I called them to have a service performed. At the time of my call they were not sure if they could provide the type of service I needed. The lady on the phone indicated that she would run the problem past her manager. To my surprise she called back with a very prescriptive suggestion about how I might run a test on my own. Plotke Plumbing is great and I highly recommend them. I had a leak in the supply line from the wall to the toilet. Enough water dripping that I had to turn the water off to my condo. They were able to come out the same day at a time that was convenient for me. A very nice and professional plumber, Robbie, arrived and immediately assessed my situation. He offered repair options to try and save me money or replacement options. Not many companies would do that! Since my condo was built in the '70s, I chose the replacement option. He finished the work in record time and cleaned up so you couldn't even tell he had been there (except there was no longer a leak!). Their pricing is extremely reasonable. Very impressed with this company. They will be the only plumbing company I use in the future, guaranteed. Put in gas line from garage to backyard bbq. Thought it was a good job. Started smelling gas. Called and they sent someone out. He said there was no gas leak. Sent bill which should not have been sent. They said they would remove it. Gas smell continued for weeks. Finally called SDGE. They found the leak Plotke caused when installing the line. SDGE has turned off our gas and won't turn it on until the leak is repaired. Plotke emergency line doesn't return our calls. Called SDGE and they said call another plumber. They said I shouldn't wait until Monday and that if a plumber can't detect a gas leak I should be concerned about using them. I am very upset read more

Talked a good game but caused me grief and money. They did not follow up on their service and did not return calls over my concerns. STAY AWAY. If I could give them 0 stars I would have. Plotke sucked and they do not provide their physical address - only a PO Box. Had a problem with our tankless hot water heater. First appointment was between 8-10 and at 10:30 they called to say they'll be there at noon. Had to reschedule. The following week they came at the arranged time. Flushed the unit and said it wasn't working because of water filter on the shower head. So I still have a unit that doesn't work well and a bill. Called back to have them come back out and the lady on the phone was so rude I decided to go somewhere else. Maybe tankless water heaters aren't their thing and they just didn't want to deal with it. read more
