What a great time! We did the Detention room. Even though it was a single room experience, it was engaging and fun the whole time. There were clues/puzzles everywhere and you could solve them in parallel. That enabled everyone to actively participate. And best of all....we escaped!! Poor customer service. Escape room is not engaging or fun. The theme does not even make sense or pair with the puzzles or activities. Puzzles do not work unless the operator remains downstairs monitoring it. Not welcoming, dated and overall terrible experience. Do not recommend. read more

Escape rooms are always a good time. We did the time travel room. It's a room made for many people. There is 3 rooms in 1. I will not talk to much about the room in order to not give anything away. Emily was so kind. She really knew her stuff. She was very helpful. The location of the escape room had lots of parking available. The location was very clean, even the bathroom. I was pleasantly surprised by this place. My husband and I have done a ton of escape rooms, but walking into this place I have to admit my expectations were low. The room that we played had a wide variety of types of puzzles, and I liked how "replayable" the room is. We'll definitely be back to try it again. My only criticism was a key was useable for multiple things--this is definitely not a norm. I am used to keys or codes only being used once. That delayed us a lot because we assumed we were done with a key, when it in fact opened something else for us. read more

We did the get ready for summer escape room and it was supposed to be kid friendly. We did not think so. We've taken our kids (10, 8) to several escape rooms and were able to complete them but this one was different. The clues were random and often didn't mean anything. The room was very tiny, the 4 of us barely fit. Because of covid they asked you to sit in your car until they called you. They never called, we had to go and bang on the door. My family of four had so much fun! We got off to a slow start doing the Last Day of School escape at the intermediate level. After a few hints to get us on the right track, we started to get the hang of it. We found out how well we work together. Truly a memorable experience. My family and I were just there when we got there the door was open but the worker came in a couple minutes later. They told us a few minutes later that the air conditioner was not on when they got there but it would cool down fast. When we got in there we complained that it was hot but the lady that was our "game master" just continued on with the game. After 5 minutes we noticed the ac was on the warm setting so we moved it to the coolest. We waited 20 minutes, still not any cooler. Two of my family members had to sit the whole time because it was so hot. We were all dripping in sweat and we couldn't even think. The game was fun but the fact that we couldn't enjoy it because when we left we looked like we just went for a swim was absolutely ridiculous. All the worker said was sorry a few times and that's it. We went out into the parking lot (the temperature was 96 out so inside the trailer was most likely over 100) and discussed it, we requested at least half a refund because it was dangerous in a lot of ways.( yes we were complaining the whole time that we were dripping in sweat and it was way too hot and the workers could see us) I also asked for at least free waters for everyone, they had to call their manager to see if anything was okay. They said that a worker was messing with ac so that's why it was really working and said we could only take waters. Really? We spend $175 to spend an hour soaked in sweat and only get 7 bottles of water read more

This place was pretty awesome. Our son Sean leaves to join the Navy in two weeks and we went here as part of our last day out together. We did the time travel room. Sean has done several escape rooms before but this was the first time for my wife and I. It was very difficult for our small group of 3 but VERY fun. We had a great time and enjoyed it much more than we thought we would. We only finished about 1/3 of the room. The owners have done an outstanding job with this room and I'm sure the other 2 are just as great. We will definitely be back to try out the others. I think we'll bring additional help the next time though. read more

This was our first escape room ever. 2 adults and 2 children. We did not escape, despite all of the hints provided. This was so fun! There was some fussing between the kids and again between the adults and kids, but it was all in fun. We will definitely be returning. We enjoyed a walk around old time Spring afterwards. I've been to a lot of escape rooms and every time I have gone has been with 6-8 people, which I believe is a standard amount. My group of 8 did the Time Travel room, the notorious hard room. This escape room is composed of 4 "rooms" in itself, the beginning room for instructions & clues, a 1922 themed bar, bank, and railroad track. We were to find 3 items, one in each room. We did not know items in one room were to only be used in that room, (because we weren't told) leading to things getting lost and hectic. We found 1/3 items and later learned that a group of 8 has a 9% escape in that room, which is insane. If the escape room has that small of a success rate, there's something wrong with the room. I would definitely recommend The Lock Houston over this place! read more

This place is amazing!!!! My husband and I went in without really knowing what to expect. We did the "Detention- One Last Day of Summer" and actually finished it with 2 minutes to spare!
