Upon purchasing our new home, we were put in contact with Wesley of Pool Whip Pros. We hired Pool Whip to first clean, then maintain our pool. If I had to choose one word to describe Wesley/Pool Whip Pros over the past year, I'd say it is "responsive." Wesley immediately got to work to clean up the mess that we purchased... and made it a beautiful, clean, fully functioning pool. The monthly maintenance was consistent and well done. Then came the multiple atmospheric rivers of early 2023. I was very concerned that the immense volume of rain water, combined with the full pool, would spill over and cause damage to the house. I found Pool Whip because I was standing out front my house and saw one of their trucks across the street. I thought what the heck and took a picture of the number on the truck and ended up calling them a couple weeks later. I've always taken care of my pool but finally got to the point where I wanted a professional to take a look at it. Wow was I in for a class on pool care. I called and spoke to Wesley and from the get go I knew I didn't know half of what I thought I did when it came to water chemistry. We set up an appointment to meet and I was impressed right away. He was so patient and knowledgeable about how to keep my pool clean along with preserving the surface by paying more attention to what I was adding. We have been a Pool Whip customer for half a year. Best move ever. Thanks to their weekley chemical service our pool has never looked this good. Their staff is always eager to answer any questions that come up while servicing the pool. The pool filter would not turn on this morning. Not good for the water quality when the pump is not running for a few days in this heat. Based on past experience that is how long it would take to get a technician to come over. Then they have to come back at a later date with the part. That is all in the past. Pool Whip's service is at a complete different level. I called Arielee ( she's the best) at Pool Whip at 9 AM. Wesley ( the owner) dropped by at 11.45 AM. He changed the breaker and capacitor, both which he had in is truck. The pool filter pump was up and running a half hour later. I've never written a Yelp review before but I've been so impressed with Pool Whip Pros that I felt that I needed to. It's so hard to find a company with such amazing customer service. Wes has really impressed us. We first called them in November 2020 because our pool pump wasn't working. We called multiple companies and he was the only one that responded the same day! We had our new pump installed shortly after. This month our pool heater broke down and again we called Wes. With Covid, I was expecting to wait a few days to hear back, but again he responded within hours! We had a new heater in a week. Since we weren't home when he came to do the install, he came back a different day to go over the instructions and answer all my questions. The customer service that they provide is so impressive. I had been using another company for almost 2 years... My pool was never right... looked slightly green always even with weekly service - kids would even swim in it. Our pool needed a new pump, black algae treatment and the concrete pool deck needed new joint sealant. Wesley and his team did a fantastic job with everything! The deck joints look amazing as Welsey suggested a color that really made the joints in the concrete deck look sharp! The black algae treatment worked out great as it got rid of all the algae. And Wesley was able to score an energy efficient pump that really circulates my pool water now. The water looks crystal clear now, the best it's ever looked! They also have been cleaning and checking my chemical levels on a weekly basis since last August when we moved in. I had a high copper and other metal content in my pool and it was very very green and very low pH. After internet research and multiple pool store contacts, was given the only solution of draining my fiberglass pool. The pool manufacturer suggest Westley at Pool Whips. On brief call to him and he did a weekend of research and called back on Monday. He recommended a specific CuLator 4 product and I used it and resolved my problem. This saved me water replacement costs, $52 for product and no charge from Pool Whips. Avoid. He put our pool filter in wrong. There were 2 connections. In and Out written on the filter in black ink. And Wesley put them in wrong. For 2 1/2 months the swimming pool never got clean. I spent hours every week trying to clean it. Never worked until I finally saw on Youtube the way it should have been done and that he had screwed up. Got black algae and more. At least he fixed it without charging me. And I wouldn't have him clean my pool! Didn't do a good job there either. read more
