It's a small little building right off the side of the freeway and they have their own parking lot so parking should be a breeze. We walked in on a random weekday shortly after they opened, hoping to get in as we didn't prebook online. There was one group already in the session, so we waited for about 15ish minutes, but there are fun little finger games (tic tac toe, Rubik's cube, and a few others) to make time go by as you wait. The lady was super friendly and helped us with the 20% discount for checking in on Yelp (don't forget to do that!), otherwise it's $33 per person. We opted for Mind Horror as it was rated Medium. I've never done a virtual escape room, so this was new. You sit the entire time, which is a nice chang of pace from other VR I've done. It took us just over 40 minutes, and I would say partially due to figuring out the VR system, otherwise the room was fairly easy for the 2 of us... but to be fair, I love escape rooms and have done a lot in real life. I came across ExitusVR on Yelp and went to their website to book. After scrolling through their library of games, we decided on House of Fear. Pricing is $33 per person for escape room experiences. They have individual game experience too but I'm not sure if there is a different pricing for those or not. Booking was super easy and convenient. They have their own private parking lot and it was easy to find. The staff member helping us out was also very kind and helpful. I really enjoyed the experience. I will say it's kind of hard to fight the urge to actually move around but once you get the hang of it, it's easy to navigate. I will say my boyfriend and I suck at finding and decoding clues so we got plenty of hints from staff. Although we were super close to escaping, we didn't finish the game in the 1 hour timeframe we had. Overall, I definitely am excited to visit again. When I discussed our need to cancel over the phone I was literally laughed at by the employee. Loved this experience! I am an escape room junkie, but had never tried a virtual reality experience before. I was absolutely blown away by how real everything looked with in the game! The staff were friendly and accommodating, though we did have some technological glitches during our game that took a little while to resolve. The puzzles with in the game itself we're pretty easy to solve... The biggest challenge honestly was figuring out how to move around in this new virtual world.
