Driving 610!

What a fun experience. We celebrated a birthday and the staff, JP, JT and Xavier made the experience even better. They made sure we had the FULL experience and were extremely helpful with direction on how to handle the whole driving experience! We all had fun! Can't wait to go back.

Nice environment and people. Races are well organized. Food and drink are reasonably priced. I would come again.

As a Wisconsinite, I had to put the cheese curds to the best. For non-Wisconsin curds, they were solid. The ranch was amazing too. I also tried the three cheese cavatappi pasta bake. It was so cheesy and gooey. I'd highly recommend it if you're looking for non-traditional bar food. My friend had the chicken tenders and said they were good. We came to watch the Utah Mammoth @ Nashville Predators game. While the staff tried their best to get it onto the TV for us, it unfortunately didn't work. However, the staff were so accommodating with letting us stick around to watch it on our ESPN app.

Apparently this wasn't the first time. The server we had was amazing but the manager... not so much... I was the second victim of this. They have plenty of TVs to watch sports if you want to come check out the games. Bring your friends, enjoy yourself.. just be careful with the food. Spicy Margarita: 7/10... the spice was right but did not taste like it had any alcohol in it. Tom's Famous Prime Rib Sandwich: 0/10.. they left the paper on the cheese in the sandwich.....again...do not get it unless you want to gamble Korean BBQ Wings: 5/10.. the wings were cool but wasn't cooked well enough for me.

Beer buckets stacked like décor, a long wide bar stretching across the room, TVs everywhere like a Buffalo Wild Wings went to grad school. They've got couch seating for date-night coziness, a little private room that looks rentable, and then -- plot twist -- a whole co-ed indoor soccer arena. Yes, inside. Real people playing real soccer while you sip your drink. Games everywhere too: pinball, basketball, Jenga on the tables... a whole adult playground. And the food? That super-sized pretzel came out cut in four, served with Creole mustard and queso. It was a little overcooked... but still good enough for us to keep eating like we didn't notice. Ambiance: A1. Would I bring a date here? Absolutely. Especially the one who can hold conversation and hold a drink.

The team helped us plan and advised on every detail, from setup to timing, and the prices were incredibly reasonable for the value. The food options were wonderful (and absolutely delicious!), and they even provided a separate area for our team to store belongings and gather between activities. It still felt connected to the main space thanks to the open layout and windows, which was perfect. The venue itself is huge and full of energy--tons of fun arcade games, cornhole, a soccer field, and plenty of room for everyone to spread out and enjoy. The staff was by far the best part--so friendly and accommodating, and they made some fantastic drinks (including mocktails that looked great and let me stay sharp during a work event!). If I lived nearby, this would absolutely be my regular hangout spot. Highly recommend for both corporate events and casual get-togethers! Thanks, Megan, Gus, & Team!

The first time that I went there, I went by myself and had a seat at the bar. The bartender was attentive and greeted me when I say down. I ordered some beers and a hot dog with chili. Both the beers and hot dog were great after the three hour bus ride I just took. The third time that I went there, I went with my friend and we had a seat at the bar. This was our last night in Houston and we decided to have a few drinks before our trip ended. I got a beer in their special St. Patrick's Day glass. The bartender was again attentive and it was a good night. Looking back, I guess both my first and last stops in Houston were here. The second time that I came here was also with my friend and we sat at a table to order food. The waitress was great and kept checking on us. I ordered the fish and chips. The fish was crispy and tasty. This is the only part that I had an issue with from the restaurant. At some point during my second visit, a woman came into the restaurant with her pants covered in poop. She left and then came back another time and walked among the tables. The bartender eventually escorted her out. Here is why I am still giving this place 4 stars after this. The service and food was still good even and I had two uneventful visits. This visit, I just happened to sit at a table closest to the door. If you want to make sure you don't have an experience like this, you can sit at the bar, or upstairs or further away from the front door. I recommend this place for a great selection of beer, great staff and great food.

