    I apologize in advance for the lengthy review . (Left review…read moreon Google also) I stopped by this store on Sunday, March 18th to purchase a few items for my pool (I'm a 1st time pool owner). As I tried to enter the store, I noticed a sign stating that the employees would be back in 10 min, which struck me as odd since it was during posted business hours. I than noticed a middle age woman puffing away on a cancer stick and yapping away on her cell phone. Come to find out, she is the employee! I sat in my car to kill a few minutes. Finally she is done with her personal business on work time and returns to the store. As I enter the store, Mrs Personality or Mrs Friendly looked up than continued about her business .I don't expect much, but a simple smile or a quick hello would suffice .Yet I received neither. I approached her to ask a question about basic pool care (remember, I'm a 1st time owner) and decided to Google it because she clearly did not want to be here and seemed annoyed that I was going to spend my money in the store she works for and interrupt her. I took note of her name, and I decided to go elsewhere to shop. Dawn, the employee at the Leslie's location was the ONE and ONLY reason I drove 10+ miles one way, out of my way to visit POOLWERX to make my purchase and ask a few basic questions. I live a stone's throw away from this Leslie's location. Come Monday, March 19th I needed to pickup an Auto Fill Valve and decided to swing by Leslie's, because it's convenient. Today was a completely different experience vs what I witnessed on Sunday .A young man was working alone, he must have been a newer employee as he did not have a Leslie's logo on his shirt but he did have a name tag. This gentleman's name was Mike. He was at the register with aboanot customer when I entered the store, yet he made eye contact and smiled before letting me know he'd be with me in just a moment. I looked for the float valve, but had no clue what I was looking for, so I just browsed killing a minute or two. I over heard the employee offer to help an older gentleman carry his purchase to the car, it was a large bucket of chlorine tablets. The customer was appreciative of this. Bear in mind, the employee offered to take out to the vehicle. He was not asked by the customer to do so. The employee hurried back inside the store and immediately approached me to welcome me. Mike than proceeded to ask me questions to determine if the product I asked for was indeed what I needed. He was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Mike is the complete opposite of his co-worker Dawn, and he is the only reason I will continue to shop here. I will not spend a dime in your store if Dawn is the only option for assistance, as she clearly does not care about customer service or providing a positive experience. I mentioned the prior days poor experience to Mike and he seemed genuinely concerned about the incident and apologized profusely for something he has no control over. Mike said Leslie's strives to offer the absolute best service to each and every customer, each and every time. He handed me a "water test bottle" and $199 value deal brochure with my receipt, and explained the benefits of each. Mike shook my hand and thanked me for my business, and said don't hesitate to call with any questions and he hopes to be my one stop shop for anything pool related. I sincerely hope Leslie's upper management is made aware of the way Dawn treats customers. Mike is a rockstar employee and a stellar example of going above and beyond to provide a truly wonderful shopping experience. Even though Mike may be new (making assumption based on fact he was not wearing a Leslie's polo) he was confident and comfortable, spoke highly of the company, and the reason I rated at 5 stars versus 1 star (only because I can't do negative stars) of my trip here dealing with Mrs Grumpy. I highly recommend this location, although I would turn around and high tail it out of there if Dawn is the only one working (middle aged woman) and experience A+ service if Mike (young man) is there.

    Called Shawn in late October to see if his company can replace a pentair board. When he answered…read more"yeah" annoyingly, I asked if this was the pool company. His response was yeah. Okay great start. I then explained my issue and he then said, text me your number, I'm busy, I'll call you back. I did and nothing. I waited two weeks, (we are now in Nov) and called again. After the same intro, I let him know it's the guy with the pentair board. He then said, I told you I would call you back. I thought two weeks was a good enough time for him to call me. I guess not. My bad for not waiting longer. He then said to call him at a specific time-3 days later. I did and he confirmed a date in December-weeks away. I called him the day before the appointment and he said he has Covid and can't come out. (Sorry to hear but glad I called since he wasn't coming and he had no intentions of telling me). He then told me on the call, he gave my number to someone else, and I should call this new person who can help me. I called, left a message, nothing. I waited a week, called and nothing. We are now in Feb. I've called twice and still nothing. I don't understand this guy or his company. My advice is unless you have something crazy specific that I need, skip and go find someone that is friendly, responsive, and appreciates business. What I have learned is these types of companies were doing so well during Covid and they had more customers than they can handle. Now that things are drying up, these companies will be the ones leaving business cards on doors or calling clients they haven't seen in years. Be careful buying anything or using this company as a contractor. If the owner is reading this, it's mark. I'll be leaving reviews on every site I am able to. If one person reads this and goes to next company, I helped! Response to management's response: You never said you are done with it. You said my friend can help you while you are out, He will be giving you a call. Just own you didn't handle this well instead of only quickly responding after a review is done. You have been leading me on for months, didn't come through for the first 2 months, only to forget to let me know you weren't coming as planned and then pawned me off on someone that has worse customer service than you. You clearly responded re the latter part of my review. Assuming everything is accurate as there is no counter to your poor service for the first 2 months.
