Mark from Norel turns my solar on and off every year and it's very reasonable. His communication is strong and he is also knowledgeable with all pool repairs. He was recommended to me by my pool service company and I'm very satisfied with service he's provided and can highly recommend him. read more

service has declined over the last five years. had an issue they could not fix and the owner was abrupt, rude and didn't care. recommend anyone using his service, to find another company and do not recommend anyone to engage his services. read more

We have used over 5 service companies over the past 23 years that we have been "pool owners". Nor-Cal has been by far the best company we have ever used. We have been using Nor-Cal for about 18 months now and I continue to be impressed with their service. Before NorCal we would get an Algal bloom every Spring and it was a battle to get the service company to get it right. The last company we worked with in Lafayette wouldn't even come out before our barbecue and I spent hundreds of dollars at Sandys buying chemicals in a last ditch attempt to save the swim party. We switched after that and we have no regrets. You can't go wrong with NorCal. Our pool has never looked so good year round. BTW- I rarely post a review on Yelp, but this Company deserves the recognition. read more

John is the best! He and his office staff are very professional and follow through with their promises. John preformed a equipment remodel for me. My equipment went from being a bunch of unnecessary 90 degree turns into a stream live beauty. John painted my equipment to match my pump and filter which really made my equipment and eye sore no more. He does my weekly service and my pool has never looked better. I have and will continue to recommend Nor-Cal Pool to all my friends. read more

I hesitate to write this review because I would like to this service to myself. John at Nor-Cal pools is truly a hidden gem in the pool maintenance world. My pool system was not working and I had already had two people look at it and they had conflicting ideas as to what the problem was. Both solustions were very expensive. As a side note, my pool system is not the easiest to understand. (Two speed pump, digital timer, solar panels, gas heater, pool sweep, etc). John examined everything and got my system running within 45 minutes. He also took the time to check and fix other things like leaks and how efficiently my pool system was running. John fine tuned several little items and explained everything at a level that I could understand. All for a reasonable price. What more can you ask for? read more

John is awesome. He knows his stuff. For instance, I just got a new pool heater and the tech that installed it was explaining the instructions so fast it went over my head. I called john frantic, because I was having a party that day. John said, I be over in a hour and he was there in a hour and explained to me on how to work the heater. John saved me that day. My pool always look Gorgeous. I receive weekly services and I have no complaints. Let's not forget the women behind the scene Ali the office manager, who is very professional and understanding. She returns calls or emails promptly. I never asked for a better Pool Company. I have recommended one of my friends and now they are part of the Nor-Cal Pool Service Company. read more

Prompt and reliable. John came in a really did an awesome job. I've never seen my pool so clean! He provided advice and even helped out with the filters. If he serviced my area for monthly cleanings i would totally sign him up. I've tried multiple companies - they end up overcharging me or showing up at odd times. This is the first real company that really helped and provided excellent service! read more

John is friendly, knowledgeable and extremely understanding when considering the best way to approach our pool situation. He even offered much needed advice on our Solar System and helped me understand better how I can care for my filter system.
