Seismique was a fun and immersive experience. It was a far drive for me, but once you're there, it it's worth it at least once. The space is large and designed creatively, with different sections to look at. it's a good spot for IG-worthy photos. I liked that each area felt different. I can imagine kids would love this place too. This was a new take on museums.

'm torn on this one. On one hand, the art is genuinely cool--it's like walking through a neon fever dream, and if you're looking for a new profile pic, you'll find 50 of them here. The "Acid Rain" room and the giant crochet structure were the highlights for me. The problem is the price tag. $35-$40 per person (plus tax and fees) is just outrageous for what ends up being a 45-minute walkthrough. It's definitely a "one and done" kind of place. Go if you have the extra cash and want the photos, but honestly, it feels more like a high-end selfie studio than a museum. Fun for a bit, but my wallet definitely felt the sting afterward.

This is a fun museum to visit if you're looking for a chill indoor activity and love to take photos! It is an immersive art installation museum that have sensory effects via touch, sound, sight, etc. Roaming through the museum reminded me of Meowolf because it mirrors a similar experience of walking through and exploring a unique room. There are over 30 rooms to explore. I spent around an hour walking around. The exhibit is clean and quite spacious.

I would definitely recommend visiting this place during your stay in Houston. Upon arrival you arrive to an arcade type of environment with various entries into the Seismique immersive world. Although I wish the person at the front desk gave me more information I was fortunate to met a staff member named Sharon who explained the concept behind some of the rooms to me. Every room is designed so beautifully and what's so cool about this experience is highly interactive whether is to create music with the objects in the room or create cool shadows/shapes on the walls.

I loved Seismique! I went with my friend to celebrate her kiddos birthday and boy did the kids have a blast in the bean bag and light rooms ....it was like a party in every room! They have soo many different rooms but my favorite was the 3d black and white and the outside spaceships! I can't wait to invite all my girls over for a nice outta this world brunch on a nice warm day. They also have a neon miniature golf which we didnt do because the kiddos were having too much fun playing the arcade games. They have a bar so me and my girl had to partake ...and the drinks were good! You could get them in a bag and walk Seismique and sip. I love love love the photo booth! Not many people noticed the mirror was a photo op but I flagged a few people down and showed them how to use it. The front desk lady and manager were very nice! I will def be back with my friends maybe I can do a Seismique Sip party

First time here, Mini golf is amazing and Tariq was a fantastic host. Appreciate it . The museum was unique and interactive. Fantastic visit.

Cute little interactive art museum. Perfect for a date, with friends, or taking the kiddies. It is a bit pricey for what it offers though. That's why I deducted one star. Nonetheless, it's still enjoyable. Even if you're a content creator you can potentially get some good shots there as well. The set up allowed for a smooth maze type movement. So no need to go back into the main area in order to get into a new part. This allowed for a curiosity of the unknown. I won't lie I felt like some of the "fun" things were more catered to kids. Wish they would've had some adult activities as well. Would I go back? No. Yet I do think it's worth a one time visit.

If you're looking for a fun and interactive museum for all ages, you definitely have to come and visit Seismique. Seismique offers a unique twist on art that is suitable for children and adults, that will have you in there for hours having fun. It is recommended to buy your tickets online in advance, but you can buy tickets at the location. When you walk in, it seems like you are in a black-and-white universe until you walk through their main hallway and it transforms into an intergalactic world. There are multiple rooms that are set with different themes to where you cannot only view but touch the art displays. Also, this is the perfect place for content creating and photo ops. My friends and I had such an amazing time, we cannot wait to come back to Seismique when we visit Houston again.

Seismique : A full on sensory Overload! This is hands down the most creative museum experience I've ever had - Seismique is more than just a museum, it's a wild adventure through a kaleidoscope of colors and sounds that will leave you breathless. After visiting I can safely say Seismique has set a new benchmark for interactive art exhibitions and thats why it's getting a well deserved five star rating from me. If you are looking for old artifacts or some quiet time for reflection then this is definitely not the place to go. Seismique is more like a dynamic, immersive journey that completely turns the rules of a traditional museum visit on their head, replacing that with a healthy dose of sheer unadulterated creativity. What really stands out at Seismique is the incredible way the tech is used to create a truly immersive multi sensory experience. I loved every single exhibit because each one was perfectly crafted with a beautiful blend of light and sound. Walking through Seismique is like stepping into a vibrant , futuristic dreamscape and the installations seamlessly blend from calm, ethereal projections to high energy light corridors that will really get your heart racing . The audio isn't just in the background, it's an integral part of the art - with deep bass riffs accompanying flashing lights and ethereal tones guiding you through these mind-bending illusions. I mean, I walked through rooms that were dedicated to pure visual trickery - and the way the soundscapes amplified the illusions made it feel like my whole sense of space and time was being seriously challenged. The whole thing is just a beautifully overwhelming blend of artistry and engineering that means you never get a dull moment and every corner is filled with something thats got you going "Wow!" For me, Seismique is one of the most creative museums I've ever had the pleasure of visiting. The people behind it haven't just hung some art on the wall, they've built a whole world from the ground up, with interaction and originality at its heart. What really impresses me is the sheer diversity of the installations - we moved through neon-lit jungles, walked through mirrored infinity rooms that seemed to stretch on forever, and even got to experience installations that responded directly to our movements. This is art you don't just look at, it's art you step inside of . The genius of Seismique is in its commitment to innovation. this place is built on a genuine artistic vision that uses cutting edge tech like complex projections, fiber optics & custom-built structures. every single installation felt thoughtfully designed, pushing the boundaries of what static art can do by incorporating motion, light and audience participation. There isn't a single room that's the same as the last - each one offers a completely unique experience that keeps the sense of wonder going right through to the end of your visit.

