I recently tried to heat my pool and kept getting a loud banging noise from the heater before it shut itself off. I was worried it was going to be an expensive repair, especially since the heater is only two years old. After doing some research and suspecting either low water flow or calcium buildup, I decided to go with Precision Pool Tech because they offered a lower service call price than the other companies that responded. I'm glad I chose them! It turned out the problem was simply a handle I didn't realize needed to be turned to allow proper water flow through the pipes. Although I was a little frustrated that I hadn't known this sooner, the technician was great. He checked the calcium levels, made sure everything else was running properly, and took the time to explain what he was doing. I will be posting pictures soon. Mike and Fred are a pair of clowns. Once you sign the contract (read contract first, I didn't and you have to pay 90% after demo and then 10% after completion) i think that is ridiculous. My experience was not good, neither one of these guys came by the job to check on the none employees they pay to work on my pool. I speak Spanish and went back there to shoot the shit. They told me they get paid by their buddy that gets paid per job. That it is not a company. I was so mad at this because if someone gets hurt, the homeowner can be sued. I just figured that they were almost done and that will be the end. The one guy that worked alone doing the tiles left sharp edges on the corner, a couple of tiles that were really off color(Fred told me tiles colors are not exactly the same and he will not change it out), they didn't put bullnose tiles in(multiple pool companies said it is automatic on pool edge, I most likely won't win that battle but just to let you know their standards/quality) and the cool deck has a tape line across the edge. I've continuously asked them to come out to walk it and Fred has pushed me off since 6/25/25 (it is now 10/20/25) Fred said all he can offer is $500 off and he can drop off some touch up paint. I told him We will have to go through the ROC or he will have to finish the job with legal employees covered by workmen comp(ask for affidavit of employment and what companies you can also contact insurance which I will be doing ) I owe him $2,100 and he then said he will now take off 50% and warned l me to take it or I will end up paying all of it. I want what I paid for! Professional job!!! We will go through the ROC and I will post the outcome. I would rather pay the full amount and get what I paid for. read more

I hired Precision Pools to redo my pool which was in need of a renovation, plus we needed to update the equipment. There were red flags from the beginning. First was the fact that they prepped the pool for application of new pebble tech in June (2024) and then did not get around to applying it for several weeks. Second, during the initial prep for the pool they managed to get old pebble and other debris in the plumbing lines. Third, they applied pebble on the curve of my pool (where water does not reach) and as a result the pebble started chipping. Fourth, I wanted a pool rail and the rail and the installation did not meet code. At first, they were responsive to the these various issues, and eventually flushed the water pipes, but due to the chipping pebble it was an ongoing problem....and I still had debris in my pool from the chipping pool. In addition, the workers that were here were totally unsupervised (that is probably why the rail installation did not meet code). Finally, when I tried to contact Mike about resolving these issues he was initially responsive but could not manage to resolve the problems, then he blocked my number. So yes, initially they were responsive and tried to correct the issues for this pool renovation, but then nothing. In short, Mike was pleasant as was Fred.....but the pool continued to be a problem. I would never recommend this business to anyone. Poor quality of service and poor value. Note: I eventually fixed everything by hiring another company to redo the pool (removal of pebble and then reapplication). I did not appreciate having to hire someone else, but it became clear to me that precision pools was not going to resolve the issues so I started over. read more

Michael and his business partner Fred are trying to scam me out of $2965.00 , $1970 for tile that was not installed properly plus $995 for Maintaining and adjusting water chemistry for 30 days. I went into contract with precision pool techs to replace my existing waterline tile, Install new pebble, remove existing cool deck, repair concrete and apply new cool deck surface and texture. All crews that came by for chip-out, tile and pebble are not part of precision pool techs, they are subcontracted out, most of them don't speak English and are not supervised at all, not once did any of the precision pool tech gusy come check on any of the crews. 2 guys were sent to my house to do the tile after chip out was done, Both of them spoke 0 English, few days after they were completed with tile I noticed that the coping Joint was not silicone like it was proposed by Mike, the coping was grouted around the whole perimeter of the pool, Michael was the one that told me before we signed the contract that they will do silicone coping to keep the warranty and that if we do grout it will start cracking after a few years and start falling out and it's best to use silicone. I contacted Mike right away after I noticed the coping was grouted and not siliconed, Mike had told me that he's not sure why the tile guys did it this way and that they ran into the same issue recently with few other of their customers with this tile crew they used. Mike had assured me that after the pool is filled and we do startup that next week Monday they will have the crew start on the cool deck and when the new filled pool is covered by the cool deck guys the Tile guys will be able to chip out the grout and install silicone. Monday December 18th no one showed up to do the work, I took the day off to make sure the job gets done correctly since there is no supervision of these contractors they hire. I contacted Mike around 1pm, he said that someone came by to look at the job and will be back tomorrow (Tuesday) between 11 and 2 pm to do the cool deck and Wednesday the tile guys will come by to fix the tile. Tuesday December 19th I took a half day to meet with the contractors. 12 30 pm I reached out to Mike and asked what time the guys will be there, he texted me and said the crew is running behind and is on the way, 5 minutes after the text I get a call from Mike stating that they are no longer on the way because the tile guys need the pool drained in order to do the work and we need to wait 28 days for the pebble to cure or they can just give me a $250 refund. At this point I got upset and told Mike that I need to get this cool deck finished up ASAP due to family visiting for Holidays and the plan was to have everything completed before they come, I had mentioned that they are already way behind schedule, the job was started on November 27th and was supposed to be completed in 2 weeks and we were already almost 3 weeks into is, Mike right away said since I don't like the options he thinks it's best we cancel the contract and move on, I told him that is not a option, I need the cool deck finished and we can figure out the tile later, he told me he would get back to me in 10 minutes. 20 minutes went by and he never called back, I called and spoke with his secretary and mentioned the whole issue I was having with him and mentioned if this does not get resolved I will need to seek legal advise. I also texted Mike several time and told him that I need the deck finished before Friday and that we can figure out the tile issue later. Mike never bothered to call me back, he texted me 2 hours later saying " We will get back to you by the end of the day and we will let you know how we decide to move forward" 5pm came around and I still have not heard anything from them, at 620pm I texted Mike, at 629pm I get a email from Mike that they are willing to up the $250 refund to $350 and that at this point they don't think the business relationship is repairable and they have decided to cancel my Contract.. The $350 will not cover the tile, removal and redoing it, The drain and fill of the pool, and now that the contract is cancelled they will not do the $935.00 pool maintenance, my 7 year pebble warranty is now voided as well. This decision is complete theft and dishonesty. Bottom line is Michael Kevin Klistoff and Fred Sies Visser Jr are crooks, they got paid and they think it's easier to cancel the Contract and move on then to finish the job and correct the issue that they created. read more
