I had stopped here since I was out in Westfield. I wanted a chicken sandwich and salad from here. The order taker took a minute even though it was only one car in front of me. I would've thought it would be quicker but I think they may have been having some difficulties going on. I opted to do the drive thru since it was cold outside and I didn't really want to get out of my car. The order menu was lit up well and the pictures were nice. This place is a little on the expensive side but it is good. I was satisfied with my food.

Food is good and service is fast. Patio is a beautiful place to eat. Prices are a little expensive, and I didn't like that.

Great fast food spot. Service was quick if not exactly friendly. Old school diner style inside. Everything was hot and as described.

Service was so fast! We tried Portillos for the first time. We tried the dipped Italian beef loaded with sweet veggies, a loaded hot dog and cheese fries. Sweet pickled veggies, tomatoes and a sesame seed bun with the hot dog was SO GOOD! The dip?! Even better. Great beer in a big glass goblet. Clean lobby and tables. Family friendly. Delicious food. Friendly staff. It was worth the hype.

Another Portillo's? They seem to be everywhere these days and that's fine with me. The 1950's decor is nostalgic in every way to the tables, the records hanging on the wall and the signage. There's plenty to look at between bites of that dipped beef sandwich, with hot peppers. Maybe the chicken sandwich or a salad. How about the chicken tenders? Definitely the cheese fries, and don't bother with a small order of fries. Why is a small fry even an option? The correct option is a large cheese fry. The 50's music makes the experience all that much better as you eat away relaxing and enjoying this well done nostalgic themed Portillo's.

Portillo's is always fun. The facility is large m, clean and beaming with activity. The staff her hustles and is moderately friendly as those focus on hustling you along. On this day the place was packed with ball players. This facility is close to a large ball park. So.. you might hit long lines if you don't time the ball games correct. The lines and wait times were long. This for a little frustrating for our party of four. The food moved right along until it got to the person who assembles the sandwiches. I thought it was odd that no one stepped up to help this per lady who was the bottleneck of the food assembly line. The outside patio was a great choice on this warm day. Lots of space inside and outside. All areas were comfortable and clean. I had the cheese burger on this trip. The meat was very tasty and cooked perfectly. The burger was moist and oozed taste. The lettuce, tomato and pickles were a good complement to a very good sandwich.

I've always been a fan of Portillos. I was happy when one opened up in Westfield. Now that they've been open for a few months, I am surprised that it takes this long to get the order from the drive-through. With it being a new restaurant, I was more than patient with the new location and it's employees. However, over the past few months, the service and speed of the food being delivered has diminished. Disappointing.

My youngest son has been obsessed with empanadas ever since he tasted them at an event we attended…read morea while back. So, I decided to take my dear son to Gringtinos to eat some empanadas, because this Latin-ish restaurant has several different varieties on the menu. We sat down, looked at the menu, and my son wanted a cheeseburger, instead. Oh, kids! You gotta love them, right? (Right?) Luckily, Gringtinos has a kids menu that includes a cheeseburger, as well as a quesadilla and boneless wings. My son said that the cheeseburger was the best that he's had in a long time, so there you go. If you want a great kids' cheeseburger, visit Gringtinos. I was there for empanadas, so I got us a few: barbacoa, chicken, ground filet and street corn. We loved all of them, but the ground filet was probably our favorite (it was basically ground beef). We also ordered the yucca fries, which are served with white queso. They were like regular potato fries, but more earthy and dense. One order can feed two or three people -- they're very filling, with an interesting texture. I'm glad I ordered them. The service was OK, but we had to ask for plates, even though the server saw us dripping empanada juice all over our napkins. (It's like, hello! Yes, plates would be good. Bring us plates.) I'm also not a fan of servers not writing down my order, and instead, trying to memorize everything I say. I'm not impressed! It makes me stressed! Please, for the love of everything that's holy, just write down my order. It's truly OK to write things down. I promise. The construction around Gringtinos is murder, but don't fret. There is parking in the back, off of a gravel road. Once you park, enter through the back and you're good to go.

Aside from the bar, the restaurant wasn't busy. The service was lackluster and inattentive. We…read morewanted to try it because of the reviews praising the food. That was now our experience. We usually prefer to eat in the bar to avoid some of the crowds that fill the regular dining room areas, to check out any of the sporting scene that might be on one of their TVs, and the service typically seems pretty prompt. Mark S was very efficient for us today. Appreciate their happy hour offerings [Monday-Thursday 3:00-5:30] of half off appetizers and $3 off various beverages. Today we shared the Bru Fries (regularly $9), Soft Pretzels (regularly $12), and the Triple Dip (regularly $15). If you like your fries with a dark natural cut and a mix of crunchy and soft, these nail it. They come with House Ketchup (REALLY sweet), Black Pepper Mayo, House Chipotle BBQ Sauce and are a pretty decent value at half price. The pretzels are OK. I'm not convinced they are made in-house, but they're fine. They come as an order of 3 plump sticks with a beer cheese, which seems more like a basic nacho cheese, and a spicy mustard that is pretty good if you like mustard with just a little something extra. Not sure they're a must order for future visits, but they're not a horrible deal at $6. Might ask for the mustard with other menu items. The Triple Dip has long been our go-to, although they substituted our favorite option of the dips for a lesser option. It used to come with a goat cheese, which was awesome, but it has been replaced by a pimento cheese dip that is OK. It still includes solid dip options of hummus and guacamole with grilled naan bread and onion straws. I would trade the pimento cheese and onion straws to get the goat cheese back. Overall, still enjoy the environment, service and food and find the happy hour offerings to be a very good value. Just wish they would bring the goat cheese back and improve the flavor of their beer cheese option.

These were really good. The sauce to dip them in as well, was such a great combination. I want to take my husband back just to try those fried green tomatoes. If you have tasted a lot of FGT, don't go by advice, because I do not have another option to compare them to. I'm gonna give it a 4 star review because there were a few persistent flies. I don't know if it was because we were sort of near the front entrance and a draft was bringing the flies in. But they would not go away. Which was offputting. No one likes to be flapping their hands around while trying to talk and eat to make sure flies aren't getting on their food.

You order at a counter and they call your name for pick up. They have a small seating area. There are four 4 top tables. There is one 6 top table. The tenderloin sandwich was large. You can get a large sandwich for $10.95 or an extra large for $13.95. They have over 20 different condiments to add to your sandwich. For sides, they have french fries, onion rings, mac & cheese, baked beans, and chips. They are priced separately. They serve Coke products, which we really like! Our tenderloin sandwich was served hot and fresh. We got it with lettuce, tomato, pickle, and onions. They have a variety of sauces you can add as well. Since the seating area is small, my wife snagged us a table while I went to the counter to order. This was probably our mistake. Our order was priced incorrectly in that we only got the tenderloin Tuesday discount on one of the tenderloin sandwiches. We probably both should have gone to the counter and ordered separately. We got sauces on the side and my wife got the ranch and I got the fiery ranch. However, when we picked up our bag at the counter, my sauce was not included, although it was on the printout of our ticket. So, technically you could say both our order and our bill were incorrect Although the bill, you could say, was also our fault since we did not order separately. That being said, we have gone to other establishments on Tenderloin Tuesday and had one bill and we both received the discount. The tenderloin sandwich was OK and fairly priced given market conditions. Would we return? If we were on the far east side of Carmel, we would stop in again. However, we would not drive all the way here from the far west side of Carmel just for the tenderloin sandwich. If you are near their location, stop by and give them a try.
