We came here for some ice cream. The ice creams were chunky and creamy. They were super nice and chill like before. Tables and chairs are clean. Parking hasn't changed from before. Free and in front but slow down on the ramp into and out of the lot.
Finally tried out this spot that's literally a hidden gem. They were not busy at all when I came in; no one inside sitting down or ordering which was nice (didn't feel sketchy at all tbh). The cashier was still very enthusiastic when I was ordering and although I am fluent in Spanish, sometimes I just want to order in English so I was very happy to find that the cashier was very fluent in English as well. I decided to come in because I reeeally wanted a fresh fruit cup and I really wasn't sure if they served it here but I thought, eh worth a try. So glad I tried it out because they definitely did have fruit. Prices were a little steep but you definitely get a bang for your buck.
I came here specifically for the elote that I heard amazing things about. It did not disappoint! This was literally the best elote I have ever had! The place was really cute inside as well and there was an option for yellow corn or white corn which was cool. I can't wait to come back to try the icecream!
Tarascos is always a hit. They do not skimp out and always have the most amazing flavors. The paletas are all refreshing on a hot day and the snacks look fire! Will definitely be back as usual.
Very friendly service. They were very helpful with our questions. It's very clean and the decor is nice. We got the Cookie Monster icecream and the mangonada which were both great. My kids just got mexican vanilla icecream on a cone and strawberry icecream on a cone which they enjoyed too. I did not know it was a thing but I also tried the hot Cheetos with warm queso cheese which was actually pretty good too.
Always a good time at Tarascos. Located in a seedy street center, Tarascos is anything but questionable. Love the huge variety of cream popsicles or icesicles. There are traditional flavors, unique flavors and comfort flavors of a south of the border spin. Tarascos can always be counted on a tasty treat on any day. The staff is quick and efficient and pricing is right where it should be. However their chocolate banana, while one of my favorites, has had its price more than double of the past few years. The place is pretty clean, particularly since they have sugary and sticky treats, its very well maintained. We will always make a stop at Tarascos, maybe you should too.
I love Tarascos, it's a hidden gem! My favorite things to get are the churros a la mode and an ice cream cone (try the mocha crunch flavor- it's my favorite thing ever now.) Super relaxed vibe, staff are always nice and chill. Also- the cone in this pic is a medium but it took the combined efforts of me and a friend to finish. Can you imagine how there's an even bigger one offered??? All of this for $9! Love u Tarascossss
Cute little shop with homemade ice cream and paletas. All the flavors tasted so good! I had the passionfruit and condensed milk paleta, and my sister had the coconut. Full of flavor and can't wait to go back and try more flavors! Workers were nice enough to take the time and explain different flavors Seating areas are available Will definitely be back!!!

Now because of COVID all I see are lots of MASK HOS Used to hit on all of them now I can barely ASK HOS For their numbers, COVID makes me not up to the TASK HOS So instead I grab a Guava Lolly at TARASCOS Went to San Sebastian and met a lot of BASQUE HOS Walked around with alcohol like all these other FLASK HOS I can't yelp while drinking I'm not like those MULTITASK HOS But for Paletas I head directly to TARASCOS! WHAT! This is a really amazing local ice cream shop that has all kinds of incredible Latin and international flavours. My fave is the sensational Guava Paleta, made with big chunks of fruit like most of the real and authentic homemade Paletas here, but their ice cream is popular, is tropical, and is well worth a try too. They do a really amazing job of making their products exciting and delicious and fun, and they have been thrilling the Westchase Community for quite a long time. Definitely one of the better ice cream shops in the Greater Houston area, and also extremely original and impressive. Down in Houston, the Rockets are "The Team" But desserts here aren't always as good as they seem Yet I know a Latin treats place that tastes like a dream Come and get some at Tarasco's Ice Cream! Five stars is the score that I will duly deem Suitable for your Queen and Prince Naseem Tastes so yummy they should come up with a Meme About the perfect flavours of Tarasco's Ice Cream! WHAT!
I came in on a Friday afternoon. Overall, the atmosphere was cute, and I love the ambiance of the room. There was only one worker that I met, and it was a slow afternoon. She recommended the tres leches flavor ice cream to go with my "Churros a la mode" order, and that flavor was delicious. The only downside was the restrooms. They are located in the back, and the hallways to get back to them were dark, and cramped. But it didn't put me down in the slightest. Overall, if I can, I would love to come back here again..
This place is so yummy! Their tres leches ice cream is one of the best I've ever had. It's a small place but it makes up for it in flavor. I'm definitely a fan!
Took my grandkids here and they absolutely loved it! They could not finish it all in their tiny 1 scoop bowl I got a split scoop absolutely wonderful! And Homemade Palettes