We came here in a rainy Sunday. This place is really beautiful. It's actually a lot better than we expected. It's definitely worth to visit. The location is also easy to get to. Parking is very friendly compared to other places in down town.

Me stuck in one of the interactive rooms

I have an 8 yo who wanted to go to this place for their birthday. I was skeptical at first, because some of these "experiences" can be really hit or miss and sadly you don't know which it will be until after you spend close to $100 on tickets. Thankfully, this space lives up to the hype and the ticket price. I did pre-purchase tickets but even going on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend this was NOT necessary. I would actually NOT recommend pre-buying tickets (unless it's a special event/day at the space) because if you don't have the more expensive VIP tickets you have to arrive at a specific time. Now, we did arrive 15 min early than our scheduled time (as recommended) and it was NOT crowded so we had no issues BUT I don't know what would happen if you pre-buy tickets and then arrive late (apparently, they can deny you entry so that's why I wouldn't bother pre-buying). Anyways - the space itself was large and the "exhibits" or rooms were really cool. Most had interactive elements and the quality of the rooms was high (NOT Meow Wolf high but definitely better and more interactive than any of the "Instagram" spaces that tend to pop up and have similar ticket price points). The space also has the option to rent roller skates and skate around - we did end up doing this for an additional $15/pp. If you get the VIP tickets, roller skating comes included. Again, it was NOT busy when we went so plenty of room to skate and I think if we wanted to skate, then walk around, then skate again, this would have been fine. Not sure if that would be the case if it was busy but again, all of this is from the POV that it is NOT crowded. Overall, for $45 a person, it was a great time. My 8yo was highly entertained and we stayed for well over 2 hours. If you're looking for a fun indoor activity with kids or even as a friend/date night activity I do recommend checking this out. I don't think it's worth MULTIPLE visits so they will need to figure out how to change out rooms to get repeat customers but for a one and done experience it was a blast.

Very cool under water scene in this room!

This was a VERY COOL place to go! It's been open for years, and I've always wondered what it was, but never looked into it. I'm SO GLAD I finally did!!! This was very much like MeowWolf in New Mexico or Dallas/Grapevine. There were lots of interesting art installations in every room, and some new ideas I didn't even see at MeowWolf! The entrance room was like an old black and white comic strip, from floor to ceiling, and each room was a sight to behold! If you enjoy wonder amazement, and art, I'm sure you'll love Seismique!!!

I went and enjoyed but my legs were sore. Is there any place to sit?

You can sit at the front entrance where you walk in, after ticketing. There are several seating areas and tables by the front cafe! There are seats along the walls in the room with the big climbing jungle and bouncing swinging balls

Can we buy tickets at the place, and get in right away or do we wait?

The times I've been here, they have been pretty empty. The process of getting the tickets is very quick and you get it right there.

    Is senior citizen friendly?

I would think so, if they are into walking a lot & a psychedelic experience.

    Is there onsite parking?

    Yes!!

Are there any good restaurants or bars nearby within walking distance of this museum? Thanks!

    No unfortunately!

Can you buy tickets at the gate or do you HAVE to buy in advance? I'm asking because I'm not sure exactly what time I'll be arriving but know I will go sometime in the evening?

Hi Sierra, We encourage everyone to purchase ahead of time to guarantee your desired date and time…

Is there a military discount available?

Hi James - there are no current discounts for entry.

How long did it take you to go through it all?

Around 1 hour. Could take longer if you go with kids.

Do we have to print out tickets or can I use the email on my phone?

You can use the email on your phone

Can anyone help...am trying to buy 2 adults and 3 kids tickets but it only lets me buy 1 ticket at a time is that how it works or am i missing some other step, my bank card will for sure be flagged if i run it 5 times in a row?

I think it depends how many spots they have available for the time you are trying to buy tickets for. If they only have one spot left, it will only let you buy one ticket.

How long can we stay in there?

As long as you want! At least, during my visit there was no one around hurrying you along or anything :)

    Are kids under 3 free?

Children 2 and younger are free

The building is quite large and parking is a little tricky. I drove through the main parking lot and exited behind the building to find a large paid parking lot that the Puttery will validate for you. The decor is classy and thoughtful and the employee at the register was friendly and informative. My party decided to eat dinner before golfing and the waitress was upbeat and seated us promptly. The food and drinks were quite delicious! The spicy tuna crispy rice had nicely seasoned tuna and paired perfectly with the crispy rice. The rice itself was a tad too sweet for my liking. The brisket jalapeño spring rolls were different and I enjoyed the combination of brisket and the smooth cream cheese. The elote style corn ribs were nicely presented and I've never had corn ribs elote style before. The pizza was pretty good but I wish the toppings were more plentiful. The short rib was tender and flavorful and I liked the pairing with the peppery arugula. The courses were super thoughtfully planned out and I appreciated the different themes in each section. The attention to detail was very obvious and I enjoyed going through the courses. My diagnosis: wonderful destination for indoor putt putt and yummy food.

The waitress recommended the elote corn and short rib pizza so we went with those plus a few other options. Temperature and texture and flavor of all the food items were on point. Now on to mini golf. The place has two sets of 9 hole areas. The holes get progressively harder. You keep score via an iPad at each hole. Overall, the most impressive part was the decor. It's obvious they spent a lot of money on the decor (and the place is just huge) and they've maintained the place quite well so far. Now you're probably thinking "fun place off Washington?
