After hiring another pool remodel company, I fired them after three no shows for starting the project. I found Gilbert Pool Remodeling and left a message; I had a return call within the hour by Jake the owner. I describe the project and we set an onsite visit the same day. I wanted a full remodel, Deck, Pebble Tec, and Tile. Jake explained the process and gave me a competitive quote. This was on Wednesday, he started the project on Friday, two days later. The job was completed in less than nine days. He kept every promise and did a fantastic job. His crews were professional, courteous, very knowledgeable and cleaned up after each day of work. I can't say how impressed I was by his team. This is the way you always dream of a project to go, but there are always problems and delays. There were none of these, it went above all my expectations. If you are looking for a pool remodel you should look no further. I highly recommend Gilbert Pool Remodeling; Jake will not let you down. read more

Please, for the sake of your pool and general sanity, do not trust them with the care of your pool. I'm attaching pictures for reference, but these are pictures taken the day of, or the day or two after a cleaning service. They also failed to properly backwash the pool multiple times and just pushed all the water/dirt into the street. I am also attaching pictures of the chemical staining that was caused in our pool because they failed to properly regulate the chemicals. We just had our pool resurfaced in January, so it's been very disappointing/expensive to have to deal with this issue. Jake (owner) consistently talked down to my husband and I when we brought these issues forward. He refused to take any responsibility, even though he had been the only company to service the pool since October. He initially blamed us for the chemical issues, and when we informed him that we never added anything because we had trusted his company to take care of things, he went so far as to ask us if we have a security camera in our backyard so he could verify that. Extremely unacceptable and insulting to treat customers who just spent $15,000 with your company to have your pool resurfaced. He then blamed the water, even though all of Gilbert has the same water, so they should already know how to work with it. We have not used our pool for a month now, because they fumbled around to try a chemical treatment, which, of course, didn't work. We are now having to have the pool completely drained and acid washed in hopes of getting most of the staining off, with a new company. We also found out that there has been a stopper in our main skimmer that was preventing it from working 100%, there are two pieces missing from our pool vac, as well as the hose they installed with the vacuum being too short to completely clean the pool. Overall a terrible experience. If i could give a zero, I would. read more

This company is the best! I contacted Jake regarding a leak I had in my Pentair Cartridge filter. He quickly contacted me back to get an appointment set up with Leland. Leland actually contacted me that night stating that he would be at my house the next morning to fix the leak. Leland showed up at 9:00 and replaced the drain plug. It was under warranty and he didn't even charge a service fee. Leland was professional and very quick to resolve the issue. I will definitely use them again and I highly recommend Gilbert Pool Remodeling to all. Thank you Jake and Leland for your help! --Jeff Filloon read more

Jake and his team are absolute PROS. I had some unfortunate cracking and decay on our older style pebble pool that Jake felt we could fix and patch up but gave me the trust and confidence to just redo the whole pool. Our only caveat was timing and other vendors working in the same area... in which he shined above all. He was accommodating, extremely helpful, knowledgeable, kind and most of all a man of his word. The end result, well we wanted our pool before the 4th of July and he delivered in record time. To say that we couldn't recommend Gilbert Pool Remodeling enough would be an understatement. This thing is an absolute backyard centerpiece and we couldn't be happier!! read more

I purchased my home in June 2024 and the pool was abandoned. It was disgusting, dark green and damn near a biohazard lol. Jake and his team were able to resuscitate the pool from the dead and ever since then we have been enjoying our clean sparkly blue pool. All other companies I reached out to were no help and extremely overpriced. Jake gave me a great price to get this pool and equipment back on its feet, and his weekly service assured my pool stayed in good standing. I had Gilbert Pool Remodeling come out to my home to fix a huge problem after having a new Pentair light put in by another pool company. Their bad wiring left my pump burnt out. Jake called me the same day to discuss coming out and diagnosing the problem. He came up with a few things we could do. Hector came out and checked all of the pool electrical wiring all the way to the breaker box to make sure they knew what the problem was. We ended up having to do a new pump and some new switches. Hector did a wonderful job and is a very polite and hardworking young man. I am very satisfied with the outcome and will definitely use them again for my pool needs.Wonderful 5star service. read more
