Why 5 stars? Because there are fewer things in life that my son has loved more. --- --- --- I had known about Immersive Gamebox for a while, but never really put a lot of thought into going. But with mom out of town for the weekend, I was looking for stuff to do with my son, and it actually seemed like a pretty solid option. He's 6 years old and plays (kid-friendly) Squid Games worlds on Roblox. It's one of his favorite things to do, actually. So when I saw that they had a Squid Games thing here, I was pretty intrigued. It was noted to be 12+ though, so I opted to not book in advance and just ask the people working here when I arrived, if it would be appropriate for him. They all universally said that it would probably be too challenging for a 6 year old. So we booked Paw Patrol instead. Walking in on a Saturday meant that we had an hour wait, which was no problem because we had plenty to do at the mall in the meantime. He absolutely loved it. He hasn't stopped talking about it in the 24 hours since we finished. It was definitely easy enough for him to figure out how to play, other than the 2nd to last game where you were supposed to herd ducks and fish into their body of water. Even I struggled with that game. But the rest of it was very manageable. It's not the cheapest way to spend an afternoon, but we will definitely be back to do this again in the future. read more

Interesting concept. Not VR but more like augmented reality. Staff is super friendly. You can watch folks playing before deciding as play rooms are visible for spectating. After watching and reviewing the options, we ultimately decided not to partake. But I think one could have a good time here just not our cup of tea. read more

This was a nice Family outing. It's an interactive game room. There are different games, we wanted to play squid games but because we had the kids with us, they wouldn't allow it. We ended up choosing ghostbusters. We had different levels and challenges to do. We enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend wearing comfortable clothes. It does get a little toasty in the room. They have drinks (alcoholic and non). You can just order and close out your tab at the end. I would recommend this place 10/10. read more

It's located right at woodlands mall so there are lots of things around to view as well. I booked online, however. You can also walk in. There is a large variety of games to choose between. Brand New Gaming Experience located next to Banana Republic. Just open Dec 17, 2021 GM Devon is amazing, he was extremely knowledgeable about the selections of games. I like that he asked about my sons and I interest of games to make sure our experience was enjoyable. Electric games has a scheduled half time [after the first two games or (30 mins),] to make refreshments purchases, that'll be delivered right to you private game suite. They have a tray installed in each suite to hold drinks and small personal items. And complementary lockers for personal storage during your gaming experience. We played a total of 4 games each game last 15 minutes and kept score as well as a visual of you game time remaining. We are very competitive, so the only flaw was that we weren't on the game that kept our score separate. Instead we played and earned points as a team. They do have 15 minutes games that score players individually. Which would've been our selection. We definitely know what to request on our next visit. read more

I want to take my granddaughter but, 1. Inadequate website 2. Inadequate FAQ's 3. No phone customer service I tried to book a ticket for her. Then it says must buy two tickets. Find, I'll buy her two time slots. Except there doesn't appear to be a way to do that online. When you go back to buy a second ticket, it erases the first. I checked FAQ's, nothing there. No phone number on website, but Yelp had a phone number. I called, just a recording, apparently they don't want to be bothered with potential customers. So I guess you must have two people, so she can't play. Fortunately, there are other places to go to. read more

What a blast!! Bought this as a Father's Day gift for my husband and we had such a great time as a family. We chose the Alien Invasion game, which is an hour long and is broken up into 4 mini games. This interactive, heart pumping game is perfect for all ages! I booked a one hour session and the check in process was simple and fast. The game room is big enough for 3 people to move comfortably, but their maximum capacity is 6. It also has a little rack in the back to place bags and jackets. Lockers are provided outside the room for large items that need to be stored. I played the Alien Aptitude Test and before the game started and at the 30 minute mark, the screen prompted us to order non alcoholic beverages. My only recommendation is that they lower the game volume or allow guests to do so from the settings menu. It is a very clean place with the sweetest employees. read more

So. Much. Fun! Finding the exact spot for this location was an adventure in itself. Park near Barnes & Nobles and head towards the center court (thank me later). The staff working the front desk were very friendly and explained the process & made checking in a breeze. The group was assigned a room and were quickly introduced to the on-screen robot. We chose the Alien Aptitude Test: London '84 and I highly recommend it if you want to listen to a badass playlist. There were 4 mini games played in this session and all were tons of fun. Ran across an ad on Facebook for this, and was looking forward to something the family could do together. Decided to give it a whirl for NYE and wasn't disappointed. I'd decided that we'd dive in headfirst for a 60-minute session, where "Rescue the Royals" was pre-selected. It comes in 4 segments, and the first is the most physical, the second and third test your mind, and the fourth requires lots of teamwork and patience (had to apologize to my boy for growling in the final section). No doubt we'd score better the second time through, but the uniqueness of the experience was enough this time. The setup is surprisingly simple. After a short sign-in and release (much like what you'd see at a trampoline place but blessedly shorter), you'll be taken to your assigned room. You put on a colored visor with basically a small antenna on top which judges your direction and position in the room. the Front and Side walls are painted white with projections on each that respond to your touch when needed, though you may have to hold your hand in place longer than a short tap. In some cases, all of you may participate at once, and other times solo or in pairs. Nothing was out of reach from my 10 year-old average height son. In all, we finished hot, sweaty, and thrilled to have completed as many tasks as we did. You get to take a short 5-second soundless video at the end which is promptly mailed to the emails you signed up with. Will definitely do again. Was told that they may be ready for birthday parties by March which was great news for my kiddos. read more

Went opening weekend. My teenage boys and their friends liked it. We weren't sure what to expect. They did the Psychedelic Mansion all said they would go again. The pictures online make the screens look faded. But in person it's very vibrant. They are in the outside shops in between the mall and Shake Shack, just down from Barnes & Noble. It was difficult to find without knowing where they're located. Employees were very friendly. They don't have a lot of seating in the lobby, just a small bench. They do have free lockers while you play. I think this is a great alternative for an escape room for teens. read more

They let us try the demo--a whimsical game similar to Pac-Man--and it was such a blast! My boyfriend and I enjoyed competing against each other while donned in our antenna visors (which allowed the game to use our movements in game function).
