    Garlic buttered toasted-Mama's Homemade Bread

Location Uptown Dallas, just off McKinney and Worthington Parking Private lot but is tight-we usually park on the street-nearby garages Atmosphere Authentic Italian kitchen. Inside has many sections-historic building. Seating Large indoor patio-low top tables-great for groups. Service Friendly, attentive, immediate even when it's a big group Menu So many options! Spaghetti bolognese, chicken Parmesan, fettuccine Alfredo-meals come with salad, toasted bread. My picture is just of the bread because it is excellent! Toasted and with buttery garlic infused. So good! Our friends recommend the seafood! Meals come with choice of salad or soup. The salad was a generous spring mix with a tomatoey dressing. Very tasty. We had the chicken Parmesan that was a giant portion! Side if spaghetti that was doused with light olive oil. The chicken was lightly breaded, tender-lean, no fat and covered with a delicious tomato sauce-not too salty or heavy-just right. Summary Love this place-dependable delicious menu-something for everyone! This is the best place for a large group sit down dinner! Great food, outstanding service! See you there!

Cremona deserves a lot more hype than they have!! It's one of the few restaurants in the heart of Uptown that has a designated lot for patrons, and the restaurant itself is spacious. It also has so much character through the decorations. The food is just alright - the portions are very large, so while on the more expensive side, fairly priced. The vodka sauce was just alright. I was charged $4 for adding mushrooms, which felt a little steep. The bruschetta said it would have shredded mozzarella on the menu, but it was topped with heaps of grated parmesan. Service is great, very personable and attentive. I wish I liked the actual pastas a little more, though! If I return, I will see if they have another sauce I'm interested in. I also went once on the weekend and there was live music, which I liked a lot.

Party of six started with the artichoke crème dip. It was tasty, a little thinner than I thought it would be but good. Moving on we had calzones, chicken Marsala, Stromboli and fettuccine. The Stromboli say is has hamburger but it looked and tasted like sausage. The portion size was big and the crust was soft and buttery. The chicken Marsala was flavorful with a very generous portion. The fettuccine was good as well and another big portion. The server was on top of things. The kitchen seemed a little slow. It was a little loud due to the gathering in the back room.

Spaghetti Meat Sauce (Bolognese) too much to finish! Fantastic

Great food ! Wonderful service. The bolognese was outstanding. The atmosphere is always perfect.

By far the best hidden gem in Dallas. Absolutely love their food. Big portions. All made to serve. And the staff is absolutely incredible. Makes you feel like part of their family. Gives compliments. Checks in often. Ambiance is 10/10 with an older man that plays the piano and sings live every now and then. Every table inside has white tablecloths and a rose in the middle. Very romantic. It's truly our favorite spot in Dallas.

We had a nice group of friends for a Friday evening dinner and we were not disappointed for the most part. TBH the food was just ok, being a bit on the basic traditional sense. Apps were decent, but the entrees (particularly the linguini vongole) were sub-par. The special of the night (chicken & eggplant Parmesan) was good, but a little dry and lacked flavor. BUT the experience of the restaurant and staff surpasses the shortcomings of the food. A great time was had by all and I would go back and try other options.

Cremona! Mille grazie!!! This family creates the most authentic Italian food and dining experience in the entire Metroplex... And why not? They've been in business for over thirty years and have been nourishing their loyal customers with Italian food for the body and soul since their doors first opened... The Cremona service is lovingly attended to by a true team of family who make sure "no one leaves hungry!" Prego! Thank you, too, for relocating and rebuilding after the fire that destroyed your original location. Cremona is iconic, and now legendary with an atmosphere not only of Italia, but on display are some of the world's most famous ocean liners of the 20th century... Thank you, Silvia and David... Jesse, Nico, Mark, David, Jr., and Isabella... Love Never Ends...