You're able to bring in your own food as well, but we came here for Tuesday Steak night from Modestos Grill. $30 for a ribeye + choice of potato or salad. The salad was actually quite a large portion and potato was baked nicely and came with all the fix'ns. Steak was seasoned really well and cooked to my preference of medium. Quality of the steak isn't the best, but not bad. Drinks at Kirby Ice House was pretty pricy. Lots of outdoor seating and large screens. Pet friendly! So bring your dogs/furbabies! Upon visiting here, it's about the same size as Memorial IMO but still has the same touch and vibes that makes the Memorial location pretty dope. Obviously you're here for drinks, sports, or a combination of the two. There's plenty of parking here and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. They also live up to the whole "longest bar in Texas" where there is a 100+ foot bar area that stretches. There's plenty of tvs inside and outside so you can find any type of sports you're looking for as you guzzle down your beverages. Speaking of beverages, there's roughly 30+ beers on tap and just about every kind of spirit you can think of. Self-serve water coolers are available when you need to hydrate yourself if you've had one too many drinks. There's also a food truck here for eats with rotations (check the website for the schedule). It's pet friendly as well and they have drink specials every day. Bartenders are pretty attentive; I've never had issues getting a drink here, even when it's gotten slammed for NFL sunday or college football. Glad this is in my neck of the woods for sports watching and drinking.

We asked for 3 cocktails (Pisco sours) and not only were they the worst Piscos we ever had, the guy conveniently misheard $60 on a $45 bill (we handed $60 cash and said out loud "make it $50" we all heard it) and he tried to keep a $15 tip, when we asked for change back , he THREW a crumbled $10 dollar bill at us calling it a "sh**ty" tip - HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL NEVER THROW MONEY AT YOUR CUSTOMERS! Note to management: Tell your bartenders to maybe ask for the ingredients or try offering an alternate drink if you can't make a particular cocktail instead of serving terrible drinks - i.e. Just be honest.

My husband and I decided to try it out on the way back home. Main St is filled with a surplus of bars and clubs ranging from Off the records to Deans. This place offers a sophisticated bar adjacent to a lawyers office. First impression walking in is a large bar area with a patio overlooking Main st. The front view of the patio only shows the train, the right and left side offer people watching. It is the only place on that strip with a balcony. The service was very lackluster. I was there on a Friday night. The two male bartenders stood directly in my face several times, not one offering a "will be with you shortly" or anything accommodating. After getting tired of waiting so long I told my husband to come in to see how long he's have to wait. As soon as he sat down beside me, a female bartender sauntered over. I would've appreciated quicker service or at least acknowledgment. My husband also noticed how rude she was questioning if the drink he ordered for me was for him or I. ( why doesn't that matter?) All in all of a first experience it lacked hospitality.

The name is simply "Houston" spelled backwards. The decor is quirky, eclectic and goes hard on the taxidermy. There are all kinds of animals from land-based to sea creations in all kinds of positions, along with very unique art and ambiance to explore. The multi-room layout makes the place a fun spot to explore and check out the different levels. The darkly lit ambiance makes it a bit hard for photographs, but it is no less a dizzying and fascinating space. My favorite part of the entire place is on third floor, where there is a sound dome that doubles as a visualizer, a communal space, and a trippy acoustics wonderland where music can be played via bluetooth and tourists and locals would enjoy it. The sound system is excellent and a perfect place to chill out. There's more than just sensory overload, the drinks also deserve a bit of mention. The jalapeño palomas and hibiscus mules are fun, despite feeling a tinge overpriced. Bartenders are nice people, and service as a whole is a thumbs up. The parking situation will be challenging, since this is Downtown proper. Street parking is available just down the block, and if one can avoid the crowded weekends, the weeknights are an ideal time to visit. It's hard not to be impressed with the distinctiveness of the place, which is truly one of the city's great local favorites.
