The dress code is all over the place. From basketball shorts to semi formal attire. So kind of like anything goes. Lots of the servers can be seen using the backdrop of the bar for their social media. Servers videoing servers and photos. When other places are closing, Heights Social keeps the party going! Stopped in after drinks and dinner around 11PM. Parking is a bit of a mix between valet and street parking. Seemed secure enough as security was outside watching the cars. Once inside you are drawn in with the lights, music and party. For a Wednesday, it was buzzing, nice mix of crowd and music was hype. The bartenders were friendly and attentive, unlike other places that you order a drink and bartender disappears or doesn't check on you until it's time to leave. Dress code was also a mix between dressy and clean cut. Kept it simple with drinks & just had my go to beer, Pacifico. Had a good time didn't realize how late it was until the main lights came on. We used this location for our Houston Millennials Professional Networking event: After Dark with the Arts last year. How beautiful. The atmosphere. The decor. Stunning. Even though there were hundreds of people, it still wasn't overcrowded at all. The views were stunning and our beloved Houston Robot Show was able to fit in and walk around, perform, and socialize with ease. We had numerous artists and their ginormous displays enter with ease, a flame thrower on the patio. A 360 photo booth both inside AND outside, multiple group performances, food vendors set up shop outside... Like we had the whole Gambit there and still had plenty of room. Now, you do have to pay for parking which is always annoying in Houston, but at least it's valet and the cars come out quickly. I know we're hosting another event here soon it's too good to pass up. Went here last night and as they were closing I realized I left my car keys in one of the women's restroom stalls so I went to the restroom and the guy working was blocking the stalls so I explained I left my keys and what stall I was in and he was so extremely rude and unhelpful, he said nobody found any keys and I asked if they could check again or if I could go in really quick to check and he had the nastiest attitude and said no then proceeded to call me entitled because I was trying to find my keys. When I asked another worker if they could help me, the sassy rude man saw me and told the other guy not to help me. After asking about FIVE employees, one finally went and found my keys in the restroom exactly where I said they were. So rude and nasty for no reason, will absolutely not be returning. Head bouncer had an unprofessional demeanor. Didn't let one of our party in because she had a slevless shirt on however there were people let in that was pretty much naked. What type of business practice is that. I mentioned that you let her in a few hours before with no issues (politely) He than mentioned that we should have stayed and never should have left. Came here for white linen night and it was a hot,musty, mess. First off there was no order with the line. We waited 20 mins just to barely move but people were skipping the line so we did the same since we knew they were primarily letting women in. We got in about close to closing I order my friend & I two house tequila shots. The girl who had brown hair that night at the main bar ( she also had like two ponytails or space buns) then just ask for my card and charges me & then gives me a receipt . I told my friend it's so weird she didn't show us the screen to tip. Well lo and behold I find the receipt in my purse and she tipped her own self almost 7 bucks !!! I was going to tip fyi but now if I ever decide to go back I'll definitely be checking my receipt. Also if you notice on the signature part there's just a line because she also signed my receipt for me. Watch out for homegirl with dark brown hair almost black , w tan skin she'll tip her own self LOL!!! A friend and I visited after she saw their promotion of their Cinco de Mayo tequila flight special. We stopped by to enjoy that. For $50, we received 4 1oz pours of different top shelf tequilas. It was a great way to try some new, quality tequilas. The tequila was also paired with an accompaniment, as well as a palette cleanser for our noses. The bartenders were great. The restaurant opened this week and from the outside in; its aesthetically pleasing. Great for photos during brunch or watching sports on the big screens. Its open seating; walk in and seat yourself. They have a DJ booth and tons of people working. However the service wasn't that great and neither was the food. They didn't have a physical brunch menu and the waitress wasn't sure what was available for brunch. We found out there were only 3 brunch items and the champagne carts we're not being offered. Only by the cup or bottle. The 3 items were avocado, toast, breakfast, pizza, and beignets. We ended up ordering off the regular menu wings, brussels sprouts, and truffle fries. The wings were mediocre. The brussels sprouts were soggy and soft and really salty. Fries were OK. We ordered drinks but didn't get them til after our food had arrived. She said she forgot. I was given dirty water glasses twice. When our server finally appeared and I asked for more water we were given a dirty water carafe. Fried pickles took 30 min to come out. Our entrees came out before the appetizer we eventually ordered. We were rarely checked on and had to wave down our server and bussers. There's potential here and I know they just opened. This bar was so cute and fun! I really liked their choice of light colors! They focused mainly on blue and red with some yellow in between with the light shows! I also loved the mega huge tv screens. I also loved the sections and section performance each time they brought out bottle service. Sections start at $5k but well worth it since I didn't end up paying and was invited by a friend. The sections are super comfy, plenty of space to seat up to 12 guests! This place allegedly has food, but when we arrived, non was available so maybe they only focus on being a bar at night. The bartenders were so nice and thorough. Although the section had plenty of bottles, they don't have much as far as being able to create cute cocktails so I ended up going to the bar which was a serious vibe! While it was a great time we had in the section the time walking around the club to dance or go from our section to a friends was a pain in the butt with security running through/over people everywhere. I've been for some special events in the past where they shut the bar down so the vibe, the look and usually the bar tenders are great. I went with the pineapple upside-town martini, and I loved it! It was bright, refreshing, but not overly sweet. Their dirty martini is also good. She asked if something was wrong and I tell her the bottom of my pizza was burnt and showed her the black bottom of my pizza. She takes the pizza away and I'm thinking my server would show up but she never did. Me and my friend finished our drinks and we're still waiting for our checks. I pop my head up to see where our waitress was and she's at another section talking to colleagues. She comes up and asks if I want another pizza and after waiting so long, way past 20 minutes at this point, drinks finished and all, no I don't want another pizza. I give her my card to pay, and come to find out she doesn't split the checks. This place has been open for only two months. It's beautiful inside and I bet it's an amazing place to party at on a Friday/Saturday night however the attentiveness of your servers lacked big time. She was nice don't get me wrong, but not paying attention to your table isn't good service. Because of my burnt pizza on the bottom and the lack of service I can't say I suggest coming here to dine.
