My daughter had a great time today. Definitely what we needed and a change up from the beach!

Too bad. Too bad. This middle-aged man who makes people feel bad should not be at the front desk. He doesn't even have the most basic courtesy. It makes people feel unhappy.

I came with my family and there just happened to be random sounds of thunder. It is completely understandable that we had to wait 30 minutes after the last sound of thunder to enter the facilities. However, the way the teenage lifeguards spoke to us was so utterly disrespectful, but whatever...that was no problem at first. We hung out by the lake for about an hour and a half playing and listening to music. Meanwhile all the lifeguards were screaming, laughing, listening to music and lounging by the pool sunbathing because it was clear and sunny by now. We timed it and waited 30 minutes after the last thunder sound to go ask if we could go in. They told us the last sound was one minute ago. Uh what? Okay... As we were leaving, I decided to check if they had a number I could have to call and ask if the pool is open. I was banging on the gate yelling HELLO! HELLO! Even though they were right by the gate, they couldn't hear me over their laughing. After awhile, they looked back over their shoulder and utter "Yeah?" I asked 'Could I speak to someone face to face please?' And they didn't even move and said "what?" I was appalled and so disgusting by their attitude. I see this behavior in my high school classes, but if these are lifeguards representing the community we pay to be apart of, I never want to go back again. My 6-year-old son even looked at me and said 'They are not very nice, right?' Pahh!!

I was searching for a location for my birthday celebration at the turn of new year. Instead, I found a Sunday brunch location. I think I'll bring my friends over to enjoy the show one Sunday morning. If it was summer, I'd come next day to take a soak in the pristine pool. Unfortunately, it was freaking cold in Houston in January. I stayed at the bar instead. I can't wait to come back in the summer.

Not very places that will let you go down however you want. SO MUCH FUN!! We liked it just as much as the boys did. Worth $20/day for the kids to go. We had a cooler in our truck in the parking lot and went back for drinks. Food Truck on site and that was really good too!!! My boys loved the corny dogs and we liked our burger. Got snow cones on our way out. This was our boys (12, 10, 10) highlight of our 2 wk Galveston vacation. They loved it so much that we made the trek on the ferry a few times.

Every year since then the boys say that's the one place they really want to go. Management and staff are wonderful, friendly, helpful people. It's a win-win because the kids get to spend all day going down the waterslide and grandma gets to sit in the shade and read a book! LOL
