After explaining his services in detail and providing an estimate on the spot we chose to go with Dr. Piper because: 1) We wanted copper, and he uses only the thicker type-L copper, not the thin cheap type-M copper you get at the big box stores. 2) He is the only plumber we found that patches their own drywall holes and textures them (quite flawlessly I might add - even the popcorn ceiling) 3) The expansion tank that others didn't even mention or want to charge extra for was included in the price. 4) Everything is installed per current plumbing code and he gets all required city inspections along the way.
