They would always do an amazing job when they are doing your pool themselves. When we started with them they even allowed me to use their pump at no cost to pump the water out of the pool. So generous. However over the last year or so they have, what I believe, gotten so busy that they have had to hire new people or contract out to other pool cleaners. I think this was due to the owners amazing work ethic. However as that change happened the service and cleanliness of my pool declined. Over that time I have had to maintain my pool more than when the owners were taking care of my pool. I had to fix a mold problem myself when one of their fill ins wasn't taking care of it. I have had to also get in the pool myself and clean the drain of things that should have been taken care of. Also I assume one of the randoms that cleaned the pool messed with the valves and it wasn't working very well. I got it back to perfect now and its cleaning perfectly. Maybe my lack of communication with them led to us having to part ways due to these issues and one other, but if a company hires someone to do a job the owners were doing before make sure they are trained well and can pay attention to detail. I would highly highly recommend them to anyone if the owners will be the ones cleaning your pool. However if you can't get them to do it themselves, sadly I can't recommend them unless more training for their employees can happen.

They make you sign a contract which I don't have a problem with and then they tell you that they want to take every single holiday off etc... Which is absolutely ridiculous because the people with pools we typically use the pool for family gatherings etc. during the warm holiday seasons. My main problem with them is that when my filter broke he acted like he didn't know what happened and then told me that I needed to hire someone else to fix it! Leaving me on my own and even more money to spend! . The next two service treatments they left lots of dirt and grid in the pool and didn't even take the time to fish out the debris in the shallow end! Very lazy in my opinion Even after I asked him to remedy the dirty leaves at the bottom of the pool since I was paying them $115 per month! So I went and head and told him that I no longer need his services. When I hired my new pool guy he was very certain that these guys broke my manifold and gasket for my filter he said it had to of been someone pushing it down really hard. So that just goes to show that they're not honest and they do not take care of their clients! Run don't walk away from these people! From now on I'm only getting word of mouth referrals from my friends and neighbors not some phone number off of a truck that I see ! Update! After doing some research and suspecting either low water flow or calcium buildup, I decided to go with Precision Pool Tech because they offered a lower service call price than the other companies that responded. I'm glad I chose them! It turned out the problem was simply a handle I didn't realize needed to be turned to allow proper water flow through the pipes. Although I was a little frustrated that I hadn't known this sooner, the technician was great. He checked the calcium levels, made sure everything else was running properly, and took the time to explain what he was doing. Very knowledgeable and professional--overall a positive experience.

They stop by for a minute, throw in some chlorine and, when it starts to get hot, they "shock" the pool when it begins to turn green... They say the AZ heat is just brutal, and that shocking a pool is normal.  Fortunately, when I decided to purchase a new pool motor, I hired Big Family Pools. Dean gave me some options and was VERY helpful in the process. His honest, straight forward answers were greatly appreciated. I also learned that the pool cleaner that I was using was not the optimal cleaner for the type of pool we have. Less than a year before I hired Big Family Pools to service my pool each week, we had completed a complete remodel of the pool. When the water was added back into our pool, our former pool service company performed a "start up" chemical process so that the water would be balanced properly. They began servicing with chlorine and shock, as needed.  When Dean installed my new pool motor and pool cleaner, he tested my water for me and showed me the exact chemical composition of the water. We were both surprised at how out of balance the water was after such a short time since the "new" water was added. Having the opportunity to actually see the chemical composition and to learn more about properly caring for the water, I decided to hire Dean to service our pool. This was a few months ago and I am VERY happy with my decision.  Getting detailed reports emailed to us after each pool service to let us know what was done each week is SO much different than what we have ever experienced with other pool companies. Our pool water has never looked better and our pump and cleaner have made my life so much easier.  As a real estate agent, we have started referring Dean to our clients and have used him for pool inspections and pool repairs. My pool pump had burned out and needed to be either repaired or replaced. They asked me to send a couple of pictures and answer a few questions, then provided quotes for both repair and replacement options. I also did some research on the company and found out they are licensed, bonded, and insured, which gave me peace of mind. Their pricing was also very reasonable compared to other quotes we received. In the end, we decided to replace the pool pump. Chris explained the quote and options, Robyn handled the scheduling and payment process, and Michael came out for the installation. Everyone was professional, efficient, and friendly throughout the whole process. I highly recommend them if you need any pool work done.

James replied in a timely manner and gave me a price that seemed fair for the work and was still very competitive compared to others that wanted to rob me for a 30-45 min job and some minor parts. We provided photos in advance of the visit as requested. Karim was knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. Once the filter was installed he showed us how to operate it. We also got a booklet to go with the filter. He set the pool vacuum on the timer. It worked perfectly the next morning. It is also so quiet, you can barely hear it running.
