When I first toured the facility for the first time, Gladys gave a thorough tour & carefully explained the party packages. I really liked how everything was continuously being cleaned and all play areas were well maintained. On the day of the party, our party host Aaliyah made the event go so smoothly. She was super nice & very proactive to help. My son who is very shy ended up having an amazing time here! There is a variety of play areas that can suit different ages & preferred play styles. I really like how they do a 5 min bubble dance party with your choice of songs, which makes it extra special & personalized. We came to Hyper Kidz for a birthday party and had such a great experience! The customer service was amazing, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout the event. What I love most is how they have attractions designed for kids of all ages, so everyone has something fun to enjoy. My brother booked a party for my 3 year old nephew, who had a fantastic time! The party room host was very helpful, providing set up, clean up, and pizza and cake serving. Compared to other indoor kids' playgrounds, this one is by far the cleanest, most thoughtful, and spacious. It was our first time here for a birthday party. From the start, everyone is required to remove their shoes before entering the play space. There are plenty of seating areas for the adults to supervise their children at each section of the playspace. It is sectioned off based on age, so you don't have toddlers running over infants. The party room was quiet and spacious, and the attendant was very polite and attentive to the host family's requests. One practice that this place has for birthdays is to call the group to the dance floor for a dance party before transitioning into the party room. I think it's really thoughtful as the kids aren't abruptly pulled from playing straight into the party room, providing an organic transition. Throughout our time here, I saw workers vacuuming the floors and cleaning the common areas. There is a coffee counter in the back with drinks for purchase as well as concessions for sale in the front. The bathrooms were immaculate. Since everyone is wearing socks, they provide foot coverings at the bathroom entrance. Lastly, a very unexpected bonus was the Lactation Room that my bride discovered that is quietly tucked in the back, fully furnished with a recliner, soft lighting, changing table, sink, bottle warmer, outlets, and even a small bench for additional children. I was visiting my daughter and my grandson and we brought him here to burn off some energy. The place just recently opened. We absolutely loved the place. The staff is super friendly and it's very spacious and clean with tons of things for the kids to do. They also offer food and snack options. The hard part is trying to get the kids to leave. This is the new kid on the block as far as kids play areas goes. And it delivers. It's huge and is separated by age groups. My kids are 4 now so they can play in the big kids area but sometimes they like to come over and play with the smaller kids non toddler areas as well. But the main area has lots of things to explore. They spent almost 2 hours here which is a lot! I believe their pricing here is for the whole day. They did not push buying any grip socks. We have so many now so we brought our own. It's new so the equipment is not damaged and dirty yet. It's a bit far from the house but if not we'd be here more often. read more

Our family visited Hyper Kidz Westchase the morning of August 6. As soon as we walked in, my 4-year-old son urgently needed to use the bathroom. He was visibly uncomfortable and trying to hold it. I immediately went to the counter to complete the registration, waiver and payment process while my husband explained the situation to the manager and asked to take our son to the restroom. The manager refused. She said our 4-year-old could not use the bathroom until the waiver process was completed--even though I was standing directly in front of her actively completing the paperwork. What made this especially disturbing was that the restroom was less than 40 feet from the registration counter, directly along the wall from the entrance, and completely separate from the play area. Getting to it did not require entering or passing through any play space whatsoever. My husband simply wanted to walk our preschooler a few feet to the restroom before he was forced to wet himself while I finished the paperwork. What's even more disturbing followed. I immediately completed the waiver. However, the manager continued arguing with us and initially refused to even look up the completed waiver. We eventually had to insist--very loudly--that she verify it because our 4-year-old was at risk of urinating all over himself and the premises. The manager finally confirmed that I had signed the waiver. Astonishingly, she STILL refused to let my husband take our son to the restroom because I, rather than my husband, had signed it. At that point, a parent and legal guardian had executed the waiver. The bathroom was a few feet away. No play area needed to be entered. Yet this manager continued intentionally creating one obstacle after another to prevent a 4-year-old who desperately needed the bathroom from getting there. The continued treatment also raised concerns for us that I have asked Hyper Kidz corporate management to investigate. My husband is Black, I am Chinese, and ours is a multiracial family. I cannot know the manager's motivations. However, once the manager's stated justification had been satisfied and she nevertheless continued putting additional barriers in our way, I believe it is appropriate to ask corporate whether implicit bias or unequal treatment played any role. Hyper Kidz's entire business is built around families with young children. A company cannot credibly call itself "family-friendly" while its management refuses a 4-year-old urgent access to a restroom a few feet away while his mother is standing at the counter completing the company's paperwork. The lack of judgment and basic compassion demonstrated by this manager was extraordinary, and I seriously question whether someone who treats a young child this way should be managing a business whose customers entrust it with their children. I have submitted a detailed formal complaint to Hyper Kidz corporate management and requested an investigation into this incident. If this is Hyper Kidz policy, parents of young children deserve to know that before coming here. If it is not, I expect the company to address the conduct of this manager. I will update this review with Hyper Kidz corporate management's response. read more

Disappointed with our visit. The place was way too crowded, which made it hard for the kids to actually enjoy the equipment safely. What really bothered me was being forced to buy socks -- $6.99 for 2 pairs -- even as an adult just sitting on the sidelines watching my kids play. To make it worse, the socks weren't even grippy -- they were slippery to walk on, so they didn't even serve the safety purpose they're supposedly required for. It felt less like a safety policy and more like a straight-up upsell. If non-participating adults aren't going near the equipment, there's no reason to mandate an overpriced, ineffective purchase just to walk in. Management should reconsider capacity limits and rethink policies that feel more like a money grab than genuine safety concerns. read more

Always on the lookout for family-friendly activities around Houston, this was one of the few spots on our list. From a social media perspective, it looked fun and engaging. However, our in-person experience fell short. Upon entry, the first interaction was being asked whether we had signed a waiver rather than a welcoming greeting or a brief overview for first-time visitors on how the Hyper Kids space works. A few additional concerns stood out. Several areas had a very strong urine odor, which was hard to ignore. Team members were frequently on their phones throughout our visit, and the power went out twice within the 30 minutes we were there. While socks are offered, I would strongly recommend making grip socks mandatory, as multiple children were slipping. Would we return? Unfortunately, probably not. read more

We bought online tickets over the week to come on a Sunday and even though most of Houston was closed this place was open and much needed because my kid was going stir crazy. Place was super clean, well maintained, had a ton of things for kids to do, and even had snacks and food. Parking was a plenty and there were places you could eat around there if you wanted to. Hardest part was if your kids are running around or in the little areas then you can't really see them so kind of freaked me out a bit. We went when it wasn't as crowded so we were lucky because we got to do it all without waiting or unsupervised children which is usually the case during normal times anywhere else. read more

Our first visit was amazing -- my son loved it so much that we decided to get a month membership. I really appreciate that there's a separate area just for toddlers, which most places don't have, and that it's also Autism-friendly. The only thing I'd change is the layout of the play area -- it's a bit of a maze, and some sections can be tricky to navigate -- but aside from that, the place and the staff are truly wonderful. read more
