My favorite poke place in Austin! This and the mueller location. Always fresh always large portions always so good! I love how you can add crab for free and all your favorite toppings. Some other role places charge by pound or limits toppings BUT not here. I also love their classic tuna and salmon~always so fresh and never had any issues. The seaweed also not fishy. I love all the crunchy stuff at the end. My bowls always end up being so pretty too! Absolutely love this place! I crave poke quite often so I go here regularly. Put in your email or phone number to rack up points and they generously give out discounts often here too! Come try! I saw now you can have a pokerito? But I will stick to my regular bowl ($15) that's perfect for a good lunch. I always do just rice with their house sauce but you can do half salad all salad or all rice etc. always so good! Don't miss out!

This is my go-to poke place in Austin!! Ingredients are always so fresh! You also get to choose whatever you want in your bowl if you're doing the make your own option. Workers are kind and efficient. Lots of seating available and a good amount of people flow through. Environment is chill and worth sitting and eating. I recommend their classic ahi poke!!

I love poke house! It's always fresh and delicious and workers are nice. I wish it wasn't extra to get 2 scoops of a topping like crab salad though.

4 scoops of salmon. 1 scoop of pre made salmon poke. 1 scoops ahi tuna. Avocado + Ginger.
    GiGi D.

Honestly, YUM... And I only got 4 scoops of salmon, 1 scoop of the pre-made salmon poke of the day and a scoop of ahi tuna... With avocado and ginger. I don't need frills and sauces when I eat poke, I just want straight fish and that's exactly what I got! It was fresh and satisfying! Zero complaints other than the avocado looking VERY unappetizing -- but I mean, avocados turn brown within 5 seconds of being cut open so I can't fault the restaurant for that!

Nice staff, easy to order and veggie availability for vegans . Easy parking lot . Clean tables . The bathrooms is a family style bathroom and demand. Restroom area was not flushed and the females restroom toilet was clean.

Came here for a work lunch and it was very good! Got a Poke bowl with poke and spicy tuna! Loved all the customization option -had mine with a salad base and lot of spicy dressing l! It was fresh, delicious and service and fast and friendly! Also have to thank them as while I was there , my car was hit In the parking lot by a third party food delivery person - I left my information and they called back with the name and company she worked for ( I already had her license plate) so that was very helpful !

Poke bowl but you can't see most of it because I got a lot of furikake

I really like the poke here, they have a lot of topping options and furikake options. The fish tasted fresh and they also had a lot of sauce options. I like mixing their garlic miso and sesame shoyu sauces. One small thing I wished that they did though, is mix the sauce with the meat before putting it in the bowl so it won't just run straight into the rice. The service is quick and it feels pretty clean. Sometimes there is a lot of people but I was always able to find seating.

My go to spot for easy lunches. Poke House has always been fresh and delicious. My tastes have changed over time, so it's a good thing you can completely customize your bowl options. I usually take my bowl to go but dining in is fine too. They have amply seating and a mix of low or high chairs. I usually like to sit outside but the options are lack luster.

I love this place! I come here anytime I'm looking for poke. The service is always quick and easy and I can get my meal within 5 mins. They've also have a very chill vibe and so many toppings!! Definitely recommend to any poke lovers out there.

Good variety of toppings. Staff is friendly. Great ambiance! The spicy tuna with their house sauce is 10/10.

I really enjoyed the amount of toppings and selections of garnishes and sauces that they had. The prices are affordable too! I'm sure that you'll find something that you like there. The fish was fresh to me.

Love this place so much! Taste great, always quick and easy and good service! Only downside is I crave it almost every day! lol

How much is the mochi ice creAm before tax also what is miso soup?

1.50 and miso is fermented soybean paste, it's a gut healthy food and you should definitely try it.

Do they have deserts i want to give them a try but i dont like fish or shrimp?

They have Mochi ice cream and I THINK there were cookies. I definitely wouldn't say this is the place to go for dessert.

