Finally, came in on a Sunday around 4:15 no reservation. It's a room meant to wow and it does in a few ways. Decor, patrons & prices. Ate: Nice bread basket Salmons Alla terra Chicken scarpiello Linguine Del Mar Italian cheesecake Cappuccino Total $147 for 3 The olive oil requested & served was top notch which was a big win for me. At $38 the salmon was pricey, but it was a meal served with both zucchini & nice al dente broccoli. The salmon served sans skin with overcooked zucchini was generous and tasty nonetheless. The chicken scarpiello with vinegar peppers was the top dish. I would get that again. Italian cheesecake was ok, likely not housemade. PV is definitely a vibe if you're in the area.

I know people that refer to Ponte Vecchio as "The Last Real Italian Restaurant in Brooklyn." I don't know what that means really because there's plenty of other classic Italian spots around, but they are my friends, so we know their judgment is questionable at best. However, I do really love grabbing a big group, and celebrating here. (Going to Bay Ridge feels like a celebration to me, and I'm sure that's how everyone feels.) In an ideal world, you want to sit in the comfortable backyard on a warm night, drink an excellent martini or two, and follow it up with wine and a seafood heavy order. Calamari. Baked clams. Soft-shell crabs if they're in season. Spaghetti vongole. Mussels. Swordfish with pesto. Raindrops on roses. These are a few of my favorite things. The staff is usually great. I love the older bartender who makes those mean martinis, and the borderline abusive waitstaff that makes me feel like I'm at home except when they call me "Big Guy." They'll bring out an absurd dessert plate and sparklers for a birthday, and that will make up for the fact that it's a little too pricey for what you get.

My first visit to Ponte Vecchio was to celebrate the wedding of some close friends. First of all kudos to our server Pat and his assistant from Ecuador whose name I forgot to find out for their friendly, efficient and professional service as well as to the kitchen staff for preparing a delicious meal. We began with some champagne and a delicious array of appetizers including fresh tender fried calamari, a stuffed fig and bacon special, fried zucchini and fried mozzarella. And of course an arugula salad to pretend we were eating healthy! Our main courses included two veal dishes, steak and an off the menu eggplant Parmigiana. All were very tasty. For dessert we split a phenomenal cannoli and a tiramisu. I had half (okay 3/4) of the cannoli (A+) along with excellent cappuccino and coffees.

Always a pleasure coming here. 815 reservation, welcomed by staff immediately when walked in. Bartender was attentive, ordered a drink, set at our table. Our waiter was fun, knowledgeable and sweet. It was my birthday so a round of drinks and dessert was complimentary. Started with spidini which was off the charts amazing. The sauce was flavorful the mozzarella melted in your mouth. For entree my husband ordered chicken rollitini and i ordered veal breaded, with peas in a mushroom sauce. Both were fantastic. Again so flavorful every bite popped in your mouth. The ambiance as always was awesome. It was crowded but didn't feel over crowded. Music was on, it was a great night out. Thank you again for everything

The food and service here is amazing. I ordered a bottle of Pinot Nior to start. Then into the fried calamari. Perfectly fired and fresh. The sauce served with it was perfect. The bread was lightly toasted and fresh. There was even breadsticks. Then onto the pasta Ponte Vecchio. Perfectly cooked pasta with peas, prosciutto, in a red cream sauce. Perfectly made. The waiter was very helpful and stayed on top of the table but not overbearing. Be prepared it is kinda of loud in there. Plenty of tables with clean white table cloths. There was music but as the place filled, couldn't hear it anymore. The price was right and I really didn't have any complaints.

Food was delicious as usual. Perfect date night spot in Brooklyn. The sword fish special was on point.

They give you your own bowl of parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes !! Heaven lol

The service was wonderful and it was a packed house, which was pretty surprising for a Wednesday, and it wasn't great weather. We were seated immediately and the staff was super attentive and friendly! I had a stuffed artichoke and some spicy spaghetti. Big portions! My date had burrata with broccoli rabe and I believe he had red snapper? Some sort of fish lol. It was all very good. Tartuffo and coffee for dessert. Overall a wonderful experience and I would go back.

