I've been twice now: Date night and work event. Food is good and drinks very reasonably priced. Price for games is good too: nice you can play all night for one fee. Courses are fun, and move at a good pace for two couples. Only complaint is that the drink service is horrible when playing. They are slow and regularly mess up orders. They need more runners: missing out on a lot of money when you can't get drinks timely. Place is clean, and has numerous spaces to enjoy yourself. We plan on going back in the future. read more

If you're a golfer, you'll love this place. Both courses were very enjoyable. Love that it's also unlimited play. It wasn't busy so it was a great experience even though it was 100 degrees outside. They had a lot of water stations and cold, ice towels to help you keep as cool as possible. We ate luck after golfing and both of our meals were very good. Tried out the new Popstroke last Saturday. Great value all you can play for $25. The place features 2 18 hole putt put courses. The good part ends there. Let's talk service. We arrived when they opened early at 10am. It's hot in Houston and I get it but I have never seen more employees doing absolutely nothing standing around. We were mid way thru our first course when we came upon a sort of refreshment station they have. The young woman they had working their was rude and didn't really care about her job apparently. We stopped to pay for some waters and you would think we insulted her. We attempted to pay and the card terminal was inoperable so we hay was a whole thing - So we paid cash. We handed her a $20 and she was clearly upset when we ask for change. We thanked her and said perhaps they should get thing working since it's the weekend and they are prob going to have big crowds. She didn't like that, she said she didn't care and we said we're sure Tiger would not like that and she said Tiger doesn't give a shit about anything that is happening there and we said well alrighty then, let's move along. Later we attempted to order food but requested to sit inside and the bartender handed us menus and we proceeded to order. Only 5 minutes later to be approached by another employee to be told we were advised incorrectly and if we ordered food it could only be served outside, not inside. At this point we realized this place is severely poorly managed and the people they have working there are a joke. So knowing that we could leave and return for more golf we went and had a great lunch at the Korean BBQ next door. After lunch we returned to find people eating items from the outside menu inside. So clearly the management here is extremely poor. And let me be clear I am not confusing the foods offered inside as opposed to outside. The indoor area featured an ice cream counter. All in all the place is really cool. The sad part is, is that it could be so much more. For being in Houston and in the summer I would suggest attendees walking the course with drinks upselling and adding water misters to try and bring some comfort while playing. They could easily set up systems throughout the course. Bottom line is, go there for the golf , expect nothing else because the employees are clueless and lazy and just really don't care about delivering any kind of service. Where's management? read more

This place is alright at best. The courses are fun, but probably only in the evening or in the fall or early spring. It is insanely hot out on the course, with no shade. My poor son only lasted 3 holes. He was about to faint and got a heat rash. He sat by the water jug the rest of the time. We were all dying out there. Where you eat is also outside. Thought this was putt-putt with cool decorations and fun obstacles in your way as you played, but it was just two miniature golf courses that had slight variations from hole to hole. My fault for not doing research and it was too late to turn back once we were there since a commitment had already been made. The staff was nice and polite. The place is modern and clean. There is good music playing and it's a fun atmosphere. It is slightly pricey per person at $25 to play golf and the wait time in between holes is long and this was on a Tuesday. I can only imagine how long it takes as you wait for other people to finish on the weekend. Huge putt putt course (two courses) but expect to be here for awhile as it gets pretty busy and there is a line at each hole. There is a bar mid course to get a refreshment, which is a nice touch! We grabbed a table after our game to order some snacks and drinks, the restaurant area was kind of a shit show; the hostess was confusing, they use an app to order, but it wasn't working and after hunting down an actual server, it still took awhile to get an order placed. Had a corporate event here yesterday, and they took great care of us! The food was good (I had the Korean beef tacos). Good selection of beer too. Everyone had a great time and we will be back when it cools down. We went on their opening weekend and expected them to be working out some kinks regarding food and service.. quite the opposite. I'll start by saying this place has the potential to be great for the area. It's next door to plenty of places to eat, arcades and even the new dug out spot. So the wife & I went to check it out. Great atmosphere. Drinks were pricey as expected and the place was jammed packed. In 2 hours we got thru maybe 3 holes before we choose it was no longer worth the wait. Like I mentioned in the beginning this place has the potential. Maybe a cut off for the amount of ppl allowed on the course would help for a better experience. I don't think this place expected how massive the turnout would be so making the place bigger with more course if possible would help a ton. read more

