I've been a few times now and enjoy having unlimited play for various games. As of March 2026, the entrance fee is $12 for unlimited play. Plenty of parking. If you want to avoid the crowd and waiting for games, go on a weekday. There's a row of pinball machines, various arcade machines, japanese arcades, skee ball and a ton of other various games! I like the variety and have played different new games everytime I've went. I even saw them with some claw machines that looks to be installed in the future! There are times where machines were not working, but there's plenty of others to play. They sell ciders and now has a food menu (pizza, hot dogs, "arcade food" options). Recommend if you like arcade style games and pinball machines - oh, and they do have racing games as well! Check them out!

Cidercade in Houston is a seriously fun spot. I've been a couple of times and the experience has only gotten better since it first opened. It's a great family destination during the day and an amazing date night spot at night. The best part? You pay for your drinks, but all the games are free. You'll find a wide variety of nostalgic classics like Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, and Pac-Man, along with various pinball machines and even Dance Dance Revolution. They serve a variety of ciders and you can sample them to find your favorite. The staff is happy to let you try different ones. My personal favorite is CrackBerry, which you can even buy in to-go six-packs. This is a huge plus since it's often a seasonal flavor at most grocery stores. Cidercade also offers simple food options like pizza. I've even gone by myself and had a great time people-watching and enjoying the lively atmosphere. Just keep in mind that it becomes 21+ after 9 pm.

    Bowling arcade game! Who knew?

I'd heard about Cidercade from a friend, and once I saw it online, I knew I wanted to check it out. What a fun time! Rows of vintage games. I'm talking Galaga, Donkey Kong, Dig Dug, Ms. Pac-Man, Mario Cart and over twenty pinball machines l. It was like stepping back in time. It does get a bit crowded on Saturday mornings because of birthday parties, but that didn't take away from the fun. Most of the kids are busy with the newer games, so there's still plenty of space for the classics. Don't forget to check out basketball and skee ball and some really cool game floors that I didn't get a chance to try out. The energy is great and it's such an easy, nostalgic way to spend a few hours together. Food offerings are a little limited, but that's easily fixed -- don't miss having breakfast (or lunch) right across the street at The Flying Biscuit Café, which is fantastic. This was a great date for me and my husband -- it totally brought back memories of playing arcade games at the skating rink back in the day. Total fun, and we'll definitely be back!

The food is a bit pricey, ordered the quesadillas. The service here is nice and the are upbeat and friendly. The ambiance is cool at early morning but a lot of individual entertainment as the day progresses. So my advice get here as soon as the doors open.

I have been to this location several times, but I feel like it has gradually gone down hill and it's starting to lose its hype The concept was initially free games for a $10 cover charge. Now it is $12 for unlimited games, and the games are far fewer and far worse quality I used to go on weekends and it would be jam packed but still fun. I recently went on a week day and it was empty, but also less fun We ordered a few pizzas, but the pizzas that came out looked nothing like what was advertised. It was pathetic. The pieces were burnt and unevenly sliced. The bar in the center is nice, but as advertised it's pretty much all cider I still had fun playing a lot of my old favorites, and trying some new ones. There are classics like street fighter, dig dug, pac man, guitar hero, DDR, and new ones like Killer Queen. If you like ski ball or carnival game type hoops - they got it. If you're a pin ball wizard... there's an entire wall for that. Buck hunter, metal slug (multiple versions), pac man, etc etc etc Some tips: Order food elsewhere and bring it in. If you love arcade this is still a pretty good deal. Definitely consider going on a week night, but be careful to avoid rush hour and astros/dynamo games. The "floor is lava" section is newer and a lot of fun. Try as many ciders as you want before making a decision. Also, most ciders cost the same, so, consider getting a higher abv%... More bang for your buck, but please drink responsibly Cheers!!

Love this place. It's a perfect date spot. You just pay for entrance fee and you can play unlimited arcade games. It's very nostalgic. They have seating around to hang out and eat, drink, and mingle. They also have a bar right where you walk in. They have plenty of parking. The service was also attentive.

Better late than never. We finally checked out Cidercade with our daughter for one of those dog days of Summer activity ideas, and had an awesome visit. They have just about any and every retro arcade game, plus plenty of new ones, that you could think of under one roof. You pay an entry fee, then you're free to run around to any machine and get started on some unlimited gaming. (No quarters necessary) On top of all the games, they offer a wide range of ciders and a handful of beer options, all in-house options, so don't expect a Miller Lite, or anything else you usually grab at bars. Beyond the grown up drinks, there is food court at one end of the building serving pizzas, and other greasy bites, along with the usual soda fountain offerings. Children are allowed until a certain hour each day, then it turns into 18+ evening play, so make sure to check the hours of operation before loading up the kids. If it's too hot outside to do much else, Cidercade offers a fun and different option, with plenty of AC, that will keep the whole family busy for hours.

Cidercade is always great for when you just want to hang out and play games . The price allows you to play everything you can buy drinks and food inside as well . Right now it's nicely decorated vs on the normal days . Service for what the offer it's great and the ambiance is friendly . Not my first time here I usually go during the week always better than a packed Saturday .

$12 for unlimited games! How could you not be interested? Thankfully they have free parking too. There were a bunch on pinball machines, arcade games, three skeeball games, two air hockey tables and some other random games. Some of the more popular games -- like Mario cart & air hockey, are hard to grab since they're mostly occupied. Even so, I was able to try most of them. There were a few games that didn't work, but they have a QR code on there to scan and report. Didn't try it so not sure how quickly they actually service them. I went on a Wednesday night and was surprised at how busy they were, but after 9 pm they don't allow children under 18 so it died down a bit. Lots of fun to be had!

