Cody Clark, owner, came to our house to give us a quote on cool deck removal and install new cool deck. He sounded like he knew what he was doing and made all of these promises of what would be done, when and how long it would take. The crew didn't show up when they were supposed to, when they ground off the old cool deck they broke my deck drain and ground it in several places. Cody never mentioned that the deck drain should be replaced when he bid the cool deck. When I sent Cody pictures of the damage he said the deck drain wasn't included in the bid. He came out to look at it and said it needed to be replaced. He also said he would dig a drywall and fill it with river rock. It wasn't done, I had to do it myself. If you're going to do business with Cody Clark and Platinum Pool Care make sure you get everything in writing and be VERY SPECIFIC! We just completed a round of work/repairs to our pool waterfall and cool deck with no complaints except the sealer on the waterfall shows through the coloring in the low light times of day, morning and late afternoon. I have a request in for the coloring person to return and try to make it less obvious. Very unprofessional company. You have to constantly be calling them to find out what is happening. They would come, spend a day, then disappear without a word for a day. One day only one guy showed up for 1/2 an hour then left and took tools with him. NO communication at all. They dumped a ton of stuff down our drains and swore it wouldn't cause any problems, but we've had lots of problems since they left. They are not concerned with customer service at all. No one on the tile crew spoke English well enough to communicate with us,or address our concerns. We paid for some things to be done that never did get done, but they got their money so that's all they cared about. Don't use this company if you want the job done well. The process started out really well. Adam was helpful everything seem to line up with what we wanted. The workers left trash everywhere and after the work was mostly done they demanded the full payment. There is still leftover sand that they said would be removed once it was dried and the old sand filter is still in my yard. They told me after the fact that the pop-ups didn't work. They work just fine once I cleaned out the debris from their chip out. They won't assist in putting them back in and I don't have popup tool. Adam has stopped responding to my calls and text. I am super grateful that I didn't sign up for the monthly maintenance. They almost had a good review, but they left the job unfinished. read more

I called Platinum pool care because i had diatomaceous earth coming back in the pool after back washing it, thought i had a tear in the grids, so adam came out and said he can not even get the grids anymore and tried to talk me into a new cartrage filter for $1400, I told him i would talk to the wife, and checked online and found the grids, i got 8 of them for $147 and a different pool company is coming out to put them in for $ 80 use at your own risk. read more

I just had to pay another company a couple hundred dollars to take care of the algae in my pool since Platinum pool care claims they service my pool, but all they really do is show up for 1 minute, dump a few chemicals in my pool and leave a paper receipt (they didn't know we were spying). And how convenient that they just started emailing the "receipts" so that they don't even have to show up! They're prompt about sending invoices though, but do they deserve to get paid for doing NOTHING... or should I say for RUINING my pool! Watch out!