So far... not great. The best thing this place could do is add shade awnings over the course! I'd come back for the golf ten times if shade was more available. Come on Tiger, this isn't a professional course (kids running and cutting between holes while playing), give us some shade. That would be doing it different :) It's fun with a group or for a date! They do have a bar midway through the course which is nice. Otherwise you have to download an app and order drinks through there (hate this part, come on guys!). We did the difficult course, which wasn't that difficult, then stopped for a bite to eat. You still have to download their app to even order food which I find extremely annoying. Nothing was fast except the ice cream maybe. Burger was alright, Parmesan fries were my favorite. Our appetizers came out with our food and we had to order our drinks through the app and when they never came we finally had to go to the bar to ask for them. There is no quick access to restrooms while you are on the course, only one entrance/exit which I understand but put a restroom on the course. All the water stations were empty most of the time. They need a drink holder near the hole on the course (there is one at the beginning of each hole but not the end). The Mezcal mango Mezgharita tasted like a can of tobacco, I had to send it back. I've had Mezcal before and, after several others tried my drink as well to make sure it wasn't just me, agreed to send it back as well. They did not take this off our check (because you order through the app remember, and you pay for everything, even tipping for service, before anything is rendered). Half the bar top was also in the sun, seats too, all black-top so scalding hot when trying to sit down for a drink. I couldn't rest my arms on the bar it was so hot. For accommodating such large crowds at times there are only two bathroom stalls in the front, and only three stalls near the back, not enough bathrooms. Not enough parking as well! Many people were parked in the fire lane. I probably won't go back here again to be honest. My husband won't come back solely for the fact you have to download an app and pre-tip for food/service. Hopefully they hear some of these recommendations and improve the experience. read more

I think they need to limit the amount of people playing at a time. The golfing area is small. The app was not working when I went. They were understaffed when so chances are we would have been waiting forever for drinks even if the app was working. If you lose a ball, they charge for another so maybe bring your own extras This is a message to the actual golfers...CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF. People would just leave their trash and they have plenty of convenient trash containers on the course. read more

