Staff is incredibly nice and welcoming. They explained the rules and tech really well. The space was clean and big. Lobby area has some comfy seating and water machine for when you wait/recover. My only negative is the price point. It's $50+ a person for 30 minutes. That same day we were doing escape rooms for less than that amount and a guaranteed hour of time. It doesn't seem like they do any kind of specials not even on the weekdays which is unfortunate. Honestly though the experience was great, lots of fun and we look forward to coming back to try either some of the other current games or some of the newer ones coming later this year. We did Outbreak this time, and there was 3 other people in our same time slot. We did great as a team. The place also emails you your scores and rank which is fun to see, along with a little 1 1/2 minute highlight reel of your time in the room (the pic I attached is a screen grab from our short video). (Unfortunately that day the 30 minute video of our session didn't take, we were ready to pay the $10 to re-watch our experience)

Great experience! Lots of fun and games with family and friends. I wish they had larger monitors in the waiting area for spectators to watch first person view or the experience. You can just relay what you see on the computer screen to larger monitors. I was also called out by one of the employees telling me I needed to do a little better to get into the top scoreboard even though it was only my first time playing. Not going to lie, I was proud of myself still 8) Fun for everyone! Highly recommended!

My experience at zero Latency was truly remarkable. I've been here five times now, and each time I bring along friends or family who have always thoroughly enjoyed themselves. I would highly recommend this virtual reality experience to anyone visiting Houston.

Live live live!!!! This was my first VR experience and i can't explain how fun it was. My friend and i went in the middle of the week so it was just the two of us and we had a blast. We tried thr zombie experience and by the time we finished we both were tired and sweating. The staff do a great job explaining the games and the equipment. I will say it is a tad expensive 30 mins for 50$ but honestly i was good and tired after 30 mins. I would definitely recommend as something new to try.

I'm not gonna lie when I first looked at the ticket prices and saw that they were 50 bucks I was like no way was this gonna be worth it but I was totally wrong. so the building is pretty big it's really cool. They do ask for reservations but you can showup and technically reserve while you're there but if it's busy then you wouldn't have a spot. They have multiple games you can play. We played the two zombie games and that's what equaled 30 minutes because they were 15 minutes apiece. when you go into the back they give you instructions on how to hold the gun and you watch a video about your game when you enter an open arena it's nothing but a blank space but it's so cool because once you put on the goggles. You see everything definitely virtual reality and it feels real. I was in the game and went up the elevator, and I'm scared of heights, and I got scared and had to remind myself that I was just in a game. Definitely a great place for date night or just a place to have fun with friends.

Parking- Plentiful (shared with strip) Staff- knowledgeable, goofy, firm but understanding, and funny Facilities- Small waiting room but adequate for 8-10 people. 1 arena (I believe) but multiple rooms setup for viewing pleasure. My Experience: I'm not sure you can have a bad experience here, unless the staff is rude or the computer system crashes. We did experience a couple hiccups when it came to our equipment but nothing to ruin the vibe. I recommend this activity to all. It's very immersive and can get overwhelming to some. I wear glasses and they say you can have them under the VR set, I don't recommend that. They were pressed against my face awkwardly. I'm not saying that's the reason I didn't come in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, or 7th place with my group but if I wore contacts like suggested... I probably would have still placed where I placed. The staff does a great job of preparing you for what you will see and experience. I played with a few non gamers and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves as well. Make sure you listen to the rules, they allow you optimum safety which leads to a greater encounter.

This place was so much fun. The weather was insane and we were running late coming from Baytown. They called to see if we were still coming and waited for us. It was very clean. We played the zombie game and it felt so real. It felt like I would fall off the sides of buildings or that I was walking up a ramp when I knew I was in a flat, square room. The guns were really easy to use. You can free roam and there are no wires or cords! We had sooo much fun. Can't wait to go back.

The Escape Game company has really set the bar high for me! Some other places really have visitors…read morerely on their imagination and can feel kind of cheesy, but here, they do a fantastic job with building the rooms to make things feel more immersive and realistic. Clues are unlimited and given without penalty if needed. Most clues/puzzles are straightforward (can still be challenging but seems like people could eventually figure them out), but there have been one or two where we all agreed they were a stretch... Still fun! For newbies, the Gold Rush room is a fun introduction on the easier side that can easily be done without hints. Escape rooms are great to play and then discuss over a meal after, and they make a great team-bonding experience! If you have some extra time, you can play another game afterwards for a discount on the same day :D The only thing I can find fault with: if you have less than 8 players, then there may be other groups joining you. So if one wants to guarantee a completely private game, they'll have to book out 8 spots. Other places don't have that rule, so if that's not an option, look for the game rooms in the suburbs (namely, in Sugarland!). There's also another location at City Center that has even more rooms! I'm pretty sad that we've pretty much played all the games over the years, so I'm really hoping they swap in some new rooms... fingers crossed! The Escape Game continues to be my favorite escape room, so whether you're a newbie or a pro, do check them out!

Brianna was really helpful and gave us hints at the right moments whenever we got stuck. There were multiple layers to the puzzles, which made it more exciting and less predictable. It truly kept us engaged the entire time. It ended up being such a great escape room experience for me, and even my friends who have done others said this one stood out. When we got to the class, it was completely full and we were paired with another couple. Among the 4 of us, we made potstickers filled with shrimp and pork, as well as bbq pork bao buns. Our instructor was great - I enjoyed his humor and he made the class lively! We were greeted with tea to sip on and the ingredients were prepped in advance with small containers of each sauce, veggies, mushrooms, etc. We took turns chopping, or whisking, or using the stand mixer. I learned some useful knife skills as well! It was fun learning how to fold the wonton wrappers as well as the dough for the bao buns. I appreciated the chance to learn multiple delicious recipes and we had a fun group! I would have appreciated more observation of making the bbq pork as that was pre-prepared, and going through the multiple ingredients we used as they were not labeled. That being said, we received recipe booklets so that we can try them on our own. We had a pause midway through the class during which the Sur La Table staff steamed our potstickers and bao buns and we browsed the store with our day-of discount. When we returned, I enjoyed sharing the delicious dim sum! We were pretty full towards the end but learned that we can't take any of the food out of the store due to any risk on the store which was a bummer. Nevertheless our group chowed down and finished our tasty meal! I enjoyed all the instructors and staff at this location and would certainly be open to coming back, though for a special occasion as their classes are on the pricey end.
