I found Gilbert Pool Remodeling and left a message; I had a return call within the hour by Jake the owner. I describe the project and we set an onsite visit the same day. I wanted a full remodel, Deck, Pebble Tec, and Tile. Jake explained the process and gave me a competitive quote. This was on Wednesday, he started the project on Friday, two days later. The job was completed in less than nine days. He kept every promise and did a fantastic job. His crews were professional, courteous, very knowledgeable and cleaned up after each day of work. I can't say how impressed I was by his team. This is the way you always dream of a project to go, but there are always problems and delays. There were none of these, it went above all my expectations. If you are looking for a pool remodel you should look no further. I highly recommend Gilbert Pool Remodeling; Jake will not let you down.

They also failed to properly backwash the pool multiple times and just pushed all the water/dirt into the street. I am also attaching pictures of the chemical staining that was caused in our pool because they failed to properly regulate the chemicals. We just had our pool resurfaced in January, so it's been very disappointing/expensive to have to deal with this issue. Jake (owner) consistently talked down to my husband and I when we brought these issues forward. He refused to take any responsibility, even though he had been the only company to service the pool since October. He initially blamed us for the chemical issues, and when we informed him that we never added anything because we had trusted his company to take care of things, he went so far as to ask us if we have a security camera in our backyard so he could verify that. Extremely unacceptable and insulting to treat customers who just spent $15,000 with your company to have your pool resurfaced. He then blamed the water, even though all of Gilbert has the same water, so they should already know how to work with it. We have not used our pool for a month now, because they fumbled around to try a chemical treatment, which, of course, didn't work. We are now having to have the pool completely drained and acid washed in hopes of getting most of the staining off, with a new company. We also found out that there has been a stopper in our main skimmer that was preventing it from working 100%, there are two pieces missing from our pool vac, as well as the hose they installed with the vacuum being too short to completely clean the pool. After doing some research and suspecting either low water flow or calcium buildup, I decided to go with Precision Pool Tech because they offered a lower service call price than the other companies that responded. I spent about 20 minutes on the phone with him and he was very nice and commented several times about how unprofessional it was of the other company and said they don't treat people that way. He asked me to text him our address and email and he'd send us info on his company, and we made an appointment for him and some of his crew to come by that Monday. I never got an email but ok. I also never heard from him Monday so I text him and he replied right away. Monday his team showed up, and between us speaking with them in our living room, our back yard, and they had us follow them over to another property to see the in-process work of one of their jobs. All told we spent about 2 hours with them, and they said they'd have plans to us between 7-10 days. Several times throughout the meeting they kept talking themselves up about how committed they are to delivering on time, how they won't treat us they way the other guy did, yada yada yada. 10 days came and went, nothing. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and said maybe they meant business days. 3 weeks...nothing. 4 weeks...nothing. Finally on the 31st calendar day I texted him saying it had been a month since our meeting. No reply, no call back, just an utter waste of time, and even more so than the first company.
