Play campfire. So cute!
Taylor T.

After seeing the new Play Street Museum a few times when passing through this shopping center, I figured it was time to take my kiddos to give it a try. Let me just say--they had a BLAST! Play Street is a fun kid's activity + play "museum" right next to a couple restaurants and coffee shop (perfect for you busy mamas who need some playtime). The museum has SO many fun activities from "real life" houses/grocery store/canoe/RV/etc. to toys, science activities, blocks and books, arts and crafts, dress up games, and more! It's pretty much free play (unless they have an event going on). I brought my 6 year old and 16 month old around 12 on a weekday, and there was only 1 other mom with her 2 kids there. I'm not sure of their policies when there are more kids, but they did take temperatures at the door and have plenty of sanitizer and room to spread out. There are different places to sit for parents who want to get some work done (yes, WiFi ) or you can play with the kiddos as well! No food/drinks are allowed, except water! But they do have snacks and drinks available for purchase, and they even let each kiddo pick out a snack for free at the end! As a mom who worries like any, I felt completely safe letting my kids run free in here! My kids had a blast! We can't wait to bring them back.

A really cute and fun place to bring your kids to! My little ones did not want to leave. And they each got a free snack on the way out! Would definitely come back next time I am in the area

This location is so clean and organized! I loved that there were so many different areas my daughter was attracted to. We attended a birthday party here and really enjoyed it. There is a campsite area and neighboring kayak with a huge map. There is a house with dining table inside. A small grocery store, a car and wooden blocks area! Everything was great :)

Party area with all of the decorations I brought! So easy to set up and such a cute space.

Had my son's birthday here and everything went so smooth and was perfect! We did the DIY option and I brought lots of decorations. They helped me set up everything I brought without even having to ask where anything went. There are even hooks already on the wall, so placing the balloon garland only took a few minutes. My son and all of his friends had such a fun time with all of the play areas. My favorite part was that they clean and pack everything up so you don't have to lift a finger! It was awesome. It's pretty big with lots of space for kids and adults. Would highly recommend this venue to anyone!

Just bare counter tops you have to go collect all the toys and find them in order to even make this an ice cream shop

Would give this place 0 stars if I could . It was a disappointment, nothing like the post they posted on ig advertising. Nothing was in its place the areas they had had were completely empty and you had to go search for things . Not to mention they had one person working the whole time I waited about 15 mins so my kid could paint until I finally ended up grabbing the paint myself because the girl was nowhere to be found . Will not be returning and I wouldn't recommend taking your child here .

They have simple task like make your own airplane and experiment with aerodynamics through wind tunnels and airflow. Hands on gravity, motion and momentum zones, and innovative activities like designing your own game controller! Climbing structures integrated throughout encourage physical play (and yes some energy burn)! Outdoors children manipulate the direction and flow of water in interactive water tables and engineering principles. Beyond exhibits, there are amenities like food court, bookstore, and gift shop. My only critique is in the ticket purchase. If you buy at the kiosk and not counter (24" away) you save $2 BUT then the kiosk charges you $1.62 processing fee so big whoop on the .38 cent savings. The kiosk only makes sense when purchasing multiple tickets but is still something for the business to take a look at. Overall, awesome space! Plan to stay several hours to enjoy all the offerings.

The holiday features were a big plus -- the snow playground was a fun seasonal surprise, and seeing Elsa, Anna, and Olaf with a Frozen sing-along and meet-and-greet made the visit extra special for younger kids. That said, the experience would have been much better with stronger upkeep. Many of the electronic exhibits were not working, unplugged, or appeared damaged, which was disappointing for kids who were eager to interact. The museum was also very crowded, making it hard to spend quality time at some of the most popular exhibits. Overall, it's a solid outing and we still enjoyed ourselves, but improved maintenance and functionality of the interactive exhibits would really elevate the experience.

Members can use their pass at either location. This location is actually ironically located in a fairly simplistic brick building that used to house a prison of all things. Parking is free. Inside there are just a few exhibits including life science, hall of technology, a special salt exhibit, hall of paleontology, space hall, and a few other exhibits that required a special extra fee like a dig pit. The exhibits are somewhat small but almost all have an interactive component which can be great for small kids. Part of our event included a very short tour of the second floor and our guide was extremely knowledgeable and engaging. I work in a very different type of industry so this was really refreshing to see. They do have private meeting rooms that can be reserved which made it easy to have some meeting events in addition to time to wonder the exhibits. Overall, I enjoyed the day and glad that I got the opportunity to "be a kid again." If you're in the area it's definitely worth checking out. If you're far away however, I am not sure that I would make a special drive.

4 stars? Let me tell you why…read more We've been visiting The Woodlands Children's Museum regularly for the past couple of years, and overall it's been a solid experience for younger kids. It's a well-managed space that's clearly designed for structured, imaginative play rather than chaos. If you know what to expect, it can be a great outing. Pros: * The location right off The Woodlands Parkway makes it easy to get to without going far out of the way. * The museum is the perfect size--big enough to keep kids engaged, but not overwhelming for parents or little ones. * They host multiple events throughout the month, which helps keep things interesting beyond a standard visit. * Being able to host birthday parties here is a big plus and very convenient. * Pricing feels fair for what's offered, especially compared to larger, more crowded children's attractions. Cons: * The layout doesn't change very often; in two years, I've only seen one noticeable update, which can make repeat visits feel a bit repetitive. * Parking can be frustrating since the lot is shared with a large gym, especially during peak hours. * The shopping center itself is pretty outdated and could really use a remodel, which affects the overall experience. * This is not the place for very hyper kids who need to run freely--everything is more controlled and calm. * There are no concessions, and outside food or drinks aren't allowed, which can be inconvenient for longer visits. Overall, this museum is a great option for younger children who enjoy hands-on, imaginative play in a calm environment. It's affordable, well-located, and thoughtfully run, but best suited for kids who do well with structure. We'll continue to visit, just not expecting major changes each time.

Life is too short to color inside the lines so why not go wild and explore the universe of color!…read more After visiting the NYC location, this was a must on our trip to Houston. It was a world of fun photo props rooms and cool FYI about the categories of color. You can book tickets online using their website or Instagram to reserve your day and time a lot. FYI, kids of all ages are welcome but no strollers are allowed as there are stairs to climb and go down. They have cute snack pairings like fortune cookies , taffy and ice cream as you explore each art room. I absolutely loved it and we did the entire place in about an hour. You can take even more time If you wish . Bonus: after you register inside , you keep a cool QR card to take all your photos and they email them to you after the experience! You can also use the kiosk to print your photos out for a fee . There are beverages for purchase as well ( beer, wine, water and poppi soda ) It's a must for a solo trip, date or group !

It is one of those places that can easily be a one and done. There is discounted weekday price starting at $19 for kids 3-12. Something tells me the $19 is if you buy it in advance. Meaning, not the day of. I paid $25 for the kids and $29 for myself online. The photo opps are what you make of it. Like for instance I've been to places where you press a button and the confetti drops down. For this, you have to actually throw the confetti up yourself. Good luck trying to figure this out with kids if you're looking for a good photo. They were also a bit underwhelmed with it. They loved the music room, the light bright room, and the balloon room. The goodies. It was cute. I'm trying bit to give the whole experience away if you are interested in going. It is best to pay for the ice cream online as it is a bit cheaper but not by much. Those cones were cute and delicious. I purchased the photo package. It really isn't necessary as you get to download the photos from a QR code you use when snapping the pics. There is a small parking lot near to it. If you wait for the group before you to leave then you can get a spot without an issue.
