    Garlic buttered toasted-Mama's Homemade Bread

Location Uptown Dallas, just off McKinney and Worthington Parking Private lot but is tight-we usually park on the street-nearby garages Atmosphere Authentic Italian kitchen. Inside has many sections-historic building. Seating Large indoor patio-low top tables-great for groups. Service Friendly, attentive, immediate even when it's a big group Menu So many options! Spaghetti bolognese, chicken Parmesan, fettuccine Alfredo-meals come with salad, toasted bread. My picture is just of the bread because it is excellent! Toasted and with buttery garlic infused. So good! Our friends recommend the seafood! Meals come with choice of salad or soup. The salad was a generous spring mix with a tomatoey dressing. Very tasty. We had the chicken Parmesan that was a giant portion! Side if spaghetti that was doused with light olive oil. The chicken was lightly breaded, tender-lean, no fat and covered with a delicious tomato sauce-not too salty or heavy-just right. Summary Love this place-dependable delicious menu-something for everyone! This is the best place for a large group sit down dinner! Great food, outstanding service! See you there!

Cremona deserves a lot more hype than they have!! It's one of the few restaurants in the heart of Uptown that has a designated lot for patrons, and the restaurant itself is spacious. It also has so much character through the decorations. The food is just alright - the portions are very large, so while on the more expensive side, fairly priced. The vodka sauce was just alright. I was charged $4 for adding mushrooms, which felt a little steep. The bruschetta said it would have shredded mozzarella on the menu, but it was topped with heaps of grated parmesan. Service is great, very personable and attentive. I wish I liked the actual pastas a little more, though! If I return, I will see if they have another sauce I'm interested in. I also went once on the weekend and there was live music, which I liked a lot.

Party of six started with the artichoke crème dip. It was tasty, a little thinner than I thought it would be but good. Moving on we had calzones, chicken Marsala, Stromboli and fettuccine. The Stromboli say is has hamburger but it looked and tasted like sausage. The portion size was big and the crust was soft and buttery. The chicken Marsala was flavorful with a very generous portion. The fettuccine was good as well and another big portion. The server was on top of things. The kitchen seemed a little slow. It was a little loud due to the gathering in the back room.

By far the best hidden gem in Dallas. Absolutely love their food. Big portions. All made to serve. And the staff is absolutely incredible. Makes you feel like part of their family. Gives compliments. Checks in often. Ambiance is 10/10 with an older man that plays the piano and sings live every now and then. Every table inside has white tablecloths and a rose in the middle. Very romantic. It's truly our favorite spot in Dallas.

Spaghetti Meat Sauce (Bolognese) too much to finish! Fantastic

Great food ! Wonderful service. The bolognese was outstanding. The atmosphere is always perfect.

We had a nice group of friends for a Friday evening dinner and we were not disappointed for the most part. TBH the food was just ok, being a bit on the basic traditional sense. Apps were decent, but the entrees (particularly the linguini vongole) were sub-par. The special of the night (chicken & eggplant Parmesan) was good, but a little dry and lacked flavor. BUT the experience of the restaurant and staff surpasses the shortcomings of the food. A great time was had by all and I would go back and try other options.

Cremona! Mille grazie!!! This family creates the most authentic Italian food and dining experience in the entire Metroplex... And why not? They've been in business for over thirty years and have been nourishing their loyal customers with Italian food for the body and soul since their doors first opened... The Cremona service is lovingly attended to by a true team of family who make sure "no one leaves hungry!" Prego! Thank you, too, for relocating and rebuilding after the fire that destroyed your original location. Cremona is iconic, and now legendary with an atmosphere not only of Italia, but on display are some of the world's most famous ocean liners of the 20th century... Thank you, Silvia and David... Jesse, Nico, Mark, David, Jr., and Isabella... Love Never Ends...

Went on a Friday Night at 8pm and found we didn't need our reservations as place was empty. Good wine selection & prices, we shared a bottle of Chianti. Good for date night as in Uptown and cozy atmosphere in a converted house. Food was only okay so I was disappointed there. Ravioli appetizers were dry even when using marinara. Chicken Rolatino was good as we hadn't had it before. Really disappointed in the pork chop dish as waiter raved about it. Noodles were plain and pork chop was thin and mostly bone, hard to eat. We won't be going back as too many other Italian places to try, but if you are in the area it's a valid option.

Cremona Bistro Kitchen serves up authentic and delicious Italian food. The staff provides excellent service; I like that a waiter comes around with unlimited slices of perfectly baked bread. The food tastes good and the restaurant provides an inviting atmosphere with plenty of seating. I recommend booking a reservation for weekend nights.