Very fun course! The course is slightly slippery so be aware, my kids were falling around a bit haha! It is very hot during the summer and the course is outside so be prepared to sweat if you go around noon plus on the course itself there aren't any fans. My family had fun! We were lucky and didn't get stuck behind a big or slow group. Or a group with strollers and toddlers (yes people were pushing around huge strollers on the turf)‍I personally wouldn't say it's good for elementary aged kids. Courses are kinda tough and I saw a lot of little ones were not really being watched by their parents. That is not PopStroke's fault - that's a parenting issue. The reason for losing a star is because it was WILDLY overly priced. For a family of 4 adults, it was $108. That's kind of insane. Yes it's an all day pass but there's only 2 courses so that's a bit steep. We didn't stay all day. We didn't order food or do anything else since it was already so expensive to play. I know they won't change their prices because of this review lol but it's something to note if you're wondering about the cost. $25 per person (not including tax). Fairly nice staff. My girlfriend and I planned a date night for Saturday and were excited about the concept. Unfortunately, the experience fell short of the excitement we had. While the mini golf itself was good, the long waits to begin each hole drained the fun out of the experience. The place was a madhouse - I expected it to be busy, but this was another level (we even had to park across the street), and the 18 hole course took over 2 hours to finish. In addition, they need more water stations across the course. It isn't easy to walk out from the course once you start, and we were dehydrated by the time we found a water station halfway through the course. This place was really hard to review because they were AMAZING in some ways and TERRIBLE in others. All-in-all, though, the night was a success, though. In summary: the staff is friendly, the putt putt is fun, and it was a lot of fun; but the bartenders are incredibly inconsistent, the food we got came with different ingredients than what was on the menu, and you're forced to download and use a very poor mobile app to order food and drinks. Pros: $25 for all day putt putt that you can come and go at your leisure is a pretty good deal. Just hold on to your receipt and you'll be able to get back in with no problem. The employees were all very friendly and appeared to be working hard to keep up with the service. We had exceptional service from people including a young lady who let us use their plates and silverware for my wife's birthday cake. The facility is new and the two available putt putt courses are nice. Food and drinks are appropriately priced for what it is. Cons: The food and drink service leave a lot to be desired. We waited for a half hour for a server when we first arrived before I finally went to go ask a host how we get food. Apparently there are instructions on the side of the paper towel dispenser at each table, with a QR code that forces you to download an app on your phone if you want to order. That should have been made more clear so we didn't waste time sitting around. This was also bad news for us because my wife's phone is already dead and mine is at 14%. So our only way of ordering food and drink is limited based on us not knowing how important personal cell phones were to the functionality of this place. I also don't like downloading restaurant apps. I know it's a popular thing to do, but I have security concerns with that, so I don't like being forced to download an app in order to eat and drink. Lastly, the app is just not working well for ordering. When at the table, we would order drinks and they would come out wrong. 2 girls ordered the same drink and they were noticeably different colors and one came with a lime wedge while the other did not; and we had missing lime wedges with other drinks that were supposed to have them. One person at our table didn't receive her coke with her meal and we had to go back up and request it twice before we got it. And then the food situation is just madness. One girl ordered nachos and it came with a pile of shredded lettuce on top. The menu doesn't say it comes with lettuce and she hates it so I had go request no lettuce before they made my wife's nachos. Other items, like the chef's special, just lack a description; Like "Anna's Sopes" with absolutely no description of what that is. Lastly, you can order drinks on the course, but the app makes you deliver it to the hole you're playing. That's problematic because you're usually one or two holes away by the time the drink comes out so the poor wait staff is walking around aimlessly looking for the the person who's name was on the card that paid for the drink. This place is a great concept but like everything in Houston, it's over marketed by influencers. We visited on a freezing cold and windy night and we still had to wait at least 10 minutes on each hole to play. We were there for 3 hours and still didn't finish all the holes. There was only a small parking lot. We parked across the street at whiskey cake. There were only two bathrooms open which was insane for the amount of people that were there. There were people walking in and grabbing putters and balls and going out to play on the course without paying. There was no regulation. There's also no regulation on how many people get to be on the course at a time. The service was good. The food is average bar food, most of which was over priced and served cold. Buckets of beer are not on the menu- so just ask. If you sit at a table I would ask for service instead of using the app to order and pay every time you want a drink. (The bartender didn't tell us this was an option until after the 4th time she had been tipped on alcohol). I'll visit when the hype wears off. It's miserable to visit right now unless you just let your kids run off and you sit and drink lol. read more

Nice layout. Seating outdoors and some indoors. We ordered Wings along with fresh cut Garlic Fries. Wings are huge so two of us could not finish the 12 in the order. Pricing seems fair for the food. TV's available for viewing while near bar area for sporting events. There is a nice covered playground for little ones to play while parents can enjoy a drink. Some things I would change would be the set up for playing mini golf. There should be some sort of way to space out how many people mini golf. Right now it's a free for all where there is so many people on the courses that your spending more time waiting to play a hole. It's too crowded especially weekends. Maybe if they set up tee times between groups by 10 minutes that might help with spacing. Pricing seems high. $25 bucks per adult and $15 for kids. We're a family of 3 and paid 70 bucks just to play.
