Service is usually decent, and occasionally great, but it's the amazing food and epic happy hour that keep us coming back. Perfect pies, great drinks and a comfortable atmosphere. It's all here. read more

Lei Lani is AMAZING. I sat at the bar and she gave me great recommendations and was always smiling. If you ever come to Pomo in DT phx, hopefully she can serve you! What a shining star :) read more

WOW!!! I would give this restaurant 10 stars if I could . The host was great, the server Zoe was outstanding and the food was delicious! Best pizza I have ever had. Relaxing chill ambience. Please consider opening a Pomo in North Peoria. You would kill it! This location is far from our house but so worth the drive. We will be back soon! read more

Delivery was fast and efficient but pizza was bizarre. Ordered a Margherita and all the basil was piled in the center of the pie (see photo) which is simply incorrect. Even distribution of ingredients is standard. read more

This food was delicious as were the drinks. We enjoyed the patio which is dog friendly. We took my puppy with and he enjoyed himself too. The service was friendly yet he was busy. Not as attentive as he could have been. This is a small and welcoming atmosphere. We did enjoy our time there and will definitely return. read more

Great food, drinks and service. The homemade pasta is delicious!! Salads big and very fresh. Great happy hour deals!!

Was in town for a conference and stumbled on this spot. The pizza selection they have is amazing and love how it's fired cooked. They also have great gelato they make in house read more

After calling to see if we could make a reservation, the hostess said it was first come first served. We arrived and the hostess said that it would be a 1 1/2 hour wait. So after we waited 2 hours, I went to the hostess's stand and asked how much longer she said that they were cleaning a table now & it would be a few minutes more... after waiting for another 1/2 hour we were finally seated. When we received the check they added a gratuity for 5 people which is fine, but because they didn't tell us that they would be doing this my husband left a $25.00 tip on top of the gratuity that they added to the bill. This was soooo shady! What a disappointment! Do give your money to the restaurant! read more

This is a staple after my daughter's performances. We love their pizzas and eggplant parmesan and I of course have to have my Aperol Spritz. My son loves his gelato. Last time we came with some friends after they watch my daughters performance and they also loved it. We had meals here two days in a row. Can't go wrong. read more

The closest thing to going to Italy for lunch or dinner! You can't go wrong here. The staff is very accommodating and focused on giving you authentic taste and excellent service. Their bar menu is awesome and so many of the cocktails are flavorful and unique. Don't eat too much which will be a hard thing to do, save room for their craft gelato my favorite is a black cherry. I wish I could have a true Limoncello one but I'm certain my waistline appreciates not. Oh! And talk about limoncello!! The do have the best homemade limoncello. It's a long process and sometimes run out but it will be worth the wait. Salute! read more

Really bad "Italian pizza" tomato sauce had no flavor, bad cheese and 2 small leaves of basil in a margherita pizza...just bad, the dough was the best part read more

Probably my favorite pizza place I've found in Phoenix over the past few months. I still have not dined-in and only picked up to-go orders. We ordered several different times, but for my birthday we ordered a large amount including both the Neopolitan pizzas, foccacia pizza, and even got a 32oz container of their blueberry mule. The neopolitan style pizza is my favorite because the crust is soft and the flavors shine a little more. The foccacia is great, but the toppings taste a little lighter due to having so much more bread. Toppings-wise, The quattro stagioni and the diavolo were crowd favorites. The mule was absolutely delicious. It's a bit sweet but I definitely drank more than I should because of the great flavor :) read more

Great service and great pizza. Kid friendly options and tasty gelato. Sat outside and sun was harsh for first 15 minutes, but great vibe after that. read more

I had a coworker that was born in Italy and she declared this her favorite pizza in Phoenix. So I had to try it out. Final verdict? It was delicious! I'd say in my top 3 of pizza places in Phoenix. There's lots of options to choose from for every taste. read more

We made reservations through Open Table. Two options Standard or Outside. It's July in AZ so we chose standard assuming that was indoors. When we arrived they were taking us outside and we said no we chose standard. The guy said we don't have any indoor seating so once that is full standard defaults to outdoors. We did not stay to dine because we are not going to melt while eating dinner they did not have any outdoor air or misting system running. Just beware if you don't want to sit outside when it is steaming hot this might not be the place for you. read more

Service was A-Mazing! Leilani and Anna rocked it! They made the most fabulous drinks! I gave Anna an idea of what I wanted and she whipped up the most amazing masterpiece. read more

First off the food here is top tier! Just moved to AZ a month ago and I have been on a mission to find good eats, unfortunately it has been disappointing until I tried Pomo. Granted, coming from Cali there's not much that can woo me but even after doordashing the principle pizza, Gramigna bascaiola(I don't even know how pronounce that) and tiramisu it was a 10/10, I can't imagine how better it would have been if I ate inside. Give the chef a kiss for me because I'm bout be a regular here and try other things on the menu in the near future! read more

The absolute best service in all of downtown Phoenix! Our waiter was so amazing! He guided us through the entire menu and even helped us with the gelato selection! The pizza, calamari and gelato were all incredibly delicious. The ambiance is really inviting and chic. I now understand why they have so many locations! Thank you POMO for a wonderful birthday celebration! read more

Without a doubt, the best gluten-free pizza I have enjoyed in The Valley. A very friendly and homey bar too.