The staff were friendly and efficient and definitely gave my kids a healthy scoop of delicious ice cream. They gave samples without hesitation and were very positive and upbeat. The ambience is one of fun festive with good music. Definitely coming back for the good ice cream. read more

I love this place! They have the absolute BEST ice cream I've had yet. My fave cake is tres Leches & they're ice cream & popsicle version is absolutely amazing. All homemade & yummy. Also had the flan+tres Leches scoops and what a pleasant combo! read more
I can't believe I've been driving past this place all this time and never noticed it! They have a key lime ice cream and a blackberry cheesecake flavor which were amazing, but I went with the Nutella and Gansito double scoop. Usually I'm not able to finish a double scoop of ice cream, but I ate it all. Can't wait to go back for the key lime! read more
This place has expanded and changed a lot since my initial review. The prices have gone up a bit, but they are still an awesome deal! They finally decluttered the menu board a bit, and it looks great! Love that they're not afraid to play around with different creations. Love that there is now more seating, as the popularity of this place has exploded! Well done! Love this local find! read more

I can't believe i didn't discover this place sooner! Plenty of parking and lots of table inside, super cute! They have tons of Ice cream and Popsicle flavors and they change up some of the flavors from time to time. Vasoelote (4/5) - need more sour cream, just missing a little something. Unicorn ice cream flavor 3 leches (5/5) - super cute, soft and tasty! Avocado popsicle (5/5) - sooooo creamy and perfection! Sweet corn ice cream flavor (5/5) - really good, but i think this flavor comes and go because i can't back and didn't see it. read more

Great service, huge selection, and cute place. I didn't love my cheesecake selection, but my kiddos and husband loved their choices! They have a great variety, and I'll be back to try something else. It's kinda tucked away in the shopping center, and it took us a minute to see it. I wish the sign on the outside stood out a little more, but the inside is fabulous! The employee helping us was very patient, and she smiled while my kids sampled far too many flavors. read more

Oh my gosh this place is AMAZING. Visiting my parents in Houston and my mom and I came here for paletas after reading glowing reviews. I am SO GLAD we did! The store is clean and the employees are friendly and helpful. Their menu is extensive and they have unique flavors I haven't seen other places! I had a banana-Nutella paleta and it was the BEST ice cream/popsicle I have ever eaten!!! We bought more to take home and they travelled so nicely because they're all individually wrapped. So looking forward to going back!!! **UPDATE: we DID go back and the other flavors did not disappoint! Strawberry- Kiwi was delicious and my family said strawberry cheesecake and mango were, too! We took so many home after we knew how much we loved it. Can't wait to try more flavors!!! read more

Delicious. This place is worth our 20 min drive. They have the best coffee I've cream made by the human race. The Paletas come MANY flavors. Coco is my go to option. The reward system is pretty good. We get free items every three or four visits. read more

Their elote and mangonadas are good, but the real star of the show is their ice cream!! . Tarascos has Mexican flavors as well as the traditional favorites. My personal favorites are Taro & Gansito. Fill ten hearts into their punch card and exchange it for a small ice cream cup, cone or popsicle. With so many options you will be there in no time. read more

Cute little place with tons of options including vegan and dairy free! I was craving mango with chamoy and tajin and got the fruit cocktail which is delicious! Fresh fruit not slimy like a lot of places that seem to let it sit out all day. Will definitely be a regular here. read more

My 4 year likes ice cream, but never really finishes a cup anywhere. She devoured a kids cup of bubble gum and then a cup of mango. I ordered the mangonada. You have the option of putting mango, lime, or tamarindo sorbet or two flavors or all of the above. I opted for mango and tamarindo and it was delish! I couldn't eat it right away but it was too frozen, but when I got home, I dove into it with a spoon! Lots of interesting flavors to choose from! read more
