This place was a fun stop on the road. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I got there around when it opened so it was not very crowded.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I sampled some whiskeys per the attachments and found some unique flavors to enjoy. I got the sweet sausage with peppers and onions sandwich and very much enjoyed it. I think this is a good value for the money. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place has a comfortable atmosphere and is clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If I lived in the area, I would be interested to come back for an event or when the tasting room was open to see what that experience would be like.

Tried this place for the first time tonight and what a great find! I ordered the boneless wings in honey garlic, extra wet and it was ! [[HIGHLIGHT]]It wasn't too loud, but I have heard it can be in the summer.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our sever Natalie was great, super friendly. I look forward to our next visit!

We made a reservation here after our daughters soccer game in Westfield. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The distillery looks really cool, inside and out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were seated promptly upstairs and noted that the place is SUPER loud.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We had several different servers, as our original was busy with a few large parties. I ordered a bloody mary, my hubby a beer. I was a bit disappointed there was no salt rim as described, and my hubby thought the 12 ounce pour looked more like 10, but we didn't complain. The food was good! My daughter loved her pesto salmon. My hubby had a bbq burger and fries. I tried a fry. It was ok. I had fried green tomatoes and a wedge salad. I didn't care for the sauce that came with the tomatoes, but loved them nonetheless! Service was quick and friendly , our water was always refilled, and we lacked for nothing. Overall, we'd come back after a soccer game, but wouldn't go out of our way to come here.

The place is clean and Modern located with o In the West Fork Whiskey Company and Distillery so it's a Win Win. Each menu item gives you a well thought out Whiskey suggestions that pairs well and let me tell they were spot on with the Suggestions. The Menu is small and not over whelming this keeps it fresh and high quality. When you walk thru those doors the host greets you with a smile and that service continues thru your whole meal

We were nearby at the Grand Park Sports Campus and were thrilled to see a nice lunch spot so close by. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We ate out on the terrace because we had a puppy with us.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant was pretty wide open.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Most of the cars in the lot must have been there for the distillery tour. Service was very attentive, bringing everything we asked for. They also brought a bottle of water right when we sat down, which was nice. We all opted for the fried tenderloin sandwich. It was delicious! We also enjoyed the fried Brussels sprouts and the Aperol spritz. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Perfect for a summer day.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Was impressed that on a bone-chilling night this place was rockin'.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] No seats available but shame on us for not making a reservation. But hey, we got a good seat at the bar! My SO devoured the Mash burger and commented on its juiciness and flavor with a solid 9 out of 10 rating. Fries cost extra - these were of the standard frozen-to-fry variety and not sure if worth the extra bucks. For the price I would have expected something more original. I was feeling my holiday cookie thighs so decided on the arugula salad with chicken. Super fresh with excellent goat cheese! However, the chicken was a tad dry and they forgot to put my dressing on the side. Wine selection was extremely limited. Overall, a decent experience yet a bit pricy for the value. Will give it another try soon.

Sometimes you really, really want to give a restaurant a good review, but you can't do it. The Mash House, located inside West Fork Whiskey, is one of those places that I would love to fully support, but all three times I've been there, the word "mediocre" even sounds like I'm being charitable. Food: I've been here three times, and all three times I've been disappointed. The sliders had a massive, dry bun, which ruined the entire concept. Keep in mind that White Castle is where the whole 'slider' concept came from, and their buns are steamed, almost to the point of melting in your mouth. I should never almost choke on a slider bun. Service: Last night's service was decent, but my other two visits left me wondering if anyone actually works here. Drinks ran dry, and huge groups of guests sucked all the attention away from a couple (my wife and I) just trying to order dinner. Ambiance: So, I'm a fan of whiskey, Bourbon, and distilleries in general. But, this place is loud. I mean, really loud. There's a "Chipotle" type of industrial decor thing happening here, and all that wood and metal doesn't absorb sound. Then, when you add a guitar-playing 1-man-band downstairs, you'll be screaming just to be heard. There are a lot of reviewers who have given this place great ratings, so take my review with a grain of salt. Not every restaurant is a match for every customer, but in this case, it's a 'three strikes and you're out' deal for me.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Great bartender, good music and expansive menu.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Loved the charcuterie board! [[HIGHLIGHT]]They had live music and chill vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Great place to spend a cold Thursday evening trying some new whiskey. Love that you can sample.