It's located inside what I think is a mini golf place (or some kind of entertainment venue haha), and the restaurant itself is hidden behind a bookshelf like a speakeasy. I had never heard of the place before, but I thought the whole concept was SO cool. The omakase itself is incredibly intimate with only a handful of seats, which makes the entire experience feel really personal. Chef and his small team are all so warm and welcoming, and one of my favorite parts was that they actually encourage everyone to get to know each other throughout the meal. It ended up feeling like one big group dinner rather than everyone quietly eating their own meal. My friend and I were even watching the Super Bowl with everyone during our seating, which made the night even more fun! The fish was, of course, phenomenal. Every piece was prepared with so much care and precision, and you could really tell how passionate Chef is about his craft. I'd say the menu falls somewhere in the middle between a super traditional Edomae omakase and a more modern, creative one, which I personally loved. Everything felt incredibly thoughtful without being overly experimental. I also have to give a shoutout to their cocktail program because every drink we had was AMAZING! I don't even think there's a traditional drink menu. Instead, their bartender just asked each of us what kinds of flavors we usually like and created custom cocktails based on our preferences. Every single drink she made for my friends and me was SO good and paired perfectly with the meal. One thing to keep in mind is that each seating is pretty long--we were there for close to three hours! It definitely felt like an experience rather than just dinner, but honestly, the time flew by because everyone was chatting, eating, and having such a great time. It is definitely on the expensive side, but for the quality of the fish, the hospitality, and the overall experience, I thought it was absolutely worth it. One of my favorite little details was that the room is filled with Chef's personal belongings, books, and little collectibles, which makes the space feel so cozy and lived in. He genuinely welcomes guests to ask him about anything in the room, and you can tell he's just such a well-rounded and passionate person. More than anything, this was just such a FUN omakase experience!! If you're looking for something that's intimate, interactive, and a little different from your typical omakase, I can't recommend Toshokan enough!

Tucked away inside a mini golf course and hidden behind a bookshelf, the whole experience has this playful speakeasy energy before you even sit down. Once you step inside, the interior immediately transports you to the late‑night streets of Tokyo--moody lighting, intimate vibes, and that cinematic feeling like something special is about to happen. There are 6 seats. My boyfriend and I had such a fun, personal experience. The staff were incredible--warm, engaging, and genuinely excited to guide us through each course. The food itself was delicious, beautifully crafted, and felt customized in a way that made the night feel unique to us. It's the kind of omakase that doesn't take itself too seriously while still delivering seriously good dishes. I also highly recommend the sake and cocktail pairing. The bartender customizes it based on your preferences. I told her my favorite drink is an espresso martini and she made this really fun espresso, strawberry latte concoction. There is also a special house sake with an homage to the owner's cat. I love those personal details. It's always a great time at Toshokan, and I'll definitely be back again. PS it's a great place to celebrate your birthday or special occasion! They broke out a guitar to serenade me lol

The Robot Ramen was light, yet rich, the meat was succulent (and not too thin, at the risk of being dry) and the noodles were al dente--both were cooked nicely. Really enjoyed the Pom mule drink on happy hour. The cucumber refresher was a little too sweet for me. The spinach dumplings and barbacoa dumplings were both great! Loved the sauces that came with both. Chicken karaage was what you'd expect, would probably try something else next time just to try something new. The hira hira roll was really good! The way they presented the sauces made it slightly hard to dip your roll in it, but would still order again. My friends loved the transformer roll. Yuka-tekkan was a let down for me, just not very flavorful. Overall, would definitely come back for some rolls and the happy hour! There is better sushi on s congress but I still think this is a solid choice. Inside has really cool decor and would be a good place to bring someone to impress a date.

Both of the sandos were perfect. The wagyu beef sando had a little bit more flavor but it was slight and both are worth trying. The service was stellar and they were easy to book on OpenTable I also tried the green tea mocktail and found it to be light and refreshing and I was happy that it wasn't super sweet My two favorite items were: 1. The Edamame - which were charred in a way that I feel like I've never experienced it before and had such great flavor. 2. My favorite maki rolls are the scallop chirashi and the A5, but the scallop maki is the one I crave most--it's so good. Their lychee martini is also delicious and not overly sweet. The Kyoto Blush, on the other hand, was far too sweet for me, so I wouldn't order that one again. I've tried a few other dishes as well. The wagyu sando wasn't quite what I expected, since the meat had more of a patty-like texture that I didn't think paired especially well with the milk bread. The wagyu donburi had a nice layer of crispy rice at the bottom after mixing, but there were too many sour and pickled components, which threw off the balance of the dish a little. Overall, Tenten is a solid spot, especially once you know which menu items you like. Service can be a bit hit or miss, but nothing bad enough to keep me from coming back.
