was $70 for the pick your own charcuterie. It was three pieces of toasted bread with some toppings. Come here for a birthday brunch on a Saturday at noon. Plenty of seating when we arrived, the restaurant was half full and the service was good. By 1pm the place was packed and everyone was hustling. We had lots of good stuff off the brunch and lunch menu. Some good deals on wine by the glass and by the bottle. No bar but beer and wine options were solid. Boards, sandwiches, salads and lots of great flavors and colors. Really nice menu of options. Kids came and they had fun. There were some good options for them and we lingered for two hours. Probably 15 minutes too long. But they were generous given how much we spent and it was a birthday group of 9. They have an awesome patio for warmer days and the vibe inside is great. I have been coming here since they opened and I will tell you they have had the most consistent staff and the greatest service. They are incredibly aware of food allergies and are happy to accommodate. Their happy hour is the best how can you beat the $5 before 5 pm? I love the manchengo brussels salad and the steak skewers. They have the best dog friendly patio and Ace the Restaurant Dog has spent many days since he was a puppy hanging here. I rarely give a 5 star rating but the wait staff at Postino Broadway earned it! A friend and I decided to try Postino for our monthly Happy Hour. When we sat at a table on the patio it was warm, dry and thirsty. I couldn't wait for that first cold beer. But wait we did. 5, 10 minutes.. no one greeted us. Another few minutes and we were considering leaving. I waved at a server across the patio, got his attention as he was serving another table but said he'd be over shortly. Two minutes later another wait person came to our table and greeted us. She apologized very sincerely and explained that they had a technical issue and that another server had to leave. They hadn't updated something which caused them to miss checking on some tables. I kind of thought it was just a story and said to my buddy we should go elsewhere if the service is bad. We ordered beers off their best-around Happy Hour list and were served so fast! Seriously, I don't think you can beat their HH beer price anywhere these days! And from that point on the service was nothing short of amazing! At least 3 different wait staff checked in us regularly without being invasive or clingy. We ended up ordering food as well which we weren't planning on. I had a panini sandwich that was orgasmic! We were truly impressed with their service and are going back real soon. Things happen, that's life. And in a service business that can be a business killer if you don't recover. Postino wait staff not only recovered, they blew us away! Postino is just pretty great. And this space is awesome, too. Their Board & Bottle specials on Monday/Tuesday starting at 8pm cannot be beat! It's a bottle and 4 bruschettas for $25. So good! Realizing that 8pm is really late to eat, but that's why they choose less popular days/times to have this great deal to keep the place packed. I just plan/eat accordingly that day. I don't have a problem sitting for 2+ hours finishing a bottle of wine (lol) but if you do, they will seal it for you to take home, as well. I absolutely love the artichoke and salmon bruschettas, I always have to get them both and then decide on the other 2. I'm glad they have a rotating bruschetta option to always have a new board to try if it sounds worthy. It's a go-to spot for me! read more