Visited The Mash House for Tenderloin Tuesday. The Tenderloin Sandwich was huge. I cut the tenderloin in half and took it home for a full size sandwich the next day. It wasn't cheap ($14 regular price) but I was participating In Hamilton Counties Tenderloin Trail so I had a $2 off coupon. Definitely worth that considering it made two lunch meals. My wife got the Pulled Pork Sandwich for $14. Again, not the cheapest lunch ... she did not have leftovers. But it was delicious and we would both get our meals again. Service was wonderful. Attentive, order was accurate, and bill was correct. Very customer oriented. We will return.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a great spot to come for cocktails after work, watch the game with friends or even host your next event.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Plenty of craft cocktails & local beers to choose from. Fried green tomatoes & cheese curds are a must. I ordered shrimp & risotto off the Friday special menu and would definitely order again. Service was quick and thorough, drinks never went dry.

Walk in and the host was super nice and made us feel welcome and told us a little about the place as we told them we had never been. The mash house area was nice and clean and the servicer Ariel was super nice and helped us with picking out delicious food. The cheesecurds were delicious - as someone from Wisconsin I can be judgey on them. The burger was super tasty and if you love pickles they had HUGE ones on the sandwich. My friend loved her tenderloin too. Highly recommend checking it out. Kid friendly too from what we saw during the day.

So, I decided to take my dear son to Gringtinos to eat some empanadas, because this Latin-ish restaurant has several different varieties on the menu. We sat down, looked at the menu, and my son wanted a cheeseburger, instead. Oh, kids! You gotta love them, right? (Right?) Luckily, Gringtinos has a kids menu that includes a cheeseburger, as well as a quesadilla and boneless wings. My son said that the cheeseburger was the best that he's had in a long time, so there you go. If you want a great kids' cheeseburger, visit Gringtinos. I was there for empanadas, so I got us a few: barbacoa, chicken, ground filet and street corn. We loved all of them, but the ground filet was probably our favorite (it was basically ground beef). We also ordered the yucca fries, which are served with white queso. They were like regular potato fries, but more earthy and dense. One order can feed two or three people -- they're very filling, with an interesting texture. I'm glad I ordered them. The service was OK, but we had to ask for plates, even though the server saw us dripping empanada juice all over our napkins. (It's like, hello! Yes, plates would be good. Bring us plates.) I'm also not a fan of servers not writing down my order, and instead, trying to memorize everything I say. I'm not impressed! It makes me stressed! Please, for the love of everything that's holy, just write down my order. It's truly OK to write things down. I promise. The construction around Gringtinos is murder, but don't fret. We usually prefer to eat in the bar to avoid some of the crowds that fill the regular dining room areas, to check out any of the sporting scene that might be on one of their TVs, and the service typically seems pretty prompt. Mark S was very efficient for us today. Appreciate their happy hour offerings [Monday-Thursday 3:00-5:30] of half off appetizers and $3 off various beverages. Today we shared the Bru Fries (regularly $9), Soft Pretzels (regularly $12), and the Triple Dip (regularly $15). If you like your fries with a dark natural cut and a mix of crunchy and soft, these nail it. They come with House Ketchup (REALLY sweet), Black Pepper Mayo, House Chipotle BBQ Sauce and are a pretty decent value at half price. The pretzels are OK. I'm not convinced they are made in-house, but they're fine. They come as an order of 3 plump sticks with a beer cheese, which seems more like a basic nacho cheese, and a spicy mustard that is pretty good if you like mustard with just a little something extra. Not sure they're a must order for future visits, but they're not a horrible deal at $6. Might ask for the mustard with other menu items. The Triple Dip has long been our go-to, although they substituted our favorite option of the dips for a lesser option. It used to come with a goat cheese, which was awesome, but it has been replaced by a pimento cheese dip that is OK. It still includes solid dip options of hummus and guacamole with grilled naan bread and onion straws. I would trade the pimento cheese and onion straws to get the goat cheese back. Overall, still enjoy the environment, service and food and find the happy hour offerings to be a very good value. Just wish they would bring the goat cheese back and improve the flavor of their beer cheese option.

