They offer brown and white rice or a salad base with things like spring mix (or you can mix and match). They have varied sizes (small, regular, large etc) so you can get a quick snack or a heavier dinner. The small with one scoop protein was the perfect size for me. When I first came to Austin I did not expect there to be any decent poke spots, but Poke House proved me wrong! I've been here several times and the fish is always fresh, and the bowls are decently priced and always filled to the brim (mostly because I order almost every topping). I consider myself a big eater, and even then the regular bowl is enough for a filling dinner. There are a multitude of ways one can customize their bowl, which makes this an easy spot to order at with larger groups. I wouldn't consider this authentic Hawaiian poke, but the bowls make for a tasty, cheap meal when I'm craving fish. This place assembles the bowls in front of you, so it's usually pretty quick to get food. There is a decent amount of seating, although on busier days I imagine it could be difficult to find a table. Since it's located in a large plaza, there is also plenty of parking. I would definitely recommend signing up for their rewards program if you plan to return often, as this can get you significant discounts over time! read more

So Let's be honest, for those of us who like Sushi and anything raw from the sea. It's nice to go to a down-low style of that, without having to spend a lot of money. I am thinking for post people a Good Poke Bowl beats out Chirashi, any day of the week. I am certain That I have been to every poke place in Austin (yes we're counting H-mart). When it comes down to it they are all basically Raw Fish subways. Therefore the real judge of the food is the quality of the fish, and the matching of the condiments. For me, if I walk into a Poke place, and you put raw fish on steaming fresh rice, we have a problem. Temperature control, sanitizer jon. and quality needs to be paramount in Poke restaurants. This restaurant is one of the cleanest Poke places I have seen with strong attention to detail, gloves, and use of social distancing. The cleanliness in the prep area is superb, and the assignment of people to certain stations works better than one person following you all the way down the Subway line. Also, granted this location does not have spam, and their miso soup comes from basically a Keurig Machine, the quality and Cut of Fish alone, is high above other places that have skinny and small pieces. They only have a few toppings (I strongly recommend the Krab Salad-Krab with a K because it may be imitation), but they are much higher quality that most others and freshly prepared.
