Came here during lunch time with a group of 8 people. There were only a few other tables sitting yet it took a very long time for us to get our food, and even longer for our drinks. I had to ask for my Coke after I got my food and still had nothing to drink, and it still came out flat. My pizza was cold, but I enjoyed the salad. The full pies came out very warm but the two of us who got slices were still boarderline cold. The lunch special is very well prices and it was nice to leave lunch full having spent about $10. Parking was easy but be sure to go through the full parking validation before leaving the restaurant- I had to scan the code a few times for it to work. read more

I hardly ever give any establishment 5 stars, because there's generally always room for improvement. However, I can't say that this restaurant needs to improve upon anything. I'm staying at a hotel nearby & I called to see if I could place an order to go & they were so kind on the phone & they didn't even ask me to pay for my order before I got there. Later, when I entered the restaurant, the host greeted me with a welcoming smile & they had my order ready. The decor of the restaurant is attractive, with a tin roof with art drawn on it & they have an outdoor dining patio too. I returned to my hotel & gave the front desk staff members a couple of slices of our pepperoni pizza & they loved it. Then, I came back upstairs to my room & my buddy & I devoured the rest of this large pizza. We both loved it & we both lived in NYC for 30 years, so I'd say we know New York style pizza. Since we went on a Wednesday night, there weren't many people there but when someone did come sit at the table next to us, I felt we would touch elbows if we raised our arms. Drinks and apps were half off during happy hour and tasted great. The food overall, could have been seasoned a little more. The spinach and artichoke dip needed salt; the mozzarella sticks were just okay. I really enjoyed the prosciutto pizza. The calamari was good, but felt like it was missing something. Simple: Hire! Came here for a friday night dinner. There was only 2 servers for basically the entire restaurant. The food was great but there was no service really. I had to flag people down for drinks and then I ordered 4 slices of pizza to go. 40 minutes later no pizza. The manager was nice to take them off our ticket and give us a $50 gift card but honestly me wasting 40 minutes of my night after being promised it would come out in 2 minutes is crazy. read more

Me and a friend went to the pizza window to get some slices (approx 7) and 2 salads. A man helped us and took our order. 30 minutes later - nothing. So I ring the doorbell - nothing. I tried to get the man's attention and I'm pretty sure he was ignoring us. Mind you, we were the only ones waiting on the pizza window. 15 minutes later, naturally, I ring the window bell and see a woman come running. She has no clue about our order and isn't finding a record of it. Ironically, the ticket was punched in under HER NAME. 5 minutes later, she finds our order and brings it out. The slices were just thrown in a box piled on top of each other, not heated up, and incorrect and only one salad. After we told her what was incorrect, she brings the box back out - and it is STILL NOT CORRECT. We gave up and took it. $65 for cold, incorrect pizza. The service and operations need an overhaul. Came here with a friend to try out their Happy Hour but the experience was not good. First, there is street parking and garage parking (1st level only) for you to choose from. Also, starting at 5PM they offer valet parking. We were able to find parking easily enough. When I arrived at the restaurant only a handful of customers were there and I was seated immediately as I waited on my guest. I decided to order a wine from the HH and a slice of pizza (meat). The wine came very quickly but the slice did not. After my guest arrived, she ordered her items, and then we waited. 35 minutes go by and still no slice of pizza (even though others were receiving theirs). When I inquired about the pizza, the manager came over and said that it was "lost in transit but will be brought right out." I was also advised that the slice would not be on my ticket (but it was there). My slice came out.. finally! The pizza itself was a Spicy Italian Sausage and it was ok. Definitely not worth the 30+ wait for it. I ordered another wine, a house salad, and make your own pizza (red onions, mushrooms, and sausage). By this time, my guest's pizza had came out and she was enjoying it. When my pizza did come out it was boxed up although we were still seated and eating. We decided to leave since the experience was terrible. In the midst of the server putting my friend's pizza in the box, it splattered all over the table! We ended up having to wait another 30+ mins for another pizza. We paid (left a tips as well) and left. Overall, I wouldn't return here even if it wasn't happy hour. The customer service was bad and food lackluster. The only photo I took, due to frustration, was the to-go box of my pizza.. enjoy! read more

So when the law firm you're visiting for the afternoon somehow doesn't get the message about providing a vegan lunch, this place is a life saver! It was literally out the door & around the corner from me and had vegan cheese as an option. I just wanted something simple so went for red sauce, mixed wild mushrooms and vegan cheese. When you're hungry and tired, even what's already delicious is kicked up x10. There is plenty of seating indoors and outside so I chose to sit outside & enjoy the beautiful day. I often think the Harwood restaurants are little overrated, but Poco Fiasco is far from it! We sat outside in the alley, which I actually think is nicer than the back patio. Our waiter was nice and came out to welcome us before we got drinks. The martini was great, but the build your own option could become spendy fast, just be aware. We got the bread bites (YUM, wish it came with more ricotta), the greek salad, and the Fig & Favor pizza. The only thing I would do next time is try a different salad, but the greek was good, a lot of dressing. We also got the lemon berry cheesecake which was light and the perfect end to the meal. As others have mentioned, service was poor. So poor in fact, that we actually ended up not even eating here. When we arrived the restaurant was moderately busy but there was still many open tables. We were told by the hostess that they are not accepting walk ins. Upon checking their website, we were able to see that a multitude of reservations were available and booked one for approximately 15 minutes later. When we spoke to the hostess we were told this was an "error" and that we would have to wait and see if any other reservations did not show up. Be warned, even if you have a secured reservation, it may be an "error" and prepare accordingly! read more

We started with the garlic knots with ricotta, calamari and the Greek salad. We then had the donkey and the fig pizza all which we're good but nothing to write home about. The service was fine. My problem is I don't understand when there's 3 bartenders and only 6 tables that it takes 30 minutes for our drinks to come out and after our food. There was 3 of us and 2 of the drinks were wrong which took another 10 minutes to make. The blue cheese olives taste store bought. If you pride yourself on martinis at least make a good one. THIS IS FOR BUSINESS PRACTICES. FACT: You can only order to-go food outside, by the well-lit aptly named "Take out" signage. THE PROBLEM: it was low 40s the night i dropped by. In a few months, it will be the upper 110s. ISSUE: i didn't want to wait outside for up to 20 minutes for a pizza. (Inside was packed, so they are really doing well!) No inside seating was available at the time i went, but there was patio seating with heat lamps. THE IRONY: i wasn't going to be able to enjoy the pizza for several hours, due to a prior engagement, but nothing a hot stove couldn't fix in 8 minutes. Perhaps i can try again next year and hope they allow call-in orders. (I tend to not return if my initial experience results in no food.). The waitress i asked about was very polite, so she gets 5 stars! Parking is a challenge; side street parking is all there is, basically. There used to be valet for Harwood Arms down the way, but that has disappeared about 2 months ago. I think I've become a pizza snob, and disappointed i won't be trying this place. But I'm glad other people have had success! Maybe a food truck in the future?? I work in the area, and have been waiting for at least 6 months for them to open.