Super friendly staff. We chatted with the hostess for a bit about the other Family of Grindstone restaurants. We started with the short rib poutine. I also love the added touch of the scallions. For our meals, I had the Jambalaya pasta which was a large serving with plenty of meat, my husband had the tenderloin sandwich (which was massive and the best he said he has ever had on all of his trips to Indy) and our friend had the piggy melt grilled cheese (Mac and cheese and pulled pork!) That sandwich had incredible flavor and I said I'm getting that next time. We ended the meal with bread pudding bites as the photos on here looked delicious and the waitress recommended them. They certainly did not disappoint. The restaurant has a bit of a nicer vibe and there are certainly some people that were there dressed better than us, but it is not a stuffy atmosphere. Delicious food for very reasonable prices. Good beer selection as well.

For sides, they have french fries, onion rings, mac & cheese, baked beans, and chips. They are priced separately. They serve Coke products, which we really like! Our tenderloin sandwich was served hot and fresh. We got it with lettuce, tomato, pickle, and onions. They have a variety of sauces you can add as well. Since the seating area is small, my wife snagged us a table while I went to the counter to order. This was probably our mistake. Our order was priced incorrectly in that we only got the tenderloin Tuesday discount on one of the tenderloin sandwiches. We probably both should have gone to the counter and ordered separately. We got sauces on the side and my wife got the ranch and I got the fiery ranch. However, when we picked up our bag at the counter, my sauce was not included, although it was on the printout of our ticket. So, technically you could say both our order and our bill were incorrect Although the bill, you could say, was also our fault since we did not order separately. Allow me to back up to our arrival. It was a nice day out, a little warm, but the patio is shaded. We asked if we could sit outside, as there were no other guests seated there at the time and the interior seemed rather dark and drab. Shortly after we were seated, my husband went inside to use the facilities and overheard the hostess telling our server that there was a table outside. She responded with a disappointed sounding "OUTSIDE?!" He returned to the table and told me about this as we reviewed the menu and specials while enjoying the little bucket of popcorn that they provide to each table, free of charge. The server, and her trainee, did take a while to come to our table, but she had a great attitude when they did. There was another server with a trainee shadowing him. They are also hiring, for anyone interested. We chose a peach margarita pitcher for $15. It was advertised on the sidewalk chalkboard like a special, but that is the regular menu price. It was the world's tiniest pitcher, but we still didn't finish it, so I guess it was perfectly-sized for the price. We also ordered potato skins as an appetizer. They were a bit stingy with the cheese, but extremely generous with the green onions. They were cooked well. Crispy skin with a fluffy, pillowy, potato inside. My husband, feeling more snacky than actually hungry, ordered two appetizers as his meal. He had the mini corndogs (very crunchy and delicious) and the onion rings. He said that everything hit the spot. The beer-battered fish came with two HUGE filets. They came to the table hot and crisp, but by the time I got them home, the beer-batter had gotten a bit soggy and grease-soaked. The side salad had huge chunks of iceberg lettuce (barely chopped) and some of the pieces were a bit brown around the edges. Sitting on the patio was nice and although there were several bees in the vicinity, the real flowers in the planter boxes surrounding the patio kept them distracted. After we ordered, several more patrons arrived and requested seating outside as well. There was a country playlist going and at least one of the songs had some pretty colorful language. As I heard the "MF" bomb drop for the second time, I looked around at the families with children sitting nearby. They appeared to be unphased. We noticed a dog bowl with "Roots" on it, so I'm guessing that they are pet-friendly. Eventually, I do want to return and try some of their burgers out.