Always fresh seafood, vegetables and desserts. Patrick is such a comfortable provider at all times, we just love him. Valet parking is very important, open for lunch is just perfect!

We came here after a World Cup match between England and Norway. Of course, England won, and we were festive. We were slightly late to our reservation without any problem. We started with fried calamari and shrimp with marinara sauce and a nice bottle of Sauvignon Blanc. For the main entree, I selected traditional lasagna verde with three meat Ragù and Bechamel, while my partner chose homemade fettuccine al Ragù with pork and beef. We had a wonderful dinner here. Starters: Fried calamari and shrimp- this was a good start although missing a little flavor to the batter but it was good nonetheless. Whipped burrata-this was delicious but it could have been even better with some more of the delicious house bread that we were offered upon arrival. Drinks: Balsamic peach spritz (not pictured) the graduate's favorite drink of the day! She raved about it the entire time. Aperol spritz- very refreshing with a beautiful citrus twist! I loved it. Old fashioned- my boyfriend throughly enjoyed this classic drink. Entrees: Oven roasted branzino- AMAZING! The cook on the branzino was perfect and the broccolini and mini carrots added a beautiful crunch to my experience. I could have taken another order to go. My boyfriend had the house ravioli which was salmon and after taking one bite, I can attest that it was INCREDIBLY delicious! Everyone else thoroughly enjoyed their meals: Ribeye steak Lamb chops with spinach mashed potatoes Lamb chops with roasted potatoes Roasted Chicken Rustichella We ended the celebration with dessert: Olive oil cake- not too sweet and fluffy. Tiramisu- sinfully good! Overall, we had an incredible dining experience and would highly recommend it.

The sunchokes and apples are tossed in a creamy and slightly herbal dressing. Burrata - really great. The eggplant base is richly spiced and tart to complement the rich and creamy burrata. Passion project - delicious drink with notes of passion fruit, chocolate, and some spices. The others in my group also had the duck (which they found to be a bit overly loaded with duck fat) and the reginette (which they enjoyed). The room is small and romantic, homemade pasta hangs in the front window, and the whole evening felt less like dining out and more like being invited into someone's family table in Florence. We started with the fritto misto, a well executed mix of fried fish and vegetables, alongside an insalata caprese that let fresh tomatoes, burrata and basil speak for themselves. From there we went family style, which is really the only way to do it here. The bucatini cacio e pepe was as much performance as dish, mixed tableside directly in the cheese wheel. The fusilloni di Gragnano from Puglia paired scampi with burrata, cherry tomatoes and arugula for a bright, briny plate, while the tagliatelle verdi brought a rich wild boar ragu finished with fresh black truffle. The two standouts, though, were the agnolotti ossobuco with veal sauce and pecorino fondue rounded out with thyme and lemon, and the lasagna Bolognese. That lasagna, layered with meat ragu, tomato and bechamel, may be the best I have ever had. We paired the meal with a bottle of Salvioni 2022 Rosso di Montalcino, aromatic and beautifully matched to the food. The space is cozy and intimate rather than sprawling, so a reservation is a smart call. Everything else, from the food to the atmosphere to the sense that someone's nonna was cooking just for us, made this one of the most memorable meals in NYC. We would return without hesitation.

I can't say enough great things about the decor the ambience and imagining all of the past goings on in this restaurant. It's been watching over Brooklyn for well over 100 years now! And that's why the kitchen which is at the very back of the restaurant has full glass windows so that you can see exactly what's going on in there. I guess some of these mob guys were paranoid and rightly so consider considering their history. I arrived with my friend on a Wednesday evening about 6 PM and there were some scattered tables but by 7 PM it was mobbed (pun intended ) in there!! our waiter was affable and patient and a quite enjoyable fellow.