Is this a good spot for a date? Is it too loud to have a conversation (esp w live music)?

Great place for a date. Not loud at all. On Friday they have a keyboardist but not loud.

I was the first one there and saw the birthday girl/family pulling up as we walked in. We checked in and asked if there was a seating policy for reservations (which we had and were on time for) and the hostess said "as long as you have 6 people from your group we can get you seated." The birthday family arrived with their 4 and two more of our group came in 30 seconds after that. We watched as several other big parties who mentioned their remaining people were in the restroom or coming got seated before us. We asked second hostess if we could be seated soon since we had 8 of 10 people and she said they only seat full parties and we had been waiting 15 mins with our 8 by then in the small entrance. That was new news. She said she'd get the manager to see if it was okay and he informed us that they seat full parties for a better experience, but we were a bit disappointed at that point because we were told different on the phone and in person at that point. We finally got seated and our last two did come very late, admittedly, but we still had a good experience with the food and drinks. The salad and meatball appetizers were both tasty. The meatballs were very flavorful and they replenished both appetizers when asked. They had several interesting flavors to try including pizzas with goat cheese, buffalo chicken pizza, white pizza etc. I tried almost everything and was impressed with the flavors. The white pizza was surprisingly spicy to be scallion based, but I really enjoyed it! We also all saved space to try to desert pizzas and the dule de leche was a favorite amongst our group. Most of the table order wine or cocktails and they were all highly favored. The passion fruit margarita was pretty good. We did have to wait a little while occasionally for water refills, but our servers were still doing a good job with how packed it was in there. The parking wasn't terrible - it's a decent sized lot for the area, but I think luck plays a roll in if you're able to park easily or have to wait a bit for a spot. All in all, we had a good foodie experience here will make sure the whole party is present before returning!

Our standard order is a large three topping with pepperoni, real Italian sausage and onions. You've got to try onions as that touch of sweet helps with all the savory flavors. We always include a side salad with their homemade blue cheese dressing for a small charge $2.55! You've can also purchase their homemade salad dressings by the pint or quart. The pizza takes a minute to get made so the salad calms our appetite. I swear it's cheaper to get a glass of their house wine than to get a glass of tea so don't hesitate to order. This place is a definite bargain on many items. Now the pizza is just spectacular. The Italian sausage is the real thing that has been sliced from the links not the sausage "turds" you get with fast food pizza. The crust is perfectly yeasty and the thickness on the medium side. They also serve on a rack at the table to keep the crust fresh. Since we order a large it is a knife and fork pizza with the heavy cheese and toppings. Another favorite dish is their lasagna. I've lost count how many times I've ordered at the restaurant and to go. It comes with a choice of salad or minestrone soup. The soup is homemade and simply the best warming dish - a hug in a bowl loaded with veggies. Service is always friendly. The murals of Italian scenes and the wine bottles hanging from the ceiling add a fun touch. Just don't forget to try the pizza and you won't have regrets. All of them were solid and flavorful choices. The food came out quickly, the restaurant was clean, and the service was great. Our server, Emma, took excellent care of us and explained their authentic pizza style: a thin, crunchy crust with a perfectly chewy inside. I'm giving this a solid 4 stars instead of 5 simply because while everything was very good, nothing quite wowed me enough to push it into "must-have, can't-stop-thinking-about-it" territory. We were told we had to place our entire order at once, and despite our reservation noting that we were celebrating a birthday, he never acknowledged it or even asked if we were celebrating a special occasion. When we mentioned it ourselves, he didn't respond at all. While returning from the restroom (which was also uncomfortably hot and stuffy), I spoke with the manager, Jason, about our experience and asked if we could switch servers. Thankfully, Vlad, who had been serving nearby tables, took over our table. He was a complete turnaround. Vlad was personable, energetic, attentive, and provided the level of hospitality we expected. He truly saved what he could of the experience. Our group spent over $750 on food and drinks. The appetizers and sides were excellent and easily the highlight of the meal. Unfortunately, the entrees didn't live up to the same standard. One steak was overcooked and had to be sent back. By the time the replacement arrived, everyone else had already finished eating. The Salmon Diane was also dry and overcooked. To end the night, while we were waiting for our checks to be processed, Jason came over and told us the next reservation had arrived and that we needed to leave. We explained that we were simply waiting to pay, yet no effort was made to speed up the process by collecting our payment or offering to run the checks. It felt rushed and incredibly inhospitable, especially after everything that had already gone wrong. The only reasons this review isn't one star are Vlad and the excellent appetizers and sides. We've dined at many high-end restaurants, and this was by far one of the most disappointing service experiences we've had, especially for a special celebration. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.