Fun for all ages! Being the mom of children that are 4 years apart can be challenging when seeking activities that are fun for both age ranges. We found a gem! There are so many options for games. Whether you're looking for an interactive game or wanting to satisfy the want to play the games from childhood, this place offers it all. I was surprised how easy it was to order food. There are QR codes in the tables. You'll receive a text message when your order is ready. The food was very good. I was delighted to see the specialty ovens that the pizzas are baked in. Overall we had a wonderful time! This is a a great option for a summer outing.

Talking about a bite of nostalgia. I visited for the first time and can confidently say I'll be returning. I firmly believe in maintaining a light-hearted approach to life and I try to find joy in every experience. Revisiting elements from our youth--whether they be video games, arcade classics, or other pastimes--serves as a valuable reminder of simpler times. The pricing structure is competitive, and the variety of arcade games is exceptional. Additionally, the beverage selection met my expectations, and the overall atmosphere contributed to an enjoyable experience.

It's a huge place with an extensive collection of arcade games! They have everything you can think of to play. From Mortal Kombat, to Donkey Kong, to PAC-Man, to Marvel etc etc etc. They even have an area to play arcade bowl, basketball and skee-ball. It was a pretty fun place. Service was alright. They have a bar with only beer you can choose from. A flight of random beers we got and they all tasted okay. There was a pizza food truck outside and we were able to eat it inside with a couple lounge chairs hanging around. It was a delicious food truck. Not sure if they have other food trucks outside at different times but that was the only one there when we went. We had a really good time. Will be back when the opportunity arises!

We had a lot of fun here on a Saturday night - it was packed, but we were still able to find parking (after circling the lot a bit) and play the games we wanted (with a small wait). I cannot believe the price of admission is only $12 and then you get free play throughout. The cider drinks are also fairly priced at about $7 each; they have a ton of unique flavors which is rare to find in one spot. We didn't opt for food, but they have a legit pizza oven setup in the back. Parking - large private lot and street

    How about parking?

They have plenty of free parking in their lot.

    Do everyone need a ticket?

Yes , unless under the age of 5

Are there enough tables? I can't tell from the online pics. I don't want to show up with our food, and not be able to find a place to sit. I don't want to reserve ahead bc we are not sure when we are going.

Yes plenty of seating all around.

Can we take a birthday cake or cupcakes?

Yes! They don't serve food of any kind but they do allow outside food

I see that some ciders that are made with "pineapple, orange, coconut and rum flavors," for example. Do these still taste like cider, or is it more of a fruity cocktail I'd get at a place with a full bar?

It depends on what you order. Some taste like traditional cider flavors, some taste like mimosas, some taste like tropical cocktails. The staff is happy to give you a taste of any of them before you order, so you don't have to roll the dice.

Do they accept payments in cash?

Cidercade is card-only and does not accept cash.

Is 18 and up or 21 and up after hours?

    It's 21 and up after 8pm.

Do they sell water or let you bring in water?

They give you a little plastic cup and you can use the water tab with the fountain drinks. I don't know if they let you bring in water. I am sure you can just put some in your purse. I saw outside food being brought in for kids parties.

Do they have private karaoke rooms?

    No karaoke at all

    When is karaoke?

    Tomorrow

Are any of the drinks made without gluten?

    The ciders are gluten free

Is it a dog friendly bar?

I haven't seen any dogs there and honestly, given it's arguably more of an arcade with a small bar attached than a bar with a few arcade machines, it's not dog friendly.

    Do they have pool tables?

    There are no pool tables.

Do y'all have marvel cvs capcom2?

We're constantly rotating the games and activities we have available. To find out if we have something specific at any given point, your best bet is to give us a call at (346) 241-7524.

Do you have to pay to get in or can you just walk in? Like if my Bsf doesn't want to play and just watch can I pay for my pass?

Yes he would have to pay but it's only $10.

I'm 27 and lost my I.D a while back and still in the process of getting a new one. Is this going to be a problem after 8 p.m? Trying to have a date night

They ID'd everyone for the 21+ Valentine's Day event. I'm "standing on phone books to play Pac-Man" old and I was checked for ID just like everyone else in line. I wouldn't be worried about getting kicked out at 8 pm; I'd be worried about getting in… Read more

    Are there pool tables?

No, there are ping pong tables and an air hockey table though.

Do they have DDR or PUMP IT UP machines?

    They have DDR.

    Is my dog welcome?

I have never seen anyone with a dog. It's pretty Loud in there. So I wouldn't recommend a dog just because of the noise level!

Do they have a shuffleboard table?

No from the last time I went, which was a month ago.

The ambiance was great for the holiday they had themed drinks and specials going on, which added a fun touch and made it feel festive without being chaotic. Definitely a solid spot if you're looking for somewhere social but still comfortable. The drinks were good, and overall the vibe was on point. It felt like a place you could hang out for a while, whether you're there to celebrate something or just have a few drinks with friends. One thing to note is they don't serve food, I did hear they rotate food trucks at times, but none were there when we went which was a bit of a downside, but they did allow us to bring in outside food, which honestly made up for it and gave us more options. Parking wasn't too bad when we went, and since it wasn't super packed, everything felt smooth and easy. Overall, great vibes, good drinks, and a fun place. Definitely a spot I'd come back to for a casual hangout or social night out.