Sat at the bar to have dinner during happy hour. The mixed drinks were half off and were delicious. I ordered a veggie pizza; crust was nice and crisp, plenty of toppings. My bartender was friendly and attentive, and the other customers at the bar were super friendly. No complaints here, would return if back in town. read more

I've been to Pomo more times than I can count and have had just about everything on the menu. It's the best!! I've been raving about Pomo to my boyfriend for 2 years now, and he finally had it last weekend -- he has not stopped raving about it. He's a standard "meat and potatoes" kind of guy, so he was skeptical that pasta would hit the spot. The meatballs were 10/10, and each pasta dish we had were both 10/10. You can't go wrong here! Good people, good vibes, good food read more

Ridulously amazing. Food, drinks...omg try the espresso martini! The Gelato is amazing. Staff is personable, just lovely!! Martini by Brandon hits! Zoe was the best. She made absolutely awesome recommendations. Don't miss this place. read more

Love coming here!! Zoe is AMAZING my friends and I keep coming back because she's such a great server.

While the leoparding looked pretty decent, it ended up being too chewy and no that good. They also put way too much cheese, so not well balanced at all read more

This is a wonderful place. The food was served hot, the service was prompt and the place was nearly full.

Finally had a chance to check this place out. Great patio and inside was very cute and stylish. The food was outstanding! We ordered the diavola, lasagna, and the Burrata Di Bufala appetizer. The pizza was so delicious, the crust was perfect and the spicy soppressata was just the right heat. The lasagna was melt in your mouth, so good! The sauce was so complex and rich, full of flavor. The appetizer had the most delicious tomatoes. We finished with gelato for dessert and it was the best I ever had! The amaretto gelato was heavenly, the bases tasted just like cheesecake. So so good! And one of the best parts of our experience was the top notch service! If you can, ask for Malachai! He was an exceptional server! Went above and beyond and was very friendly and professional. Even the rest of the staff was very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this place! read more

Always great service but even better food and gelato! They let you try as many flavors of gelato before you find the one for you. (I know a lot of places who limit, or get upset when you ask to try another flavor, but not here!) read more

Very disappointed in the experience of dealing with the phone program that supports Best Buy. It has been very frustrating and difficult to maneuver through. I have spent hours trying to accomplish something that should have been very simple to one to successful conclusion . read more

It was ok. Food was salty and nothing special. Very busy place but I didn't see it better than Olive Garden which isn't amazing Italian food. read more

Went for a graduation dinner. The pizza was very good. The dough was spot on. The bruschetta instead was horrible, very thick bread, cold flavorless tomatoes on top and un toasted bread. Just really really bad, and nothing a "real" Italian pizzeria would ever serve. read more

The staff here is wonderful and truly cares about you, but this place has changed a lot in the last few months (and for the worse). I would have given this place 5 stars before, but the management got rid of their amazing happy hours and they have made their portions smaller. It's clear the management isn't interested in appeasing their regulars, but would rather try to make money, which has definitely cost them a lot of the business they were getting before the huge changes to their menu. It used to seem like a fun place to work and hang out at, but now the staff seems extra stressed and there isn't really anything special about the place anymore. You can totally find a better and happier happy hour and salad elsewhere. read more

Great pizza and service is good. Have not gone to there new downtown location. Only went to Scottsdale location several times. Loved it.

Pomo just to happened to be within the same vicinity of The Churchill. We decided to stop in for some food before hitting up Pobrecito. The husband ordered a pizza, can't remember which one but he loved it. The pizza was thin with the right amount of sauce, cheese and meats. I ordered the Mista insalate with grilled shrimp. I wanted something light / refreshing and it hit the spot. We are looking forward to our next visit, I'd like to order a pizza next time and the caprese. read more

We had the most enjoyable evening with dear friends at Pomo Downtown Phoenix last night. It felt great to sit out on their shaded patio with misters and soak in the downtown vibe. The food has always been great here and the service impressive. However, last night our server Tayler set a new bar. Her energy was delightful yet professional. It is a rare occasion nowadays that restaurant staff are aware of, much less keen to their customers' overall dining experience. Tayler went above and beyond to monitor our table, give us plenty of space to enjoy our conversation, but also anticipate any need we may have. Her personal attention absolutely made the difference between what could have been an average-to-good experience to creating an exceptional evening for us at Pomo. Thank you, Tayler! read more

Pomo is hands down the BEST and the GREATEST OF ALL TIME places to eat in downtown Phoenix. The pomo pizza has changed my life and the cocktails have never been poured more beautifully. For real their pizza slaps my taste buds so hard I've almost had to called the police just to tell them my mouths been assaulted . Jay, the manager (also a lady killer with that English accent) is the most personable, friendliest, professional, and dare I say..... FUNNIEST person I've ever come across in the restaurant industry. Pomo will one day be the industry standard for Italian pizza, mark my words. Also the bartenders are better than any bartenders in town. This restaurant has changed my life and I recommend this place to EVERYONE IN THE WORLD. I'm about to eat a Burratella pizza a day so these love handles for Pomo stttaaayyyyyyyy. read more

My favorite pizza place in the city. Fantastic dough, always cooked to perfection and everything else on the menu is great. Amazing quality and attention to every detail and ingredient. The drinks, apps, salad and even the gelato are all top notch. We love Pomo! read more

Great pizza and wonderful service by Marsha. Finally we found a pizza place as good as Barcelona. We'll be back for sure.

I've been to Pomo a few times and it is now one of my favorite pizza & pasta spots. We came here after a yelp elite event and it did not disappoint! I got the Strozzapreti pasta and we got the risotto croquettes to share! My friends got the orotolana pizza which they liked but didn't like how the added veggies made it fall apart. We also got free limonecello shots but didn't totally care for. The gelato is pretty good which we did try! read more