Went on a Friday Night at 8pm and found we didn't need our reservations as place was empty. Good wine selection & prices, we shared a bottle of Chianti. Good for date night as in Uptown and cozy atmosphere in a converted house. Food was only okay so I was disappointed there. Ravioli appetizers were dry even when using marinara. Chicken Rolatino was good as we hadn't had it before. Really disappointed in the pork chop dish as waiter raved about it. Noodles were plain and pork chop was thin and mostly bone, hard to eat. We won't be going back as too many other Italian places to try, but if you are in the area it's a valid option.

Cremona Bistro Kitchen serves up authentic and delicious Italian food. The staff provides excellent service; I like that a waiter comes around with unlimited slices of perfectly baked bread. The food tastes good and the restaurant provides an inviting atmosphere with plenty of seating. I recommend booking a reservation for weekend nights.

Is this a good spot for a date? Is it too loud to have a conversation (esp w live music)?

Great place for a date. Not loud at all. On Friday they have a keyboardist but not loud.

We recently moved here from California, so every restaurant we try is a first-time experience for us -- and Sean set the bar incredibly high. From the moment we sat down, he ensured that we were taken care of with a level of attentiveness and professionalism that is genuinely rare to find. Sean knows the menu inside and out -- from cocktails to entrées -- and every recommendation he made was spot on. We trusted his guidance completely, and he did not let us down. Despite the restaurant being quite busy, he never missed a beat. He checked on us consistently without ever being intrusive, anticipated our needs before we even voiced them, and made our date night feel truly special. We usually aren't the type to leave reviews, but this one felt absolutely well-deserved. While the entire staff was kind, Sean is absolutely an asset to Pizzana. His knowledge, energy, and impeccable service transformed our first visit into one of the best dining experiences we've had in a long time. He is the kind of server who makes you look forward to returning -- and we definitely will be back because of him. Highly recommend asking for Sean. He is definitely a rockstar.

Our standard order is a large three topping with pepperoni, real Italian sausage and onions. You've got to try onions as that touch of sweet helps with all the savory flavors. We always include a side salad with their homemade blue cheese dressing for a small charge $2.55! You've can also purchase their homemade salad dressings by the pint or quart. The pizza takes a minute to get made so the salad calms our appetite. I swear it's cheaper to get a glass of their house wine than to get a glass of tea so don't hesitate to order. This place is a definite bargain on many items. Now the pizza is just spectacular. The Italian sausage is the real thing that has been sliced from the links not the sausage "turds" you get with fast food pizza. The crust is perfectly yeasty and the thickness on the medium side. They also serve on a rack at the table to keep the crust fresh. Since we order a large it is a knife and fork pizza with the heavy cheese and toppings. Another favorite dish is their lasagna. I've lost count how many times I've ordered at the restaurant and to go. It comes with a choice of salad or minestrone soup. The soup is homemade and simply the best warming dish - a hug in a bowl loaded with veggies. Service is always friendly. The murals of Italian scenes and the wine bottles hanging from the ceiling add a fun touch. Just don't forget to try the pizza and you won't have regrets. Pricey poisoning nightmare!…read more What was supposed to be a fancy celebratory night out ($725 with tip) at Drake's for my MIL's birthday ended with one of our family members in the ER and another 2 attached to the toilet (including my 72 MIL). This was roughly 6 hours after consuming seafood from this establishment. The frustrating part is we actually sent one of the 2 dishes back reporting to staff it had a strange odor/taste and was told we weren't familiar with lobster taste (being from NY this is untrue). My MIL was too embarrassed to send hers back so she ate her entire plate and my husband had about 1/4 of his before exchanging it for an alternate dish. As an emergency service provider I fully understand medical incidents like this can happen anywhere, but what prompted this review was way the situation was handled following my reporting. After reporting the incident to management we were met with what felt like an aggressive line of questioning about the members of our medical team and related details. I was told the incident would be escalated to upper management and the team would reach back out, but this never happened, even after a follow-up email. So, it's safe to say after spending a significant amount of money on what was supposed to be a special evening, the entire experience left a very bad taste in our mouths. At the very least, I would have expected some sort of gesture of goodwill or attempt to make the situation right -- even something as simple as a gift card or invitation to return for a better experience. Unfortunately, that never happened. Based on this experience, I would not choose to return and cannot recommend Drake's to others.
